Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I found this BB cream a bit disappointing. Although I was selected for the trial by product never arrived, so I had to go out and buy it and to be honest it was a waste of money. I wasn't a big fan of the consistency or the smell of the product, it was quite thick in consistency and just had an odd smell. I also found it didn't have very good coverage even for a BB cream, it was more of a tinted moisturiser. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but I did have quite a few spots after using this product for a couple of days which is unusual for me. The packaging is good though, and very user friendly. The shade I chose was also a good match. Overall the product was a bit of a let down and I wouldn't buy it again.

The packaging of this product offered a lot of benefits. It didn't have an overly powerful smell which was nice, perfumes smell different on everyone so no chance of smelling bad.

I trialed this product without putting on any moisturizer first. It did hydrate my skin nicely, without being left with any tightness. I didn't get any greasiness, just a hint of sheen.

The coverage wasn't particularly great, I really didn't notice much difference with just one layer. Adding a second layer after a few minutes did boost the coverage. I also found it didn't blend out very nicely around my hair line.

I asked people if they noticed any difference after I had put on the product, the response from multiple people was no difference was noticed.

I found this BB cream to be just like a tinted moisturizer so I would probably only use this on days during summer if I was heading to the beach.

The shades were a little limiting - Light is too light but medium is a lot darker, another shade in between these would be great

I recently tested the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfecter daily all in one BB cream. Having already tried out the product in the past I knew a bit about it already. I have normal to dry skin so the moisturizing particles made my skin feel hydrated and smooth throughout the day which I was very pleased about. It is definitely sheer to medium coverage as i felt like it didn't really cover up my blemishes. I personally perfer medium to high coverage for my skin when i go out as i like to cover up my freckles and give myself a flawless appearance. If i were to use this BB cream again i would also put some type of foundation on top also. As i applied it I noticed it gave me a healthy glow and stayed well on my skin for around 8 hours, after that i could see it slightly oxidiseing around the bottom of my nose where i often get dry skin. Overall i feel if you are someone who likes low to medium coverage and lots of moisture this would be an excellent product for you!

I received the light in this cream and I am very happy with the results.The packaging is user friendly and fits perfectly in you make up bag. The cream is smooth and soft and spreads easily making it great to blend around the edges. The coverage is great without being heavy and covers imperfections while also letting your skin shine through and look luminous but not greasy. The only thing I dont love is the fragrance but it is OK and not too offensive.I would definitely use this again.

I typically have normal skin which can become dry during winter. I found this BB cream to be very hydrating and it did not cling to any dry patches I had. This product has a pleasant scent which does not last long on the skin. In terms of application, the think and creamy consistency of the BB cream made it easy to apply with either a foundation brush or my fingers. The packing is fine for the price and it is easy to control the amount you get out of the tube. I received the shade light and unfortunately it was too dark for my fair skin. I could just get away with applying a small amount and blending it out a lot, or wearing it as a base under my foundation. For these reasons however, I found it only had a light coverage and did not see much difference in the evenness of my skin or correction of blemishes. I was not able to apply more and build up the coverage as it became far too dark for my skin. I like that this product has SPF in it and did find it added a glow to my skin. I would recommend this to someone with a slightly darker skin tone who wanted a light weight alternative to foundation.

This is a great product, my daughter tested this and it looked natural. She found it easy to apply for someone who usually doesn't wear makeup had a lot of nice comments from her friends at school. Good colour match for her skin tone. Not to thick it was a nice look for her it didn't look like a cake face. I would buy it for her again nice product.

I really didn't like this product. It has a unusual smell and texture. After a few days of use I started to break out, I have semi sensitive skin but I haven't had bad skin like this in forever.I didn't think it made my skin look much different at all.

I have tried many BB creams, including another one from Garnier, and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with this one. I would say I have normal skin, that tends to be slightly dry during winter so for this reason I liked the hydration from this BB cream. My face did keep a healthy glow throughout the entire day which was nice, but it was the only good thing about it unfortunately.

The SPF is too low for me for summer, yet the shade was too dark for someone very fair for winter. I've used tinted moisturisers with better coverage than this BB cream so if you're looking to replace a foundation with something is supposed to be an all in one product this is not the best choice. The explanation of a 'light touch of make up for flawless skin' is generous in my opinion. Most people who don't have "model like" skin will be reaching for a lot of concealer or adding a foundation on top for a flawless finish.

I do like that it appears to have some ingredients that are good for your skin, but the strong scent suggests that there is a perfume added which is a concern for me.

I was pleased with the results achieved with the BB cream. The tube is a good size and fits easily into a makeup bag if travelling. The consistency of the BB cream isn't too thick or too thin, and I found the coverage to be good. It applies well to the skin. I applied the cream with both my finger tips and a makeup brush and the results were good with either method. There is a subtle fragrance, not at all overpowering similar to any foundation type product. I found that adding a coating of pressed powder over the cream, took any gloss off your complexion and it was an excellent replacement of foundation for day /work wear. I would definately recommend the Garnier BB Cream for everyday use. It is easy to apply and lasts on the skin well. A big saving when using as a replacement for foundation.
