Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I have the normal BB Cream in the colour light – first off this isn't overly light, I would say it's suitable for a light tan because it is very orange.

The product itself is a very generous size compared to some other BB Creams.

When you squeeze this out of the tube it is very thick, because of this I found it very difficult to apply, it caked when I used my hands and when I tried to blend it with a brush it went very streaky. One layer wasn't enough for me, I felt it didn't even out anything, I still had the same redness. It was my skin just a little bit orange.

I feel like I look quite oily as soon as I apply it, this isn't usually and issue for me until I get towards the end of the day and my natural oils start showing through. I was really hoping once this set I wouldn't look as oily. When I touch my face, I feel my hand sticking to it a little bit, and if I pull my hand away slow enough I can hear my hand pealing away from my face, I hate my face feeling sticky so much.

This transfers really easy, onto my phone, my hands, my top. You wouldn't want to hug anyone while wearing this or they would end up with stained clothes.

I have so far tried two of Garniers BB cream and I can say they do work great UNDER a foundation for a flawless look. I apply after primer and use a small amount, then let dry before applying my foundation and I find no need for concealer. It doesn't cake, and looks great. This is the only use I have found for these BB creams, if I hadn't of found this use for them they would have been going in the bin.

I have one more to try but I'm not very hopeful anymore.

I would say I have a combination skin type where my cheeks can get dry but my chin and t zone area can get oily. When first squeezing out this bb cream it has a somewhat thick consistency, I applied it to my face with my hands and then blended it in with a brush. I did prime before applying the product and used concealer followed by powder. The coverage is definitely light and more sheer than other bb creams I have used before, I found I had to use more concealer than I normally would because of this. I have pale skin so I choose the colour light, when first applied the colour seemed to be ok but as the day went on it seemed to oxidise and appear more orange than at first. It does however feel good on the skin but for me does require a touch up with powder throughout the day. At the moment I can not continue to keep wearing this as the colour is definitely too dark however it may better suited in the summer time.

I have found this product great for every day use. As a mum of two young children it is extremely quick and easy to use and achieves many things. It softens and moisturises, evens my skin tone, and offers SPF...although in winter now that's not so much of a concern.

I have very freckly skin so have always been drawn to tinted moisturisers rather than foundations. This BB cream really did even out my skin tone rather than cover my freckles which is good as they are part of me!

I will definitely continue to use this daily. It left me feeling fresh faced and people commented on the brightness of my skin. It doesn't have a particularly strong scent and has a smooth texture. I only needed to apply it once in the morning, but it would be easy to reapply late afternoon to refresh your look.

It is value for money in comparison to other similar products and the packaging design is not fussy and has a classic look. I would definitely recommend this to friends, in fact, I already have!

Hey guys, I used to use this product when it first arrived on shelves a few years ago but back then I had horrid skin and tried every product to get rid of it or cover it! But since I've been to a derm and my problem skin has vanished so was excited to try the product again properly :) I found it to be way better than before, good light coverage and no greasiness to it at all. It smelt ok not really any scent at all which was nice some just get right up your nostrils! I love wearing this just as a day "face" to work etc with abit of mascara. My skin hasn't reacted in anyway like breakouts or anything which I am thankful for x I'll be using this product in the future

Today as my parcel arrived I raced to the door! I couldn't wait to try my Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream -for normal skin. This product claims to be an all in 1 BB cream which was; 24hr* Hydration, Evens complexion, Corrects blemishes, Boosts healthy glow, Uv Protection SPF 15. The top of the box also claims 'Instantly Perfect Skin' which is a big claim to make! I have 'normal' skin and only occasionally if i don't use primer my nose may become a little bit oily with my foundation by the end of the day. Unfortunately I did find my nose to be a little bit oily with the bb cream quite soon after application. The consistency was fairly thick and creamy but it did spread quite well. I use my fingers the first time but was itching to put it on with my usual flat top buffing brush -I tired this the next time and did prefer it, although with a bb cream I feel like you should be able to just pop it on effortlessly with fingers or you may aswell be using foundation.. It is quite strong smelling, to be honest I can't decide if I like it or not. It is not unpleasant though. The coverage is reasonable, I personally have freckles that I don't want to cover but it was enough to give me a fairly even complexion, so i'm happy with that. I am also very pleased with the finish it is not matte and not too dewey just a perfect healthy looking in-between. It has lasted pretty well throughout the day (minus making my nose feel a bit oily) The price is reasonable for a BB cream $17.50 is what i would expect to pay. It is a 50ml bottle so it will last me a long time (I have no makeup days so i wont be wearing it more than a few times a week) The packaging is just standard nothing wow but no complaints either, it is user friendly. The only thing I would have liked more is if there was plastic around the lid for peace of mind that it hasn't been used before! I am not 100% convinced that it did everything it claimed. The statement on the box 'Instantly perfect skin' I definitely found my skin far from perfect. It also didn't correct any blemishes I had nor under my eyes. But in saying that i did love the 'healthy glow' that it stated on the box and that it is SPF 15 - always a bonus! I personally wasn't wowed by this product but i think it would suit some of my friends well so I will be recommending it to them.

This BB cream was too dark for me so i use it only on my cheeks to add some colour. Although its too dark, i love the creamy formula and it really does last all day! a little goes a long way and is very creamy. a lot of bb creams eventually get really oily on my skin but this didnt and kept my skin fairly covered all day. I would definitely but this again but in a lighter colour! also package didnt feel or look cheap but not too high end either.

I have been looking for a BB cream for a while as something I can use in the weekends rather than wearing a lot of make up.

I used the light colour and when I put it on to my hand to apply i thought it looked quite dark. I applied it to my face with my fingers because i prefer to use the heat from my fingers to blend foundation in and i found that it matched my skin perfectly, I imagine because it comes out quite sheer it would match almost all lighter colored skin.

I applied two layers and I found it gave my skin a bit of a sun kissed glow to it which is fantastic in winter, it also had quite a dewy look to it which I really liked. One of the biggest positives for me was that it is SPF 15. I am a big advocate of sunscreen and protecting the skin so it would be a great product to wear in summer!

I found it lasted well throughout the day and it came off easily using water and a flannel.

This is definitely a product I will continue to use in the weekends. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a very light coverage at a low cost.

I loved the Garnier BB cream. I found it smooth to apply and it provides good coverage more than some of the other brands I have tried. Even with good coverage it looks very natural and lasted throughout the day.

I absolutely fell inlove with this BB cream. I'm the kind of girl who always wears a full face of makeup, even at home! This product does all that it says it is going to do and I love the fact that on the days I needed to apply more makeup,it just made my skin feel soft and smooth and had a lovely glow to it. It's a perfect base for any makeup fan,under your everyday foundation or just on its own. The added bonus is the yummy smell! I have now added this to my daily essentials of must have beauty products and I highly recommend this to everyone, especially the girls who dont really like to wear much makeup but love something light with full coverage!

Unfortunately to me this is not a BB cream, it is more like a tinted moisturiser and not even a good one at that. I was excited to see the products colour and consistanly when first squeezing the product onto my hand. The light shade matched me almost perfectly and the mouse like thick formula seemed promising... but when applying it thinned out and only changed the shade of my skin ever so slightly. There was no evening of skin tone or redness to be expected with any BB Creams I have tried before. Also I noticed after it being on my skin for several minutes the colour had oxidised and had quite an orange tone to my face. Sorry Garnier I will be sticking with my Lioele at this stage!
