Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I use this BB cream every day in place of foundation. As a busy mum I don't have time to do a full face daily but I pair this and set it with a powder and it gives me enough coverage not to feel naked and even out my skin. It's almost on me and has a pleasant smell. I do think the medium is quite dark.

I have quite pale skin and this really gives me a soft bronzed glow without making me look like a pumpkin. And because it is really light it looks like my real skin because it doesn't hide things like my freckles. I am absolutely in love with this. It is perfect for throwing on when you don't want that natural no makeup look but you also don't want to look like a ghost!!

I bought this product after hearing how great it was. I'm all about multi-tasking products, so I was very keen to try it.

Unfortunately, I had two issues with it. First, the colour. This would be an entirely personal thing, but the light colour was so pale it looked like I wasn't wearing BB cream at all (so what is the point of that??) and the medium looked silly because it was too dark. I bought both hoping I could mix them together and make a colour in the middle, but it still never really worked for me. Because this was a supermarket product I was unable to try the colours on my skin first. I guess this is a me problem rather than a product problem but I would be interested to know if others had the same issue.

My other thing I didn't like about it - and this is a more realistic complaint - is that after I applied the BB cream my skin felt sticky all day. My ideal BB cream/tinted moisturiser is one that I apply and forget about, but whenever I touched my face I could feel the product on my skin and it wiped off on my clothes any time they touched my face.

In the end I was so disappointed with this that I gave it away - and I rarely give up on a product. I know others who loved it, but I can't agree!

The Garnier Miracle Perfector BB Cream in light would be the best of these BB creams for pale skin. If you have skin slightly darker than the cream you could mix it with the the next darker shade.

In terms of the BB cream itself, it was quite thick when it came out the tube, but spreads quite thinly over the face. You do need to be careful when you squeeze the tube though, it is very easy to get more than you need coming out.

The tube itself is typical hole in the top with a lid that snaps shut, plastic tube.

As far a BB creams go it's an affordable good quality product. But I didn't find it to be a miracle skin perfector, I'd be more inclined to just use foundation.

I have very fair skin and this product worked pretty well. Covers most average blemishes, but I can't say I saw any improvements in my skin due to use of this product.

This product is a life saver. Being a ale acne prone girl who usually does not have the time in the morning as I sleep a LITTLE longer than i should... It makes me look like a normal functioning human!. It hides all of my redness and makes my acne less visable keeps my skin moisturised and keeps my skin protected. all within five seconds ahh! recommend this to everyone!

I love this product I use it everyday as I dot t like to wear foundation on a daily basis. It gives me a decent coverage that is build-able and sits well on my face and does give a great glow I would 100% recommend it to a friend, and its affordable for a uni student such as me !

This is the second bb cream I have tried after being hooked and in live with my younique one. But for this low price I thought I'd give it a go. I got the light/clair tone and I originally thought this will be too dark as I'm quite fair, but I used about a pea size worth and blended out with a blending bud and wow it definitely corrected uneven skin tones and looks even better when applied over my primers. It is very light so not the best coverage for blemishes but a dab of concealer and set with my usual powder and I'm all ready to go. It lasts all day with primer but find it is wearing off by evening otherwise.

This was the first BB Cream I ever tried and it set such a high standard for me - I just keep coming back to it.

I use it everyday as my go-to work foundation paired with the E.L.F Translucent powder, it gives me an even skin tone without hiding my freckles. If I need any spot fixes I just use a concealer.

It barely feels like it's there - love it!
