Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I love it!! My skin type is usually quite dry and normally things like this would cake up and build up on my dry areas and look awful. This gave me the best coverage and you don't need to use much at all. It doesn't look like you have heavy make-up on, it looks natural and smooth. I like how it was creamy and smelled quite pleasant. So quick and easy to apply. The product seemed to last most the day and made me look fresh and feel 'alive'. I would be happy to pay for it as I can tell it will last me a long time and do the job I want it to do. Packaging was great. Simple, yet elegant and very easy to use without spillage. So I will most definitely continue to use this product and rave about it to my friends. It's easy, does what it says, affordable, efficient and gives great results!

I was very excited to try this BB cream, I currently use Lioele Triple as a base when applying foundation to ensure I hide all of my freckles etc. I feel that this BB cream was quite different to others in the sense it held more colour instead of making me super white. The coverage was not the greatest, I would compare it best to tinted moisturisers I have used in the past. I got a Medium shade sample, this was a bit dark for me but I was able to blend it out and make it work for my skin tone with the help of my powder. I did enjoy the moisturising factor of this BB cream, it felt really nice on my skin and has a pleasant scent about it too! I would use this BB cream in future on a day around the house, just so I have something on my skin but as a personal preference I prefer to have full coverage when heading out =)

Not sure if I like this BB cream or not. It's quite thick, almost as thick as a foundation. I did have some nice compliments the night I wore it out at night, so that is a good thing. It has a pleasant fragrance, and I didn't have to use makeup remover on my fingers to get the residue off like I have had to with other brands. With my pale face, I used the light colour for the trial, but for people with extremely pale skin, it would still be too dark. It didn't do a bad job with my 40 year old skin, and it lasted a night out.

I've got pretty normal skin. It's not wrinkly, oily, dry or crazily pigmented, it just sits in the middle of the road as we travel together towards 40. So while it's not problematic sometimes I wake up looking like the tired Mum I am and I think I should probably make a bit of an effort and put some make up on for work. I've used BB creams before included L'Oreal's Youth Code and in my make up drawer I currently have 2 products on the go - a Dove tinted moisturiser and a REN organic BB cream from Liberty of London- so a high and low end I guess you could say. To be honest I don't notice an extreme difference with any of them, the Garnier Miracle Skin included. They all do what they say they will initially, they even out the skin and give you a bit of colour.

The Garnier product had the signature Garnier smell, went on smoothly and provided the hint of colour I was looking for. Did it give me miracle skin or make me look younger? No, but I appreciated the SPF - important even in winter.

I don't find the product lasts particularly well, probably hold the initial effect for an hour.

This product is no better or worse than other mainstream BB cream on the market, making me happy to recommend it or any other supermarket BB cream if someone wants an everyday boost at a reasonable price but not enough to make me recommend it as a skin or life changing product.

Unfortunately I am not a fan of really anything about this product. The fragrance was pleasant, but almost a little too floral for my tastes. But Starting with... The Formula: I found this incredibly thick, and I am used to thick BB creams my regular is Lioele Triple, but I found this to have a really strange consistency, it reminded me of Nivea Young's Tinted Moisturiser, while t seemed to blend ok (I used a buffing brush to apply) it just does not sit on the skin well. The Shade: I am generally a pretty tan person, but this colour of the Medium tone is so orange, I had to use a very light powder over top to counteract the orange base. It is not flattering and I cant even picture what sort of skin colour a person would have to have to match with this shade well. As for giving healthy and flawless skin I definitely don't think so. Overall I wouldn't recommend this to another person, the texture of the product alone was enough to put me off, for a product that markets itself as a light touch of make up, it is very heavy and thick feeling, my regular foundation which is a medium coverage feels lighter to wear! Because I don't like to be mean to products I will finish with a positive, and that was the packaging, I really like the compact wee tube!

As someone with an uneven skin tone, I was eager to try Garnier BB Cream to see if it would actual even out my complexion. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. As someone who always wears a heavy cover foundation to hide the redness in my checks, I found the Garnier BB Cream gave me nice even colour. With a light touch of power on my nose, I was ready to leave for work with just my BB Cream and some mascara. Being nice and light, I found that it wasn't drying and my skin felt hydrated all day. With the added bonus of an SPF 15, you really cant go wrong with this product. It's a handy size to keep in your handbag should you need a quick touch up and is most definitely a for the beach bag in summer. I found it to be pleasant smelling and gave me a healthy glow, that even my husband noticed. My only problem I found with this product is being a light shade, the colour was a little pink for my skin tone. Overall I would recommend this product for everyone to try.

Beautiful to apply using a foundation brush, light wearing yet the coverage is nice and even, left my skin soft without being too oily and stood up to a fast working environment. Nice subtle fragrance too.

After signing up to the trial I was a bit worried about the colouring for my pale complexion it's normally a struggle to find makeup to match that isn't too dark (I had the light shade). I was very impressed with this product! It has a very thick consistency you only need a small amount to do the job. I found it was very easy to apply, I applied it as if it was a moisturiser with my hands and spread it evenly around my face. I found it didn't really have a smell. The coverage is quite sheer, but it did even out my complexion! For me it lasted a full 8 hours at work which is great! I felt it keep my skin hydrated. I would definitely re-purchase this. Overall I really enjoyed this product and it will remain in my daily beauty regime.

This product really does what it claims to do, it states that it will help even out skin tone and perfects your imperfections. It is a thick consistency and 2 layers is really build-able and helps do a full coverage like it recommends for a more full on coverage. I also used this under my make-up and it even my tone, took away my redness and also helped my foundation glide on so easy!! This BB cream is sooo good compared to the last formula that I tried last year. I am so impressed with this. It is easy to apply, best to apply with your fingers so the product is warm. There is no real noticeable fragrance that I found at all and I hate things that have a strong scent. The product did last longer under foundation then it did on its own, but it still looked good after a few hours wear. I would defiantly recommend this if you are wanting an affordable BB cream that does what it says on the box. I think that it is a must have for every make-up lover, it is a lot cheaper than most primers and does it exactly the same thing, your skin still has that nice glowing even completion look to it.
