Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I got this as a gift from mother as she didn't like it, I do like wearing some moisture through the day and a tint dose help, this has done that but at the end of the day I'm feeling dry on my face, it is thick to put on and you have to blend it in, it has a strong smell (yet to decided if like that or not), and i don't feel so fresh more oily like fluff would stick to my face, it takes to long to sink into skin. I'm glad i didn't pay the price of it and i wouldn't purchase in future, and i don't have the coverage I'd like to have.

Really like it, gives good coverage for a bb cream, it provides me with a nice colour and blends in really nicely into my skin. Is cheap and you get a lot compared to other BB cream brands and it's pretty good. In saying that, not sure how it reduces my wrinkles (which it's meant to) so that's not very good. Otherwise, I use it daily!

I wanted to try this BB cream as I have been using the Garnier BB cream for oily skin which has a matte finish. I wanted to achieve a more dewy/hydrated finish from a BB cream. I was quite excited about trying this one. I like the packaging how its more solid and a better shape than the matte finish one (and once you open it it doesn’t leak out). I was shocked to see how thick this is. I got the shade “light” . Well you may as well call this light orange. You may need to use a sponge or bush to blend this in as it is quite difficult to do it with your fingers. I had to mix mine with moisturizer to try and make it work for me. Once applied I expected a dewy hydrated finish. It came off as really shiny. I tried to use a powder on top to tone it down but it didn’t really make too much of a difference.

I am so disappointed with this BB cream. I cant stand the smell of it. I applied and started sneezing like crazy and my friend came over and started sneezing as well. The fragrance in this is so crazy strong. It also completely broke me out! It was an awful experience! I think ill just stick with the matte finish BB cream from now on.

I love this product, It's the perfect BB cream IF you have normal skin! It glides on smoothly, rubs on really well, and blends into the skin brilliantly. But it is a bit thick on the skin! Mask like! For me it did more than the standard BB cream job, it acted as a foundation, and covered all my spots and dark circles - brilliant for everyday wear when I don't feel like wearing foundation.

My only problem is that it's not a match for oily skin. My skin was an oil slick in two hours, and I felt like I was melting!! But when you use it on normal skin, Im sure it's perfect!

I am a longtime wearer of "pancake" makeup so as I was nervous about trying a liquid foundation I thought I would give a BB cream a go first. WOW, so easy to apply, doesn't suffocate my skin and it lasted all day too with only a little bit of an oily patch developing in the T zone during the later part of the day. It hasn't affected my sensitive skin in any way so I am now on my second tube of this fabulous product. Such a good price too.

This was the first BB cream I ever tried, and has stood the test of time to remain my favourite. I use the medium tone on a daily basis and it fits my skin perfectly, giving it a fresh and shiny look. I found it to have very good coverage and like that it is a little thicker in consistency - without being greasy or heavy on my skin.

The packaging was ok basic but easy to use and I was impressed with the amount of product you get 50mls compared to 30mls in my favorite bb cream so that's definitely a plus and it had a nice fresh smell to it.

I did find it super thick which I'm not used to in a bb cream. In a bb cream I want a light no make up feel and I definitely didn't get that it felt heavy and sticky.

It was also in my opinion quite dark I got the shade light and I don't feel I'm super light I'm about medium light if that makes sense lol. The coverage was ok no more or less than I would expect in a bb cream.

A couple of times I applied foundation over top and this was a fail it looked dry and in places it rubbed off as soon as the sponge touched it.

I wouldn't repurchase or recommend it to friends there's better products out there.

Due to the courier not delivering this product on time I only had a couple of days to review and use it. My skin type is normal, this cream proved great on my skin. Although looking and feeling like quite a heavy cream it went on lightly and was easy to spread evenly across my skin. I only had to use my fingers, no sponge or brushes needed. The colour was good on my skin and gave my skin a natural look. The coverage stayed even on my face throughout the day and appeared to not rub off onto my clothing etc. The only downfall I felt was the strong almost overpowering fragrance when you first apply the cream, however this did decrease as the day went on. Overall a lovely wee product to throw in your handbag for everyday use.

Sadly the light is still quite dark and orange toned. I am to pale for any of these shades to match me but I love how it made my skin look.

Light coverage but makes your skin look so hydrated and glowy. It would be nice if they made some paler shades :)
