Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I absolutely have loved using this product. I have never used a tinted moisturiser before so was really impressed when I first applied it. It offered me fantastic coverage by itself and under my foundation. It smells great and doesn't feel greasy when applying or afterwards. My skin loved it no break outs, in fact I think it even improved the texture! Once it's run out I will be buying it again!!!

First impressions- the packaging of this product is sturdy, good for travelling, hygienic in the squeezy tube. I'm not a fan of dipping my fingers into products that come in pots. I liked the consistency of the product, it was just right for blending and the smell for the product didn't bother me at all. I found that the product did deliver a hydrating feeling for most of the day, the downside of this is it did leave a oily sheen to my skin. This did settle with some matte powder applied over the top. Coverage wise, it definitely smoothed out my complexion but I prefer CC creams for evening out my rather blotchy skin tone. The light colour of the product is actually a little too dark for my liking but overall I'm happy to wear this product on the weekend around home but prefer something with more coverage if I'm going out. I think this product would be excellent for teenagers just starting to get into makeup without committing to full-on foundation or those ladies lucky enough to have a fairly even complexion to begin with. Overall a good product, just not suited to my skin needs.

I found this product to be quite disappointing. It didn't really live up to what it claimed to do and I also found the shade to be quite orange, even though it is the lightest.

The consistency of this is very thick and even though it's a bb cream and is supposed to feel very light on your face I felt it to be quite heavy, my skin is usually quite oily/ normal and I found this bb cream to bring out my oily side

It also seemed to only stay in a few patches and the other parts would rub off completely. The smell of it also lingers quite a while, I prefer foundations and bb creams to not have an odour.

Overall I was dissapointed in this bb cream, for some people they may love it but for me I was not impressed at all

I have normal to oily skin and this BB cream did not help my oiliness at all. It felt like it sat on top of my face, instead of soaking or settling into my skin.

The fragrance is pleasant and the consistency is nice and creamy. The coverage is very sheer, so it doesn't hide freckles, but it did even out my redness slightly.

I wouldn't buy this product again, as I prefer a fuller coverage, and something with a more matte finish.

I bought this BB cream in light, and I was excited. It was my first and I couldn't wait to put it on. Once I got home I squirted a small amount onto the back of my hand and went to work. The results were disastrous.

As I said, I bought the shade light. It was awful. I'd never looked so orange and I was almost scared of Willy Wonka popping around a corner to try and take me back to his factory. The consistency was very thick, and rather than sinking into my skin and loving me, it moved around and made me overly greasy. It was also very patchy and didn't stick to any dry patches, opting to make all the oily spots noticeable.

I wouldn't purchase this BB cream again, and certainly not at full price, but I'd buy the sister product, the oil free version.

I've been using this as a base before I apply my foundation for the past 5 days aswell as using it as just a simple add of colour to my face when I don't feel like using heavy weight foundation ect, my skin type is normal so it didn't react or go blotchy.

I applied this using a smaller flat top foundation brush and a buffer brush to add the foundation after, the consistency was almost like mouse but very easily applied.

I would recommend this to woman that aren't quite keen on caking on foundation but are still wanting that lasting effect of the same shade skin and any red blemishes covered up.

This has a really strong perfumed fragrance. It is quite thin and runny, and would be good for people that had flawless or minor skin issues. I have redness on my cheeks and found that this didn't help hide it at all. It moisturised my skin okay, but I wouldn't skip using my regular moisturiser for this.

The cream is quite thin in constitancy and it says it will smooth out skin, I found it did not do this. I also had quite a bad break out after using this cream.

Never having tried a BB cream before , I was excited to be picked for this trial . Firstly , I liked the light weight formula that felt very natural on my skin . It blended extremely easily and felt creamy on my face . I didn't like the scent of the cream , it is faint but still very noticeable . I am very pale and fair skinned , but the Light/Fair shade of this product was still slightly too dark for me which was a let down personally . The packaging of this product in the squeezy tube is really great , it easily comes out and is small enough to take around with you . I loved that this product is more three things rolled into one , as having a moisturiser , sunscreen and tinted moisturiser all in one product is definitely time saving on busy mornings . I wouldn't use this product alone if I was leaving the house however as I have quite red cheeks and although the cream did even out my complexion aside from that , it still didn't feel like quite enough coverage for my liking . I did test this product underneath my usual every day make up as well , and found it preformed well and created a nice smooth base to begin with . Surprisingly , as I am very much a full coverage girl , I did really enjoy this product . The light weight formula , the easy smooth blending and the natural looking finish with just a hint of shine definitely makes skin look healthy and glowing . I would recommend it to others if they are looking for a lighter alternative to a full face of make up , or as a moisturising base underneath other products .

This arrived two days before I went overseas. It was the only foundation I took. Though I have to admit that I still took my moisturiser with me. I found the produce to be great when you didn't want the heavy look and I didn't even need to moisturise in the morning. It covers well and look good in photos. I would happily switch to this for every day use
