Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I tried this product both with and without a concealer to determine whether it is better suited either way. I found that it is very easy to apply and is an extremely light feeling foundation, which is great. For my day to day activities I found the foundation to last most of the day only slightly coming off at the end of the day which was brilliant. The only negative I would have for this product would be that unless you have no major blemishes then you will definitely need to use a concealer under it for better coverage, as this foundation doesn’t seem to cover them. As this BB cream states, it corrects blemishes; I would have to disagree with that as it does cover any slight redness however not much else. I found blemishes to be very visible without the use of concealer under this BB cream. Other than that it was a good product and I would happily use it again.  

I remember trying this BB cream when BB creams first came out and I wasn't so impressed at the time. I remember it making my skin look very oily.

I am however pleasantly surprised that this second time trying this product has been good. It seems they have improved the formula. It smells rather good also.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this as other BB creams I've tried have been twice the price. I have to say I was surprisingly impressed. This BB cream is well packaged and easy to apply. I have an uneven skin tone and am prone to blemishes and this worked quite well, my skin looked and felt much nicer. I used the BB cream with a concealer and it worked well under foundation as well.

Other pluses are that it smells pleasant, moisturises well (my skin felt really hydrated) and is a really good price too. On the downside it did seem slightly oily and I had try not to touch my face as seemed to leave an oily residue on items I'd touched.

Overall, I was impressed by this product and would consider purchasing in the future.

My skin is usually quite normal apart from the occasional very slight redness on my cheeks. It is also more dry in the Winter around my nose. I would consider the consistency of this product to be light. You can't feel it when it's on your skin which is great! I applied this product like it was a moisturiser with my hands. I found it easy to apply and it was very smooth with no patchy bits. I didn't really notice a smell. I suppose it is a little fruity. Very pleasant smelling, not too overpowering. I didn't notice a smell after it was applied to my skin. I consider it to be quite a sheer coverage BB Cream and the finish made your skin very glowy. I wore this product on it's own for a day and found my skin almost looked a little greasy and too shiny. It says this product is hydrating and gives you glowy skin and I would agree with this. However I prefer a matte finish so I wore this BB Cream with my usual foundation and powder and found I loved the look a whole lot more. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I found this product wore off my forehead halfway through the day which wasn't ideal. I believe this product is a decent drugstore BB Cream although I would love it a lot more if the finish was more matte. If you like a light dewy skin finish then this is perfect for you. I love the packaging as its easy to get out and you don't waste any product. The packaging looks clean and fresh. I believe this product does what it says in the aspect that it is hydrating and your skin looks healthy and glowing but I disagree that your skin will look flawless as it didn't completely cover my few freckles on my nose and I felt like I could only apply a thin layer as otherwise my skin would have looked extremely greasy by the end of the day which is odd as I've always had normal to dry skin. I would recommend to a friend if they wanted a light coverage BB Cream with a glowing skin finish.

I usually wear alot of foundation, as I have freckles and I hate them. But I attemped to use the BB Cream for when I wasnt coming into work. The shade was a little dark for me, but thats no fault of the product. I found it does exactly what It says it does. It does give good coverage, for those who are wanting colour/moisture and have quite good skin. It didnt cover as well for me, but thats my particular taste. I had a friend who uses BB Cream, to tell me her thoughts, and she thought it was great. And that the quality is as good as what she had been using. So from that, I recommend it.

I found that the Garnier Miracle Skin BB cream wasn't the best idea for my skin.. I thought it was quite heavy and more like a light coverage thick foundation. It is okay for a (almost literally) no make-up make-up look. I find it is good for me for school if i put some powder, blush and bronzer on, too. Although i did get a HUGE pimple the day after using it, I would still go back to it for a very light "something" as it's better than having nothing, and I don't like having a full face of makeup for school :)
