Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I have beed using this product for 1 week now and I love it! To start I was worried that I ordered the shade that is to dark for me, but blends very well. It is so easy to apply evens out the skin tone. I've had so many good comments about my skin for the past week! I highly recommend this product, and I will definitely continue to use this product!

I wasn't to sure how I felt about this product, I had mixed feelings, it went on smooth felt light and smelt Devine!! The medium was a little to dark for me, the coverage very average good for a natural look or a stay at home day. I found it to be a nice base for my everday make-up routine as I like a bit more coverage.

The packaging was awesome and explained a lot about the product I loved how th packing showed the actual size of the product on the outside to, over all a good product but not quiet my style I would definetly recommend it for someone who likes a natural look or is trying to go for a natural look.

I was excited to be on the trail team as this is my first bb cream. I have fairly normal skin with not so oily T-zone but suffer from odd breakout usually around my chin and nose. I chose the Medium shade which I found was a little dark and orange for me but still better than the Light shade which would be way too light. I found even though it seems to be of a thick consistency it spread quite easily. I used my finger tips to apply the cream to my face and neck. It was easy to blend into the skin and found it did help to even out my skintone. The fragrance is light and fresh which doesn't linger on. It has build-able light-medium coverage. I love how it has SPF 15 too.. I tried with primer underneath and found the color showed up as more orangey. I noticed when applied it looks shiny and greasy but once it's all dried it doesn't feel like it. It lasted all day for me and washes off really easily with warm water. Packaging is ok..doesn't stand out to me. The actual container is simple to use, however I found it got a bit messy around the opening of the tube.

Overall I think it is very good value for money and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light-medium coverage BB cream. My only gripe is the orange tint it leaves behind on my skin.

My skin is a combination of normal to dry. The area a round my nose, chin and forehead can get a little shiny but as I am 53 things are starting to dry out. The texture and application of the cream were good. Not too thick and easy to apply. I only tried to apply it with my fingers and it was very effective around the eye area. I loved the fragrance, very fresh but not too strong. The coverage is on the lighter side, not as thick as a foundation - I use a Bobbie Brown stick foundation. But it is thicker than a tinted moisturiser. The finish is in between dewy and matt. It lasted well and started to wear off around my nose area after 5 - 6 hours. The price is amazingly low and it was in Countdown on sale for $10 dollars last week. I have sampled a few BB creams and this is definitely the best one so far and at a substanially cheaper price. I dislike the Garnier packaging. Too many colours, fonts and generally too much going on. My eye is never drawn to the packaging and I have avoided buying any Garnier product. (I purchased a cleanser a number of years ago and found it very harsh and unfortunately that has also coloured my perception) The tube did make it easy to use the right amount. Results - I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you for choosing me to trial this product as I wouldn't have bought this otherwise. As I stated earlier this is the best BB cream I have tried. I have tried a number of more expensive brands i.e. Estee Lauder, Clinque, Revlon etc. I was sceptical about the 24 hour hydrating claims and still wonder how it can be "24 hours" when I remove it at night but my skin does feel more plumped and the wrinkles seem less obvious. It does keep my face moisturised throughout the day. The instantly flawless claim is a little over the top. My skin tone was improved but I still prefer my Bobbie Brown foundation finish to this. I have tried it on it's own - would only do this on a day off. Over moisturiser and primer. On my skin first with a primer (Yves St Laurant) on the top, then a touch up with foundation with a light dusting of powder. The last would be my preferred combination. I will keep using the product and will recommend it my daughters and friends. I will also try some of the other Garnier products in the future.

This BB cream has a light fresh smelling fragrance coming straight from the bottle, and it goes away after it dries. It goes on like a tinted moisturizer, so it feels very nice. I have got dry skin from advancing age, and this BB crème helps with hydration as it says 24 hour hydration . I got this in a light colour, also, it's a little shiny when you put it on, but after it dries, it's mostly gone. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of coverage that Garnier's BB cream provided me with. I would say that it was somewhere between light to medium, but possibly more on the lighter side. However, I found that I could build it up, without my face looking like I'd caked the cream on. I really couldn't feel this on my skin because it's really lightweight When I take it off, my skin isn't irritated an I love the way this BB cream makes my skin look. It gives it such a nice subtle sheen, perfect for the Spring/Summer months. I also like the fact that this BB cream makes my complexion look more even in tone. I find that it does blur imperfections and gives a radiant glow while looking quite natural. I use a moisturiser under and apply with my fingers. It doesn't look caked on or unnatural I don't have to scrub like I would with foundation. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and healthy. I found this BB crème lasted all day as I needed it to, and only needed to renew it before going out at night time It has an SPF 15 rating, is very nicely packaged I definitely think this is a nice BB cream for any age group I definitely recommend this product and will be using it again!

**My review may be swayed based on the fact that the colour I got was too dark for me.**

I did not like this product When I put it on it didn't go on very smoothly and I ended up with some streaking.

The smell was not very nice, quite "plant-y" for lack of a better word. I did not like the feeling of it when I put it on my skin.

However,

I liked the feeling of it once it had dried, it felt like I was wearing nothing and didn't look too heavy on my skin. IF it was the right colour I may have liked it more for that reason.

This BB Cream offered a light even coverage, it hydrated my dry skin. This BB Cream had a slight scent which wasn't to over powering. It did what it says it dose and I will definitely buy this product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light coverage BB Cream.

I'm sure I've tried this brand before and I think I found it too dry and powdery on application.

However this time around was a different experience. I moisturised a little prior to application and the cream went on really smoothly.

Once applied the cream evened out by skin tone without making me look like a had a layer of foundation on. It also gave me a bit of a glow, a kind of dewy finish which looked good. I had some professional photos done that day and I was pretty glad I had gone with this makeup as they look great.

The fragrance was fine, packaging was fairly standard and simple to use.

I'll continue to use this BB cream as it's a great alternative to full foundation which I particularly dislike.

A perfect everyday bb cream if you don't want to feel like you have a cake on your face. The coverage is light, so it blends into your skin seamlessly but there's still enough coverage to not have to overload concealer on top. Don't miss dusting powder on top, however, otherwise you'll look like a greaseball for the rest of the day. Overall, a decent product all around.

When I first squirted some of the BB cream out of the tube I noticed that it was thicker and creamier than BB creams I've used in the past, meaning that it was much easier to dispense the right amount. It had a pleasant (but not strong) scent. My skin is mostly normal but can sometimes be a bit sensitive, so I was really interested to find out how my skin would go with a new product. My skin has been fine and I haven't had any breakouts or redness that sometimes come with trying new products. I prefer to apply BB cream with my hands because it gives me a more natural finish, and I was please with how dewy and beautiful my skin looks while wearing this. The main thing I like about this BB cream is that it covers the things I don't want seen (redness, uneven skin tone etc) and lets my freckles show through! I love that it smoothes out my skin and gives me a natural look that will last the whole day.

I really like Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for normal skin, and would not only recommend it but purchase it again myself.
