Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I enjoyed using the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream. On application my skin feels firmer and fuller. I love the coverage this product gives and I only needed to use a small amount to achieve an even skin tone. The smell is neutral and not overpowering and is a good fragrance overall when you are wearing something all day on your skin. I found the product really long lasting and didnt need any touch ups during the day. I think I would need powder over top in summer though as my skin can be a little oily. I like that it felt light on my skin and doesn't seem like you are wearing a lot of makeup yet still delivers ample coverage and even skintone. Because you only need a small amount of product to get great coverage this product is good value for money.

First of all, thank you for the opportunity to be chosen to trial this product. I found this cream quite heavy for every day use and stopped using it on the fourth day. I found this cream thicker to apply than other tinted moisturisers that I have used and it stayed oily throughout the day. Whenever I blew my nose, the cream rubbed off onto the tissue - it also rubbed off onto my clothing. However, the colour suited my complexion but instead of applying it with my fingers, I should have used make up sponge - I think the coverage would have been better. I wouldn't use this particular BB cream again, but I would recommend it to my friends with dry skin but not combination or T-Zone.

This review isn’t going to be about the “miracle cream that changed my life” – in 6 days of use it’s a big ask and a bit difficult to tell whether it really has reduced my wrinkles and left me with firmer skin (and if I didn’t notice, then nobody else commented on how I’d knocked 10 years off my appearance either!)…but I WILL tell you why I liked it and why I’ll be buying it myself when I’ve used this review tube.

I use a tinted moisturiser as my daily foundation, and was interested to see how the Garnier product would fare. First thing I noticed was the pleasant smell – much better than both the salon and supermarket brand products I have used in the past.

The product also had a pleasing, thick creamy feel to it, as opposed to a slightly thinner, watery consistency of another brand I have used. It spreads in nicely and actually feels like there is something there doing its job of moisturising and covering your skin.

The tint (light) was a good match for my winter colouring…and even when I applied too much and had to work at blending it in, I didn’t look like I’d been into the fake tan! Speaking of which (and I’m still trying to get the application correct), don’t use too much, a little really does give good coverage so you don’t need to plaster it on.

Once blended in, it has a moisturising feel to it that I much preferred over another brand I have used which tends to ‘dry’ on your skin to a powdery finish. I have a couple of blemishes on my face and the product gave good coverage of those without me feeling I should also apply a concealer.

If I had to find a negative, it’s not with the product itself, but with the packaging. What I didn’t like so much was the fact that the plastic cap felt a bit brittle – I have the clumsy gene and am prone to dropping several items per day and I just know that this will end up on the bathroom tiles soon…and when it does I bet the lid will crack. A shame that it isn’t the same type of softer plastic that toothpaste tubes lids are made from.

This was light and easy to smooth on. It was a quick make up routine. Didn't get stuck in the wrinkles either! My skin did have a lovely sun-kissed glow about it, thanks to the mineral pigments. My skin also felt hydrated when I had the cream on. It did'nt really cover blemishes or red ness very well.

I don't wear make up in my everyday life as a mum but this is great. A quick wash and BB application in the morning and I am out the door. It is light, non-clogging and the subtle tint really makes you "glow". Usually with a foundation you need a concealer for those stubborn bits but not with this, just a little dab in the problem areas followed by an all over application really does the same thing in a fraction of the time and the best part is you can't feel it on your skin. The tinting is so subtle that you don't need lippy/mascara to stop the washed out look, nor do you need blusher as your natural colouring still shows through, all this with the benefits of a moisturiser and sunscreen. The one down side I have found is the smell, it is not nice, admittedly I have a strong sense of smell so smells are often exaggerated, but I did become less aware of it after a little while. The packaging is compact enough that you could easily pop it into you handbag or overnight bag, yet it is still a generous enough size that it lasts.

I was hesitant to use a BB Cream - my skin is pigmented and acne scarred. My normal routine is a 3-step process of foundation, concealer and CC cream! So the BB cream on its own was never going to provide effective coverage. But I loved the glow it gave my skin. The cream goes on evenly and smoothly and the combination of the BB Cream and my foundation is a perfect day time solution.

I hate thick heavy foundation that highlights my pores making them seem huge,after trying Garnier Miracle bb cream i found it to be very light and natural looking and covered up my fine lines and didn't highlight my pores. i have gone from wearing no foundation to using this daily awesome product

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti Ageing Silky smooth consistency & a fresh hint of fragrance made applying this every morning enjoyable, it feels nice and cool and almost awakens your skin. I only needed 1 and a half pea sizes and that easily covers my face and neck - speaking of coverage EXCELLENT, and blends really well also. As a busy working mum who is rushing around like a crazy person most days between kids, school, daycare, work and the gym I love this product, it cut my morning routine easily in half. At no time did I feel like I needed more moisture or coverage, my skin appears brighter since I have started to use the BB Cream and I am 38 with dry skin, so that was surprising to me. Really good value for money at RRP $17.95, is lasting me really well and I have already thrown away my usual foundation as won't be needing it anymore! The product comes in a great tube, compact, sturdy - I have been just chucking it in my gym bag and it's still as good as new.

In summary - I love it, easy to use, feels fresh and smooth on my skin, provides ample coverage and moisture, comes in durable attractive packaging and is fantastic value for money.

I have trialled the BB cream Anti-aging for a week now. It has a faint fragrance which is not overpowering in any way. Application is smooth and it has a creamy texture which makes it very easy to apply. I trialed the Medium shade. I have a few areas of mild pigmentation and although it helped these they were still noticeable after application. Having said that it did even out my skin tone well If you are after a thicker coverage you may need to consider concealer as well. It did give a nice illumination to my skin and I love the fact it has an SPF factor. As for the claims to reduce wrinkles... I have not seen any difference however I have only trialed it for a week so it would be a miracle cream if it achieved that in such a short time frame. Given the great price point and the benefits I have gained from it I will continue to use it.Well done Garnier for this great multi tasker at a great price!!!
