I've tried a few bb creams and for each one if I want anything more than a very light cover/ glow then I always apply powder foundation on top. Until now! On first look the Garnier BB cream looked noticibly thicker and more pigmented than any previous BB cream I have tried. After applying a primer I used just my fingertips to smooth on the BB first impression was "oh no it's too orange/dark!" But I had simply not rubbed in enough. It spread really well and did not need very much at all. Once properly rubbed in it gave impressive coverage! It's still a BB so it doesn't cover everything but it provided a decent medium coverage for my skin as well as a healthy glow! Smell is pleasant/ not too "perfumey" or chemical smelling. But wait... Here's the impressive part! It sticks like glue! I put it on in the morning, no touch ups required, and even went to bootcamp that night and sweated my bum off and guess what!? Still on strong- did not run or sweat off!! For a supermarket brand BB cream I would totally recommend!! Tube is a good size that will last you a while! I have normal/ dry skin and found this great; it was perhaps a tad on the oily side so I fear that it may not be 100% suitable for oily skin. But for $17 it's worth a go!

Tips: Not to prime is a crime!- get a good face primer to avoid blocking your pores up Rub it in good! If you think it's looking too orange, spread it further! It will cover a decent area. Don't forget your neck, blend it in well right down your neck to avoid streaky patches.
BB creams have become famous very quickly in the beauty industry. I mean who wouldn't love them. They are not as heavy as a foundation but provide a decent amount of cover along with the skin benefits. But are they really all they are cracked up to be? Over the past week I have tried out the Garnier Skin Naturals BB cream for normal skin. I have a light complexion so I used the light shade. It comes in a generous 50ml tube and claims to give 24hr hydration, evens complexion, corrects blemishes, gives a health glow and has UV protection. So I put it to the test and here are my thoughts. I didn't have it on my skin for 24 hrs but I did wear it for a good 8 hours, multiple times and I'd have to say that it did keep my skin hydrated for a good part of that time. It evened my skin tone and covered most of the redness however, if you have moderate to sever acne I would not recommend this product for cover. Do keep in mind that this is only a bb cream and not a full coverage foundation. It gave me a dewy finish. I have normal/dry skin and I did feel that by the end of the day I was a little shiny. I wouldn't recommend this specific one for oily skin as it clearly states normal skin type. As far as the UV protection, it's hard to say because of the season we are currently in but I believe the SPF 15 is a good amount as it gives you some protection without giving you that harsh flash back that is commonly talked about with products that have SPF. I believe it is a good product for the price and would recommend to someone that has normal and clear/minor blemish skin. Just one thing to keep in mind is that it does oxidize a little throughout the day which is a con unfortunately. The only other downside to this bb cream is the scent. I have sensitive skin and react to scent. It did irritate my skin just a tad but nothing like I have experienced in the past. If scent doesn't bother you then this would be a good product to try. Plus Garnier is a trusted brand that we all know and love. I would rate this product in total a 4/5. I hope this review was helpful.
Tips: Make sure you really blend this product into the skin. I used the Sigma F80 flat top kabuki to blend this in and I found it did a much better job than when I applied it using my fingers. I don't use a sponge because it carry's bacteria.
This is the first BB cream that I have used and will probably be the last. It only comes true on one of it's promises in my experience.
I have normal skin, not dry or oily and I am not prone to breakouts. The first day that I used it, I looked oily and shiny. The BB cream did not sit well or stay on my skin unless I put a powder on top, without the powder it would rub off easily.
The cream was a nice thick consistency and was easy to apply however it did not beautify my skin or give a healthy glow; it made my skin shiny and it is a bit too orange in colour for me (I am quite pale) so if I did not wear the powder on top I looked patchy and a tad off colour - not desirable.., it did keep my skin hydrated all day, but the product was too oily and made my skin breakout after a couple of days of continuous use.
There are a few positives - I do like the fact that it does keep your face moisturised all day, has Vitamin C and SPF15 - they are all good factors, it was just the look and feel on my skin which would deter me from using this product again in the future.
Tips: This cream might be ok for a day at the beach or for someone with dry skin.
I would definitely recommend this product. I always put on moisturiser before applying foundation so it doesnt look dry, and this is great how it does both. It did a good job of covering up my tired eyes and other flaws, and looked natural. Nice and easy to use
I have trailed the garnier bb cream for normal skin in a medium shade, however the shade was way too dark for me so was only able to wear the bb cream around the house. I usually have normal to oily skin. I liked the initial thick consistency of the product however when I put in on my face using my fingers it ended up being quiet easy to rub in and thinner. The bb cream did not 'dry' and felt sticky on my face all day, I removed the product and tried again using less.. You actually don't need to use much. Bb cream is quiet a light coverage but does get heavier the more u put on although I would not recommend this product for someone that likes a fuller coverage. I quiet liked the sweat pleasant smell of the cream which smelt similar to other facial moisturisers and the smell only last about 15 minutes. The bb cream did last all day although after a few hours my skin felt oily and was shinny. I wore the bb cream alone with no foundation over it or no primer under it. The packaging was great, nice easy to open box and then a tube with a cap for the actual product. Really versatile, it's bright yet simple and easy to read the writing - I would have liked to see more of a description/directions on the back of the tube though and not only on the box. I also think it's a good value for money - with it being under $20 u can't go wrong. Garnier state that it's a "miracle skin" perfector", which it is not. It did not cover blemishes at all. I personally would not reccomend this product because I did not like the feeling of it on my skin, I would prefer to use a product that u can't feel on ur skin.
Tips: Make sure if you are using ur fingers, to wash ur hands first. Also squeeze the bb cream onto the top of the opposite hand that ur using to rub in - this way is really good as u can then dab ur fingers and apply from there to avoid putting too much product on ur face
It did exactly what it said it was going to do! The only thing that I found is that it was to light as a everyday foundation for me. So unmixed it with my normal foundation. It still most definitely gave me that all day, radiant glow as is states it will on the box. Very happy with the result of this product.
I really liked the coverage this Garnier BB cream gave me as I have some noticeable wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. I used this BB cream over the top of my moisturiser (as I need as much hydration as I can get these days ;-). It is easy to apply, not too runny and I didn't notice any obvious smell. I used my fingers to rub this in and it did appear a little too shiny for my liking so I used a light coverage of powder over the top. One application is a good amount of coverage for an average day but not enough for a special occasion. I didn't try putting on two applications but I'll try that to see if it would be enough coverage for going out. It did even out my complexion and gave me a healthy glow as it states on the packaging. It also says it can correct signs of fatigue but some mornings I don't think anything can hide those bags ;-) Being a light coverage is a positive as if it's too thick it can make those wrinkles stand out even more. My skin still felt good after a full day of wearing it - it felt hydrated and not too dry or oily. The packaging states that it contains SPF15 in bright yellow so it's easy to see at first glance. This is really useful as it does influence my choice of product as I need as much UV protection as I can get. Overall the packaging is quite appealing and informative. I am really pleased with this product. It's perfect for someone like me (with young children) as I don't have a huge amount of time for getting myself ready in the morning. It's nice and light so gives enough coverage to look like you've made an effort (without highlighting those wrinkles) but not too heavy for hanging out at kids activities :-)
Tips: I think it would be really handy to keep some of this in your bag for those times you need a little pick me up - especially new mum's.
Nothing I didn't like. Was great as base or as a no make up option. The colour was a great match, couldn't tell I was wearing it. But it evened out my skin tone. Goes on nicely and felt great on. Will buy in future and recommend to others .
This has been my go-to BB cream for a while now and I just love everything about it. I think the packaging is sleek and a good size - great for storage and travel. It has a very strong smell and I can imagine that would put some people off, but for me I actually enjoy the smell, it reminds me of cleanliness. The product itself is quite runny and I feel it does take a while for the product to soak into the skin. Initially it does feel a bit greasy, but after rubbing it in a bit, waiting a couple of minutes and covering with a pressed powder it leaves my skin feeling silky and smooth. I use the shade light, and depending on the time of year I do need to boost it with pressed powder and bronzer as it is quite light. Coverage is very light, but I find it enough to wear on a daily basis. As far as the things it says it does, I do think it helps to even out my skin tone and does give a really healthy glow. With regards to 'correcting blemishes' it does reduce redness, but concealer is needed to cover up as it is a very sheer finish. I also love that is has SPF 15!
Tips: Use with concealer and pressed powder for a flawless, light coverage without looking cake
I had heard a lot of positives about various BB creams so it was interesting to test out this one. I didn't have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised! I took photos before, after one coat and then after a second to see what it was like. I think the two coats looked the best but one would be fine for every day use. It goes on really easily, a bit like a moisturiser. It didn't feel too bad on either. It was even and gave a good cover. It didn't have a strong smell and it lasted well. The packaging was simple and clean looking which I liked. I would definitely consider using this on a regular basis.
Tips: Definitely try a second coat for better coverage.
