Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I received the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream (Normal) in the medium shade as I have a slightly tanned complexion and I also use the medium shades in other BB cream brands I use or have used. When I first received it I swatched it on the back of my hand against my current go-to BB cream (also in medium) and noticed the Garnier medium was much darker which worried me at first. However after applying it I found that it blended quite nicely into my natural skin tone and wasn't noticeably darker.

I found the consistency to be thick and creamy when squeezed out of the tube but thins out nicely when applying, allowing you to build up the coverage if necessary. It is a bit like butter - solid when squeezed out but melts down nicely to apply easily over skin. I actually preferred applying this with a brush or sponge as it gave me better control over how thick I was applying it. With a small application it gave me a sheer coverage with a matte finish. I had some red blemishes in the week I trialed this product and while it did reduce the redness of them, it only did so slightly and not as well as other BB creams I use would.

It is slightly fragranced but I found this to be a pleasant smell and I didn't notice that the smell lingered all day. I used this product on top of my moisturizer and also trialed it with and without my MAC Studio Fix powder which I often use to 'set' my BB cream. I found that this product lasted all day with me, whether I used the powder or not.

The product claims to give 24 hour hydration, evens complexion, corrects blemishes, boost healthy glow and provide UV protection. I felt my skin was hydrated but also noticed that the product gave a slight 'tacky' feel to the skin, this seemed to reduce over the day though. It did even out my complexion and give my skin a nice 'sun-kissed' glow which I did like. In regards to blemishes, it did reduce the redness but only slightly.

You don't need a lot to get a good basic coverage so for the price and size of the package, it is great for those on a budget needing something quick that can give a daily, natural look.

I have normal skin and found no issues using this product (trialed for a week). I don't have any negatives to report on this product but I do still prefer my current BB cream over it.

i found this product AMAZING! it went on lightly and smelt terrific, it didn't "clump" in any of my wrinkles or lines and minimized the appearance of blemishes in fact i think i have had less break outs since using the product.It kept my skin moisturized without being heavy and i now prefer this over my foundation, because it doesn't look to "makeupy" it was excellent for slapping on before the school run and i didn't look "dolled up" for running my errands.It was just as easy to apply as a moisturizer and unlike foundation i didn't have to be as precise . This is now a must have in my vanity cupboard

I trialled this product for a week. The cream is easy to put on. It hides blemishes and dark under eye circles leaving my face looking brighter. I didn't notice much if any fragrance. I has good coverage but does need to be retouched in the afternoon - which is stated on the box that this may need to be done. The price is reasonable - I have seen between $17.50 - $24 (for 50ml). The packaging isn't brightly coloured but does stand out in the black box and picture of the tube of cream on the front. The claims on the box I think fairly state what it does, it evens the complexion, 24 hour hydration, UV protection of SPF 15, covers blemishes. This product is used like a regular moisturiser with a tint in it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a natural looking moisturiser that hides redness and blemishes. I would personally use this product again.

I have pretty normal skin, my main concerns when looking for foundations and/or tinted moisturisers are just evening out my skin tone, and giving my face a bit of colour and maybe a bit of 'life' if that makes sense. I'm one of those people that as soon as I get a little bit tired I can look very pale in the face. I tend to go for what I would consider medium coverage, although I think for others it could seem quite light coverage. I found with this product that I could build it up from a sheer coverage to medium which I really liked. The finish was seemingly matte but in the light it seems to have a bit of an ever so light shimmer to it, definitely good for livening up my complexion!

The tube packaging works well for me as it was easy to squeeze out the right amount and also I have an aversion to products that come in jar or tub like containers that you are constantly putting your fingers into, not very hygienic or good for the preservation of the product . This can actually be a deal breaker for me even if the product is great especially if it is an everyday product

The consistency seemed quite thick but creamy and went on easily, I always use my fingers for foundations etc. However one morning I was in a bit of a rush and thought I could get away without using my normal moisturiser first (seeing as one of this product's functions is to moisturise) and I found it a lot harder to spread over my skin, will definitely moisturise in the future

The price is amazing considering its less than half the cost of my normal foundation, yet I have chosen this over my normal foundation even when I went out in the weekend. Great that I can just pick it up during my normal grocery shop too

I tried using this a few ways, just over my moisturiser, which didn't last the whole day for me (for me that is at least twelve hours) but nothing ever has when I do this. I have also treated it like proper foundation and primed and powdered and this lasted really well, better than some foundations I have used I feel that this product looks as good on as my normal foundation but I'm also getting all the benefits of a BB cream which is great. It does all I need from a foundation which is evening out my skin tone and giving me a healthy glow. I will not only finish the sample but will add it to my shopping list!

I have always been a fan of the smell of Garnier products. I know that is a big no no for many people and unscented seems to be the way to go these days. But I like a bit of a nice smell and this Garnier product delivers on that. I have tried two other BB Creams and I must say this is probably my least favourite out of the ones I have tried. I really wanted it to be my favourite as it is the cheapest out of the bunch...and it would go with my Garnier mositerisor. But unfortunatly it was just OK for me. Here's why: 1. It was very slippery to put on (sounds silly and not sure if that makes sense!) I found it glided very easily over my skin, but a little too easily as it felt slippery more than moisturizing. 2. It did not provide a great deal of coverage. Now this is not really a big issue because I understand the properties of a BB cream, they are not a foundation so will not cover like one. But due to it being quite slippery (as mentioned before) it felt as if I would blend it in with my fingers...then it was gone, and it didn't take my pesky skin redness with it! 3. It did not last very long. This is likly due to the reasons above, it was a slippery consistency and it did not have much coverage, so therefore it did not last very long. So those are really the only reasons why I feel it did not compare to others I have tried. Yet I will finish the bottle and continue to use it and test it out in different ways. I still like to use it underneth my foundation to give a nice base. But I just can't wear it on its own which is a shame.

I did like this product but it is not something I would wear everyday. I found it had a nice even coverage but was a bit tacky for my liking. Especially when you have to apply it more than once. It didn't have a lot of staying power.

This product is very light and easy to apply. I applied it with my fingers and it gives a sheer coverage but it gives a shiney finish. It didn't last as long as I would have hoped, I had to reapply it half way through the day. I did find that it is hard to get the right amount out of the tube - I kept getting too much.

Price wise - I think it is probably worth it but it is not a product I will buy again.

The packaging is very pleasing and draws your eye to it.

After using the product for nearly a week I would say it does do what it says. I would recommend it to someone who did not want a full coverage and that did not want to be applying moisturiser and foundation separetely,.

I have fair skin that is relatively normal, but can be prone to dryness and at certain times a bit oily, so I often find it difficult to find skin products that suit my needs completely. Upon trialling this product I noticed it has a very thick consistency, almost like a moisturizing creme and it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. Due to this I found it a little difficult to apply and blend (I used a makeup brush as I don't like the mess of using my fingers) and I felt a bit like the product sat on top of my skin, rather than being absorbed. I must admit, although my skin isn't particularly oily, I do think I prefer the consistency and overall finish of the Garnier oily/combo skin BB. In saying this however, the BB for normal skin did provide a good medium coverage once worked into the skin with a bit of effort. The finish was very dewy and I did quite like this look to give my skin a bit of a boost and radiance for cold winter days - I'm not sure I'd enjoy it for everyday use though. The product didn't have an overpowering or chemically smell and seemed quite neutral. It lasted well, 6-8 hours - which I consider pretty good for something that isn't as thick as a foundation - I did notice it wore a bit quicker around my mouth and chin though. The packaging was attractive and functional (eye-catching and a tube that meant little mess) - although I can see there may be issues down the track with getting the product out when it is running low. I think this product did what it claims - it noticeably improved the appearance of imperfections, evened out my skin tone and hydrated my skin. The only draw back for me was the consistency and the effort to blend, but I didn't feel this was too major. Based on the affordable price and visible results, I would recommend to friends.

Easy to apply and has an even coverage, very natural looking too which is great especially for a more relaxed weekend look.

First noticed the pleasant smell, most of the other products like this I have tried are not half as pleasant. Think it is maybe a shade too dark for me, but the light coverage doesn't make it look too artificial on my skin.

I would buy this product again, just for how simple it is to apply in a rush or while on the go..

Pleasantly surprised by this product! Never tried a BB cream before so didn't really know what to expect. The texture seems quite thick at first but it applies really smoothly and quite thin. I like that it's so moisturising, and after only a few days of using it my skin already feels healthier. The shade matches me really well, and the coverage is light but buildable. It lasts on me most of the day before I have to top it up with powder. My only problem with it is that it's too dewy for me, but that is easily fixed with powder over the top.

Prior to being selected for this trial, I was already a fan of the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for Normal skin in a medium shade. Have been using this specifoc product for over half a year now and I honestly swear by it.

I have slight red blemishes on my cheek area from time to time, I blush easily and have a rather large scar on my forehead. This product really does provade a nice and natural coverage of my 'problem' areas. Personally I find that I achieve a really nice complexion a few minutes after application - as I believe the moisturiser in the cream has had time to do its thing.

The formula is not too heavy and the smell isn't too bad in the product I trialled.

Afyer I have applied the BB cream I apply one coat of thin lizzy to really hive a natural look.

If you're looking for an easy fix to a few beauty imperfections then this would be your 'go to' product.
