Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I have been using this product for almost two years now after trying a sample of the product. Never looking back for a daily foundation! It has everything I need with the SPF, easy to apply and stays on relatively well even after the gym. I like that it lasts as well, one bottle of it seems to go 6 months or more for me!

Sadly I was not really liking this product. I found that it was very watery to use and looked like I had used nothing. No coverage a all. Plus it left a smell on my face that was quite unpleasant. I wouldn't use it again but the price was fair.

I thought I'd give the anti aging BB cream a try, I have fair skin so choose the light colour shade not the medium. The consistency of the cream was very thick and did not blend easily, i thought it had quite a sticky feel and needed quite a bit of powder to set it in place . On my skin the cream looked iridescent and covered minor flaws,I quite liked it. The problem was two hours latter the product had completely melted off my skin leaving an unpleasant oily shine. I've used it since and find it has no longevity and lI need to keep reapplying the cream.

This has a couple of shades to chose from and I am very pale so I chose the lightest, and it was still very very dark. The consistency is very thick, almost like putting a mask on. It doesn't blend well or provide any coverage, its more of a sort of tanning lotion effect? I couldn't use powder over this because it was so sticky the brush wouldn't glide on without sticking.

I picked this up, luckily cheaper as it was on sale, in a medium shade to suit my skin tone, I was so excited to try it as i had never worn a BB Cream and this was going to be first one and after reading alot rave about it, i thought this was going to be the one to suit me, Well I could not have been more wrong...

Packaging is boring, no pretty colours or anything like that on it, yes it has some information about what it does so that was a bonus, but beyond that, there was nothing about the packaging that attracted me to the product, and i normally say "at least you know your buying the product" but its not even one of those cases.

The formula was "muddy" to say the least, it was horrible and hard to blend into my skin, it was way too thick and heavy on my skin, I don't quite know hoe to describe it, i just could not get it to work on my skin, and then if I did finally work it into my skin, it did not cover anything.

I tried and tried to get this product to work but I just couldn't, I got through about half the tube after continuing to get it to work for me, i ended up throwing into my special fx makeup kit incase I needed anything flesh toned in there.

So sadly i will not buy this again, I wont recommend it either, all though price wise it is great and garnier has a great rep so I know it will suit some people.

I think it was absolutely amazing product for its price. And i cant believe it got rid of redness on my face. I would say it is a medium coverage BB Cream and i would totally recommend it to anyone.

This product was recommended to me by my sister because she loved it...unfortunately she was actually using the matte one and I picked this one up which made my face so oily and shiny that I couldn't use it without a powder!

I won't use this again as it was no good for my skin type and I hate having a shiny face!!

Once set with powder, it was fine but I think that was more due to the powder than the BB Cream.

I really like this BB cream. It's easy to apply with fingertips or with a brush, depending on how much time you want to take. It blends out nicely, doesn't require powder over the top (but you can use it if you want) and will hang around pretty reliably for most of the day. My gripe is that they need to offer a lighter shade. In the summer I can wear this just fine because my neck and decolletage tan up quite nicely. But in the winter, there's a huge difference between this on my face and the rest of me, so I actually use a completely different brand. Not ideal!

I started using this over summer as a light alternative to my foundation. I love this cream, it provides me with just the right amount of coverage. If I want to have a slightly heavier coverage i just dust a powder over the top to set it. I cant say if it has helped in anti-aging as i didnt really notice a difference using just this. I will definatly be buying this again.
