Washed out

So after having blonde hair for a while I decided it was time to dye my hair back to the colour I could find closest to my natural one. The colour of the dye was really good, however I thought with my hair being all damaged and all, the dye would slightly rehydrate my hair given the special oils that are supposed to not dry out your hair. This was not the case. After dying my hair went super dry and super frizzy. In addition over a few weeks my hair started to turn a strange ginger and it was as if the dye was washing out. I had been using a colour stay shampoo and conditioner but it still failed to keep in the colour. It was such a shame that my hair didn't manage to hold the dye because it was such a great colour

I agree with the wash fade even with a colour care shampoo. Perhaps the dryness etc was due to having blonde before that in my experience the damage can take a while to come for example initially bleaching the hair seems okay then it comes later on

Post-partum staple product.

These were the only pads I would use after I had my baby. The "cheapies" I was given in the hospital were nasty, and leaked a lot, so as soon as I could I switched to these. What a difference. Excellent absorbency, and kept the skin dry. Nothing worse than feeling wetness downstairs. They're extra long, which is brilliant, especially at night.

Tips: Make sure to take a pack in your hospital bag.

Thanks for this ad vice my Baby will be here soon so I'll be sure to avoid the other brands

Lovely natural bronzer without 'muddy' appearance

I think this bronzer is fab. Such a nice high end look to it. And wonderful results. It is so easy to apply (and use as a contour) And it doesn't leave that muddy look to it as some bronzers. It is easily buildable though a little goes a long way. And it has no shimmer! Which is also a plus in my book. It is also of generous size with an easy to open compact, which has a mirror inside for on the go use if required (why wouldn't it be :P) I will be purchasing again!

Tips: start off light and build it up so you don't get the whole snooki look going :P

btw shanelle love the 'snooki' warning :p x

Johanna there is a bit of a glittery look to it but it's just light reflectors that don't show as glittery on your face. Give it a try, it's gorgeous :)

No glitter in mine hun. Been using it a few weeks

ummm I have this and it has glitter in it you said there was no shimmer? I guess they must have a matte one I have not used mine yet thats why no review but it looks like it has gold glitter in mine

LA Colors Perfect Lash Mascara

When I was broke and they had the 2 for $5 deal on at the warehouse, I thought well why not aye!

I was desperate for a mascara as my DB mascara was out, I cannot go with a coat of mascara!

It's actually a really decent product!

It does give awesome lenghty lashes, not so much on the thickness but beautiful long lashes.

It didn't clump or smudge.

It lasted all day long, no fall out.

Love the big brush, I prefer bigger brushes.

Mum, my Sister and I have all used this with great success.

Easy to remove with coconut oil.

Sleek Silver packaging, nice slim line design, go for it!

Napro Palette

This is always my go-to hair dye when I am going from a disaster blonde (which I have had many over the years) back to a brown. If I have a rather "yellow" emergency and don't feel like trying to get to a nice blonde, I grab a nice chocolate brown, and wowee, the colour always comes out perfect, and you would not think that I had tried bleaching my hair (maybe more than once eek) you struggle to find any evidence of bleach damage. So simply put, the colour always comes out beautiful, it is long lasting, and repairs damage!

I have the green based one of these. Pigment is nice and buttery and has no fall out. But like every one else says the pans are too small so can only use small brushes.

I currently have the blue one in my hair I left it in over night and it has lasted aggges I keep getting compliments on my hair this lasts longer then paintbox. I like that the product is organic and used by snooki. The fading has been slower when used with a colour care shampoo.with a lower laurel sulphate. (this makes the shampoo lather) It will fade out faster with regular or anti dandruff shampoo but I think this has great staying power as long as you leave it in for several hours rather then the 30minutes which is the minmum time. I have only used one colour and I used it on the ends and mid lengths of my hair. I still have more then 3quarters of a tub left so I think it is value for money. I even put some on my sister hair hers washed out faster though as hers was light brown and dark blonde but there is still a little in her hair and its been about a month! I keep getting compliments I got mine on special from a facebook sale for $20 I used the dark blue and it has now faded to a nice light blue I do not think it damaged my hair as my hair was already damaged.

Hey hun what I did what Put it in the ends of my hair (i wasnt doing a full head) and went to my party. I let it dry and brushed it out lol and it didnt stain the pillow i think because my hair was dry or just use a dark pillow case its still in!

How do you leave it in over night & not get it all over the place? I can just imagine waking up in the morning with it all over me & my dogs lol. Any tips on that would be greatly appreciated :-)
