Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I was really excited to use this product after reading alot about bb creams on beauty reviews. It made my skin glow and more smoother lookin aswell.. kind of like a airbrushed look.. i would definately keep using this product and i have allready recommended it to friends and family.. one thing i did find is that it rubbed off on my collar during tge day.. maybe it was because i didnt let it dry long enough or maybe it was due to sweat maybe? Im not sure but i still love it lol..

So obviously, my skin is pretty normal, never gets dry but previously it's leaned a bit towards the oily side. First applying this, I was a bit scared as it felt extremely oily and slippery, and I thought it would probably slide off and melt very quickly. However, it was very easy to blend and buff in, and gave even, light coverage. The formula is almost like a mousse. I didn't like the fragrance, it smelt like that generic skincare scent, which would have been alright except it was extremely strong. The finish was very dewy, too much for my liking, but with a translucent powder applied over it gave quite a nice, natural dewy finish. The packaging it nice, seems like a decent amount of product, and very easy to dispense the right amount of product. For the price, it is pretty reasonable, although you can get some Korean and Japanese BB creams for the same price that are amazing quality. I haven't really noticed any major skincare benefits, but also no issues with the product either. For how oily it felt, it didn't break me out, and actually lasted a pretty reasonable time, I noticed it fading after about 4 hours. It was pretty hydrating, so it did do that as it says it does. I think this is an okay product, and I will be using it, but probably won't repurchase.

This BB cream was not what I was expecting. I had never used a bb cream before this and was very surprised by the results. It didn't have the best coverage but it did tone down some of my nasty pimples. The consistency was very thin and a bit runny but it was very effortless to blend in. I was going to use a stipple brush but then just used clean fingers and it went on like a dream. Perfect if you are just having I don't care but secretly I do care make up day.

I thought this was a fantastic BB cream! I have used three other brands of BB creams before this one and would rate this one as a close second best. I really liked the creamy consistency, it felt like it was moisturising my face well without being too heavy. The cream itself gave a light but good coverage for a BB cream. I use the cream by itself when I'm around home and with a powder foundation for more coverage when going out. I have a light to medium skin colouring so I was a little worried that the colour of this cream would be too pale for me however the shade of the cream was on the darker side for a light shade cream so it was a perfect match for my skin. The smell of the cream is ok, fairly non-offensive and goes away quickly. The box that product arrived in to was very informative which I liked and thought was great as BB creams are a relatively new product so it was nice to get an accurate description on what you are getting. I would recommend this BB cream to others.

My skin has orange undertones is usually dry, with an oily surface (i.e. t zone gets quite shiny throughout the day), and I have pimples to cover around my chin and can be sensitive to specific products, but usually doesn't react.

I found that comparing this BB Cream to others I have tried (Shiseido and Za) it is a lot lighter and provides less coverage with what feels like a more oily base. However, this coverage could be built up a little without looking cakey (unless I added too much), but did not manage to completely cover the problem chin area (though this is often a difficult area to cover. It blended in well to my skin (though is probably a little pinker than my usual shade) and did not cause any reaction.

I think that because the product is lighter than the other BB Cream I use and seems to feel a little oilier, it did not last all day, particularly in the oily t-zone area I mentioned I have. It just slid off in my oilier areas, but did stay on quite well in the cheeks area, and covered the redness I tend to have in my cheeks. However, I did find the sun protection SPF15, a little bit of a let down, as with paler skin, I know it is not enough to protect me.

For the quantity in the packaging the price seems to be one of the cheapest BB Creams available and though I do prefer the other BB Creams that I've used, this is a good alternative. I will be interested to see how long the tube lasts, as I do find myself using more than with my Za BB Cream due to the lighter consistency, and therefore it might not be as cost effective.

Overall, I was really quite happy with the results of the Garnier BB Cream and it increased my expectations of this brand. The packaging was eye catching and well made giving all the information needed about the product and it's uses. And though it did not cover or last as well as my current BB cream, it did do a pretty good job. I'll probably wouldn't buy this again, due to the difficulty with the oily t-zone and the lower sun protection (my current BB Cream is SPF 43). However, I will finish the tube and keep it in mind if my skin changes and for maybe winter. Also, I may recommend it to a friend under the right circumstances. I'm giving this a 3.5-4/5

This product is great and long lasting. Even with two layers on it feels light and not caked on. I use it everyday and I never have any problems with it looking orange. Will buy more in the future and would 100 percent recommend to a friend.

Light texture , Non greasy. Thought the color was too dark when initially used on my face but it then lightened in a few seconds of drying. Loved the coverage not too heavy but enough to cover the pink in my cheeks after cleansing. Overall a excellent product would definitely purchase and use as a everyday product.

I was very impressed with this product, the consistency of the creme was very smooth and applying it to my face was very easy. The creme has a very mild scent and doesnt feel heavy on your face. I found this product gave me complete coverage and lasted for a good 8 hours. The one thing that i loved was the fact you only need to use a small amount so the Creme will last for ages. When the product arrived the box was damaged but the tube itself was in excellent condition. I have Normal to Combination Skin and this product suited me to a tee xx I highly recommend this product :)

Firstly a little about my skin. I have fair skin mostly normal am pron to breakouts and as a busy mother of three and being an ece teacher quick easy make up that looks natural is very important to me. I tried this product three different ways on it's own with blush and eye makeup and as a base for foundation and it worked for every look. On it's own it gives a natural look covering most of my imperfections but a concealer is needed for the harder to cover blemishes. This BB cream is a perfect substitute for everyday wear with medium cover but if I was going out and needed more cover I would pair it with my normal foundation. This cream has a thick consistancy but felt light on my skin and a little goes a long way it didn't seem to have much of a fragrance which I liked and it lasted all day. Because this product was easy to apply gavee a natural look as well as being good value for money I feel it is a perfect product for me and I am now a BB cream convert and have added this to my daily make up routine.
