Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I wouldn't use this again.. whilst I found it light and easy to apply, the 3rd day in my skin started to breakout. I don't normally have a problem at all with breakouts even around that time of the month. Stopped using the product and went back to my Nivea and skin cleared up no problem

I have vitiligo on my forehead and temples also I have sun damage on my right cheek. An oily T zone with dry patches.

I liked that the cream was thick and smooth to apply to my skin, first starting with my forehead, I smoothed it over blending the cream in and down over my nose and cheeks, chin around my lips. I was surprised at how well it covered the areas where I have the vitiligo and sun damage. My skin looked flawless. As I applied it, I notice the scent of the cream, refreshingly herbal and light. Very pleasant. The fragrance faded away quickly. My skin looked smooth and felt moisturised for a long period of time and stayed on all day till I took my make up off at the end of the day. I found I didn't need to apply it heavily to achieve coverage. I used the size of a peanut of the cream to spread all over my face, so I think this product would last me a long time. I think it would economical. I think it was well priced for under $20.00. I have bought tinted moisturiser cheaper than this but I didn't give the coverage that this product did. I will continue to use it to see if it helps improve the appearance of my fine lines. I liked reading the packaging as it is. The snap top works was well, pops and clicks shut. I chose light, it suited my skin tone and blended in well into my skin. My neighbour had bought it before and said she thought it was very good.

Nice light fragrant cream that gave a very sheer coverage, concealer stick is needed as this did not hide any imperfections. Fragrant and nice feel all day long but those with sensitive skins beware as this did make me break out.

I really liked the coverage this Garnier BB cream gave me as I'm in my (early) 40's and have noticeable crows feet/laugh line wrinkles around my eyes. I used this BB cream over the top of my moisturiser (as I need as much hydration as I can get these days ;-). It is easy to apply, not too runny and I didn't notice any obvious smell. I used my fingers to rub this in and it did appear a little too shiny for my liking so I used a light coverage of powder over the top. One application is a good amount of coverage for an average day but not enough for a special occasion. I didn't try putting on two applications but I'll try that to see if it would be enough coverage for going out. It did even out my skin tone and felt quite light which is a positive. Being a light coverage helps with the anti ageing as heavy creams can obviously make those wrinkles stand out even more. My skin still felt good after a full day of wearing it - it felt hydrated and not too dry or oily. The packaging states that it 'contains sunscreen' on the front but I think it would be more useful if they specified that it is SPF15 as many products tend to do these days. I like to know the exact amount of protection at first glance and it does influence my choice of product. It also states that it can make skin appear smoother or plumper after 4 weeks use so I will be keen to see how my skin is after this amount of use. Overall the packaging is quite appealing and informative. I saw it at the supermarket today on sale for approximately $10 - I would be happy to pay that amount of money for it but will wait until I've finished using the full 50ml to see if I would be happy to pay $17 for it.

First Impressions of the product start with the packaging, which is bright and attractive. The first thing I notice about this product once opened is the fragrance, it is quite overpowering. I'm a fan of low-no fragrance in skin products so this was an instant black mark. The product was easy to apply and blend, I had the light shade and it seemed to suit my light - medium skin tone nicely. It was a great texture for my dry skin, it certainly felt moisturising and very comfortable to wear. The coverage I would say is definitely light, enough to give a nice natural even complexion without covering blemishes/imperfections well. It did have a nice radiance to it, which I expect is the 'anti ageing' factor of the product. Overall - pros -good for drier skin, natural coverage and good radiance enhancer. The cons - Not a fan of the smell, not fantastic staying power and probably not enough coverage for my liking. Would I purchase again? Probably not. There are other BB's out there with better coverage and staying power - but for the price point of this one, I think it could be worth a try if you have a more mature, drier skin.

The BB cream is in a nice small tube and there is no over powering smell. . I found the liquid quite runny and a little went a long way. It is a good price at $17.49 and I like the fact that it has a sunscreen in it. My skin did look better, but not firmer like it says it will on the package. It was easy to apply on my face using my fingers. The BB cream was invisible when applied which is great because I am not keen on the heavy makeup look. I enjoyed trying this product but have to say the appearance of my wrinkles hasn't changed yet after a week of using it

This was the first time I had ever used BB cream & I loved the results. It has a nice pleasant smell & the texture was also nice & it felt smooth on my skin. It covered up the redness patches on my face & was not drying. My skin actually looked radiant & had a healthy glow to it. I have recommended it to my friends & will make this a number one product in my make up bag .....
