Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I was quite disappointed with this product from the first moment I put it on my face, it was too dark even though it was in the shade light and I don't consider myself to be very pale.

This is a very thick product, and it left my face feeling sticky thoughout the day, I found this to be very difficult to ignore as I could feel it sitting on my face even when I wasn't touching it with my fingers. I found that way is was packaged to be very easy to use due to its thick consistency and the squeezable tube, as I was able to get exactly the right amount that I wanted. It has quite a pleasant smell although after I had applied it to my face I could no longer smell it.

I have normal skin and this BB cream promised to give me a healthy glow, I found that instead it gave me a sheen that made me look oily/sweaty and unwell. I tried using the product in ways to prevent this instead of using just my fingers like I normally would with a BB cream. I used a foundation sponge (one similar to the beauty blender) this seemed to help stop some of the shine although it did give a more sheer finish. I also tried using powder which worked quite well, although my favorite thing about BB creams is that the are simple, they are something that I like chuck on for an easy everyday look and powder just complicates this simple process, this also helped to prevent some of the sticky feeling.

My Favorite BB cream is the Maybelline pure BB cream, compared to that the Garnier BB cream is just not worth the money, this is not a product I will be purchasing or even finishing.

I've never tried a bb cream before. It didn't have the coverage I thought it would but I wore it a couple of times under my make up and it was really nice as a primer/base. Usually my skin breaks out when I wear new products but I wore this for 4 days and didn't which was nice. I'd prefer a bit more coverage for my day to day makeup though.

I found this product easy to apply and quickly absorbed into my skin. It has a pleasant enough smell and definitely gave my skin a nice glow. I found this bb cream did not provide as much coverage as I would have liked but would probably would use again as a primer before putting on something with a bit more coverage or for those days where I don't want to wear makeup. My skin did feel hydrated after using but wouldn't go as far to say my skin looked ''flawless' as redness and imperfections were still visible. Suited for those who are after a very light tinted moisturiser which has very minimal coverage.

I was sceptical of the 24hr hydrating care claim the most, my skin is at a truly icky stage now i've hit my 30's - but fear not, even after washing my face at the end of each day my skin felt silky to the touch and seemed to glow! It was easy to apply and gave me a soft glow like i'd just been enjoying some sunshine - when in reality i'd been slaving away in a windowless concrete tower. The only negative feedback for me would be the scent - it was a little overpowering. So all in all Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector gets a giant thumbs up from me :)

So, the BB cream was never going to be a winner with me because my skin tends to be quite red, therefore, I use a foundation that has quite full coverage. However, I really wanted to give this a try because I love the idea of wearing less make up. I made myself wear the BB cream for a whole day without anything else, but it just wasn't enough and I did not feel beautiful wearing it. This was disappointing as BB creams (according to my friends) are the next best thing to sliced bread. I decided to give it a go wearing it as my base and then putting powder over the top, this was definitely better and for the first half of the day felt very fresh - but alas, it didn't last. So, the plus's: Really nice smell, light wearing, great for going on holiday. Minus's: if you are used to full coverage, not going to tick that box, if you have oily skin, its just going to make that worse (in my opinion).

When trying this BB cream I had to YouTube the best way to apply them, most said to use your fingers however I found it so much easier with a stippling brush. The cover was quite shear and I found it left my skin looking and feeling oily if I didn't use a powder over top. It has a very chemically smell which does go away once its all buffed in. I am very fair and being winter im slightly paler so it was very slightly too dark but wasn't too hard to make it work. Didn't make me break out or anything which is great. Its a nice little BB cream to have in the kit though and found it made a great primer for foundation :)

After using this product my skin is usuallly smooth and soft and this product made my skin oily and break out in pimples...its quite easy to apply and you dont need much. It has a pleasent smell but doesnt last long. Coverage is good.. quite smooth and goes into skin quite well. During the day you forget u have it on...it does it job all day.. pricing is good.. worth its price and i havent tried other bb creams..Packaging - is nice and states exactly what to do with it..I would reccomend to a friend who uses skin products like this often but otherwise i would personally stay away from it.

I liked thickness of this cream blending into my skin, covered over my sun damage and vitiligo quite well. It's got a nice fresh fragrance which fades away. I like the fact it has a sun screen in the cream which is very important to me, because having vitiligo, it is not good to get sun burn on those areas, as it burns quicker and deeper. I would use this cream every day for going to work and recreational time and to prevent further sun damage to my skin. I like that is retains moisture unlike other creams I've use where the cream seems to dry out quick and still leave my skin looking dry and flaky. The information on the packaging encourages me to want to try this product to see how well it works. It's very cheap for the price. I found I didn't need to use a lot to get coverage, about the size of pea was enough. Removing the make up at the end of the day was very easy to remove.

This BB cream was pleasant enough to use daily but I'm not sure if I'd purchase it myself. It did even out my skin tone as it said it would and smelled nice but I wouldn't be able to rely on it alone for a morning all-in-one moisturiser like it claimed. I liked that it wasn't too thick, and it applied smoothly. The colour was a good match for me (as I wear neutral/slightly pink shades) but a very yellow-based skin person may have trouble matching up. I don't feel the colour changed throughout the day. Around lunch, it started to look a little shiny through my T Zone (I don't have oily skin) so I took to applying a little powder over it in the morning. It gave it a touch more coverage and it still looked pretty good. I didn't see any noticeable changes in the radiance of my skin although a week isn't long enough for a fair test on this, or of the inclusion of Vitamin C. I think the SPF15 was a nice idea, but it isn't enough to be solely relied on for sun protection in my opinion. Overall the product was nice, and the price point and availability are a bonus. It didn't wow me but it was a good product to try.

Wow I really loved using this BB cream, every morning I used it and it was so easy to apply plus it looked so natural with my skin tone. It made my skin feel soft and hydrated the whole day and also made my skin look more youthful which is always a good thing. I would recommend this BB cream to everyone who wants to save time by applying one product to your skin in the morning. I have used lots of products over the years but this is truely a great item to have. The price is very reasonable and the size of the bottle is really generous as well. Everyone should try this BB cream for themselves and they will see that it is wonderful. Thanks beauty review for the chance to trial this product.
