Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I'm new to BB creams so I was thrilled to try the Garnier one. Usually I use foundation so I was worried this product wouldn't provide enough coverage especially for my nose which can get quite shiny. I not only used this lightly applied when at home for the day, but I wore it to work with a light dusting of loose powder (which I wear anyway). It is a fantastic product and smells lovely too. I've also tried a tiny bit under my foundation which worked well, although I will probably wear them separately in the future as it is not really necessary. This product moisturises my drier areas such as cheeks, but is not greasy on my t-zone. I love it!

Well I received this last Saturday, and could not wait to give it a go, as I unpackaged it and I squeezed a little on to my finger, I thought HHHmmmm this is a little thick, might not be any good for me as I normally use a lotion.

But I gave it a go anyway, at first I was ohh no its made me look oily, (it had too much shine) for my liking, but it did wear very well for the day, the second day I used it again then put over my normal foundation as the packaging said I could do, well I found that too much, too thick on my skin, and after a while you could see the couple of blemishes that I have.

But not prepared to give up, I tried with my thin lizzy concealer underneath it, just a little mind you, then applied the BB cream. No foundation over the top, well that looked heaps better but through out the day I found it was like slipping down my face,

Day 3 still not prepared to give up, I came up the another idea. I applied the thin lizzy concealer, just a small about once again then the BB cream over the top then I remembered I had a container of veil in my draw that I had never used, so I applied that over the top of the BB cream and WOOOW I was happy, make up stayed all day, looked as good as I applied it in the morning, did the same this morning, and still happy.

Yes I will be using this from now on, I love it, I love the texture of the BB cream its nice and silky against your skin, and its thick so a little goes a long way, will last me ages even though I wear make up 7 days a week, even when I'm home I still wear it. I also like the fact that its reasonably priced, and available in supermarkets.

This is possibly the best BB Cream that I have tried. It is very fluid and easy to apply, and a little bit goes really far. Coverage is great, much better than other BB Creams that I have tried. Unsure about the anti-aging claims as I haven't noticed any remarkable reversal of aging, or wrinkles disappearing.

I like the idea that Garnier have stopped since 1989 , testing on animals. For me and other people this is very important. The packaging is attractive and the tube is a good size. As I have sensitive dry skin the cream glided on smoothly with a foundation brush and my skin felt hydrated and soft. The cream has a lovely fragrance and hid my rosy checks and smoothed out any lines. I like it gives you an illuminating glow and it's long lasting. Price wise it is a good price.

I asked for a "medium" as in Maybelline and MAC I use "medium" and they match my skin perfectly. The Garnier "medium" was far too dark for me, unfortunately, so I didn't use it every day for the days of the trial. The one day I did use it (until I saw myself in the mirror at work and freaked out) the smell, consistency and coverage was brilliant. It smoothed lines and really kept my skin matt. I'm kicking myself I didn't go to a pharmacy and try this stuff so I could have ordered the right colour!

Found it easy to apply quite thick and creamy you don't need much. I have quite abit of redness and it gave good coverage. Lasted well during the day, didnt have much of a scent that I noticed. Seems to be good value for money. Must say it cut down on time spent putting on makeup in the morning which was great. Packaging was ok. Have spoken to family members of different ages who love this product. I would recommend it to friends

I selected the light colour as I am very fair and it is a perfect match for my skin tone. So far I am very impressed with this product. Not having used a BB creme before I was not too sure what to expect but am really happy I got to trial it.

I usually wear foundation every day (except weekends unless I am going out), but I have not worn it in the last week since I received this product!

I have found that it is quite creamy but easy to apply just with fingers, it goes on smoothly with reasonable coverage and you don't have to use heaps either. My skin does not feel "weighed down" as it sometimes does with foundation. The scent is quite nice and subtle but doesn't seem to linger after applying.

I have only been applying the one coat which seems sufficient except I have also been applying some concealer to cover the redness I have on my cheeks, and am happy with the outcome.

It seems to last the distance (not disappeared before the day is out etc), and my skin feels quite hydrated throughout. To be honest, I have not noticed any reduction with wrinkles but have only been using it for a week and it does state that after 4 weeks skin is firmer.

I like the fact that this contains sunscreen which is a bonus; and the price is fantastic compared to my foundation. It will probably last about the same length of time.

The packaging is quite nice and eyecatching too but it was a bit squashed by the time it got here but thankfully not the BB creme!

Overall, I think this is a really great product and I will keep using it. Thank you for the chance to trial it.

I was excited to try a BB Cream as I hadn't used one before. I have normal skin with no specific concerns other than wrinkles that are starting to appear. I love moisturisers and like trying out new ones. The BB cream was very heavy and creamy and very dark on application which gave me a bit of a fright. I popped it on and my face looked really brown - too brown - however after a few minutes the colour reduced and it looked reasonably natural however I did feel there was a sheen on my skin most of the day. It was easy to apply and I just applied it using my fingers. It didn't have any smell and it lasted all day but my skin felt and looked dirty rather than covered in a moisteriser. I wasn't really happy with the look though. My skin didn't look natural and after three days I felt that I had given it a good chance to test the product and conclude that for me the product didn't look or feel right. The packaging states the product reduces wrinkles, firms skin, evens, illuminates, corrects blemishes and gives 24 hydration. I didn't see any evidence of this for me. I actually felt like my pores were enlarged while wearing the product. The packaging is quite busy with lots of information. It doesn't look like a premium product because of that. In fact it makes the product look cheap. I didn't like the product personally mainly because the tinting didn't seem natural and I felt like I had foundation on when I didn't so I felt quite fake while wearing it. It was quite thick and gluggy and I didn't like that feeling. It was like it didn't know whether it was a moisturiser or a foundation.

I was a bit sceptical at first when I heard about BB creams and i've never tried to before now. I'm so glad that i've tried it and I definitely think i will keep using it from now on. Instead of just putting a moisturiser on in the mornings and going to the shops looking pale and tired, I totally look refreshed. My husband even told me I look different (in a good way:-) when I had it on. I absolutely love the smell, and the package is also very attractive -looks clean and fresh. It also covers up quite nicely and I don't need to reapply it.

I also thought this would give a break outs, but after using it for a week i had no break out what so ever and my face feels young and fresh!

The only thing that i didn't like was the consistency. It's quite thick so it doesn't apply as easily/smoothly as normal moisturiser would so i feel like i'm using quite a lot at once. (won't make me stop buying this though) Over all a very nice product and i hope it lasts me longer than what i think it will.

I have never used a BB cream before so was really keen to give this a go. Glad that I did, this product is great. Love the texture nice and creamy, easy to go on and blended very well. I usually use medium colour, this was quite darker than usual, would be great for summer. Loved it though made me look like I had my summer glow on! I have been using it everyday and found I really didn't need foundation and just touched up with my mineral powder. Skin felt moisturised all day and product lasted the day as well. Haven't noticed any wrinkles change though but will keep using a wee bit longer to see if it makes a difference. Great that has sun block added. Nice fragrance not too strong. I would use this product again, great stuff.
