Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I have dull and dry skin and it only gets worse during the winter. I do suffer from the occasional hormonal breakout so I was looking forward to seeing whether this BB cream stood up to its claims and if this would irritate my spots. Surprisingly the cream was super thick, almost a mousse/foundation like consistency however when applied it only produced a light- medium coverage. I'm usually a full coverage kind of girl but do appreciate tinted moisturiser when I'm not heading anywhere special. So while I wouldn't replace this with my foundation, I definitely think this gave better coverage than my Laura Mercier tinted foundation. I used my fingers to blend the cream into my skin and I wouldn't recommend using a brush just because it is so thick. The fragrance was not overpowering which was a bonus. I think for it's Anti ageing claims it did a good enough job, and the product does last for almost a whole day under my foundation however there is some product transfer onto clothes etc. The only major con I would have with the product is the fact that when I put it on it leaves my face a bit sticky. You definitely have to let it set for a while or else it feels a bit heavy especially if you put foundation over the top. Overall, given the fantastic price this is a good starter BB cream for someone who doesn't want to fork out for the more expensive high end ones. So definitely give it a go!

My skin is pretty dry on the forehead and has signs of aging with brown spots and wrinkles. This BB cream was a dream. Its so silky to apply and gave a lovely light coverage to my face. It made me feel good without a foundation on top.It also lasted well throughout the day and came off easily with a cream cleanser and cotton pad. Very happy with this cream and would buy again as it is lovely to use

My skin is usually dry, shooing signs of ageing but generally has a nice texture and tone. This product is a cream that feels quite watery as it goes on but it spreads easily. I rubbed it into my skin with my fingers and that was the best part of the product. The fragrance is quite nice, not natural smelling but pleasant enough. It has a sheer coverage that really evens out skin tone but I found it quite red toned on my skin. It lasted all day and felt nice on. Its defiantly for if you want a really sheer coverage which i really like about it. I dont normally use products with an spf in them as I try to avoid the chemicals as much as possible. And thats the biggest downside of this product. It is chock full of chemicals and I wouldn't use it again based on that nor would i recommend it to a friend for that same reason. It takes something like 28 seconds for the products you put on your your skin to cross that barrier and enter your blood stream. for me the colour wasn't great and it didn't nearly make me look amazing enough to justify the chemical exposure.

Love this product! Makes a fantastic base under makeup and on is own makes my skin look healthier and adds a bit of colour while still looking very natural. I'm not sure about it's long term anti ageing as I haven't used it long enough to notice a difference in that but this is a very well priced, great colour for fair skin bb cream that I would absolutely recommend to people

I recently bought this Garnier BB Cream at the supermarket for around $14.99 which is around the price they all were. What stood out for me was the anti-ageing part of course. I have been using daily for about two weeks now and I really like it. I usually use foundation and pressed powder so it is nice to wear something lighter. I bought the medium colour as I have medium quite tan skin but could have perhaps gone a bit lighter for winter. It gives me a great glow and smells really nice and fresh too. I'm not totally sure about the anti-aging part to be honest I can still see small lines around my eyes but am still happy with the overall coverage.

I found this BB cream to be very easy to apply, it has a nice smell, and doesn't seem to react with my sensitive skin which is a plus! I wore it for the day and when I got home I still had great coverage. Overall I think I prefer the oil-free Garnier BB cream, but both are fantastic.

I usually have normal to dry skin and usually use a very heavy moisterizer, there was no need for any moisturizer at all with this bb cream, the smell is amazing and it is a nice thick consistency, I applied it with my fingers and it gave me a nice natural light coverage, it blended nicely without it making look like I was wearing any make,it lasted majority of the day and found it was much better with a second application but still looked natural,

This product is quite simply amazing. Being a busy Mum, I have to admit that I don't often find time for moisturising, let alone to moisturise AND put a foundation base on. Plus, the few times I have tried a foundation, I've found it has almost caked on leaving my skin looking worse than when it started. This was NOT the case with this product. So easy to apply and while it definitely covers the patchiness, it doesn't leave you looking like you've just put a tonne of makeup on. I'm a firm believer that the natural look is far nicer and this is what the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream delivers. I wouldn't have said though that my skin felt tighter afterwards though, but while it was on, it looked great.

Would I buy it again ? Most definately !! It's an affordable asset to any woman's handbag (or makeup shelf)

I have maturing skin, oily T Zone, otherwise normal but a bit of sagging which I hate! I was excited to try this BB cream as I hadn't heard of anti-aging one before. It was quite a thick cream and I had the Fair coloured one, the colour was perfect. It had a lovely refreshing perfume which I liked. The packaging appears to me, to be a bit "busy", gives a 'budget' look I think. I am writing this review earlier than I would normally write a review having only had the product a couple of days. The reason I'm writing the review early is that I won't be using this product again. I have used it twice. It is so very greasy, even my eye-lids felt greasy and like they were sticking together or at the very least were wet. I applied it with a quality foundation brush. It has a very light coverage, too light for me, but the cream itself, feels very heavy. Some people might say that it's ok for weekend wear or if you just want a light cover but I would be scared of it slipping right off my face without a mountain of powder over the top! It has a very 'dewy' finish, or should that be 'greasy'. I cannot say specifically what longevity is like as both times I have worn it, I have had to put quite a bit of powder on otherwise I would have simply taken it off and used another foundation. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, but it sinks into them and shows them up. I did not notice any tightening of my skin. So all things considered, I would not recommend the anti-aging one. The other types might be better, I don't know.Even though it is a relatively good price, I do not think it's worth the money. There are better BBs out there.
