Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I love the natural mineral illumination this product gives. Some of the more expensive BB creams use glittering minerals but this doesn't its so very natural. Unfortunately I don't like the shine, I prefer a matte finish but on the plus side I did experience the long lasting moisturizing that it gives all day. Its great that it has spf15 and it did definitely tighten my skin and gives a sheer luminous look. This product does do what it says. I will have to try the oily/combination one.

Great little product, I don't have great skin, very sensitive / combination skin, so was a bit worried it would make me break out but No!!! Creamy product goes on smooth, sheer to medium coverage that lasts all day (9ish hours) great for those days I didn't need to have a full made up face : ) love also that is has a SPF. Light fragrance when applying. Would definitely use again, good price compared to other BB creams I've tried. I've only been using a week so can't tell if the anti-wrinkle properties are working yet..?

I was so looking foward to using this product as had heard so much about it. I got it, lovely packaging - liked that it told you what it was, what it does etc instead of having to look around the box for info like so many other products. Unfortunately it didn't agree with my skin - even after the 1st use, so had to stop the trial. Although I couldn't test it properly, I can see it's appeal - such an easy product to use & can just be popped into your hanbag in a hurry for easy use on the go :o)

I have pale sensitive dry combination skin and was happy that this did not irritate my skin. However, it did not seem to last all day. The texture and fragrance is a plus, very pleasant floral perfume and a smooth creamy texture that glides onto the skin. I used shade light which unfortunately was still too dark for me but was happy to see that application was very easy with a little going a far way. The coverage for me seemed to be between sheer and full depending on the amount I use, regardless of the amount it seemed to setquickly but left a shine and cakey finish which I did not like. Application did not last all day. The RRP of the product is comparable with similar BB creams at the supermarkets such as Maybelline, I believe in terms of product/price this would be a little more economical than the Maybelline. Results - the product evened out my skin tone hiding redness and blemishes as well as covering some lines. I would recommend it to friends to try out as I have nothing really bad to say about it but not a HG item for me and will continue the search for a WOW BB cream. Would NOT recommend this shade to the pale ladies though as the light is still too dark.

Firstly this product is great for the purse if you like to do touch ups throughout the day or for travelling. My first use of the product, I was surprised at that thickness, but this wasn't a negative, I prefer a thicker bb cream, as it gave slightly more coverage. The product was easy to apply, which I did with my fingers, if you are after more coverage, you could do 2 applications where you wanted & blend. Does it reduce fine lines&wrinkles;........let me know if you find a product that truely does!!!!!! I like the glow it gave my skin & it had great staying power throughout the day. Packaging is what it is, nothing fancy, but serves well for its price point in the market. I would happily buy this product again over other BB creams I have tried so far. First thing I noticed about this cream was the scent. It was quite pleasant, but strong for a makeup. I felt that it was a bit overpowering, especially seeing as it is going on the face. However, after half an hour I didn't notice it any more, or it had dissipated.

The cream went on smoothly and blended very easily. I had the 'light' tint but I have very fair skin, and especially pale in winter and found it to be a little too dark for my colour. It did even out the overall colouring, and the finer lines of my face without being too heavy. It felt nice and light and my skin felt it could still breathe.

Couldn't rate how effective the SPF was as we have had no sun!

I can't say that my skin felt any firmer or appeared less wrinkly than using my usual moisturiser, but it did feel nice to use.

The first thing I did when I received the product was check the smell. It smells similar to another skin naturals moisturiser that I tried and I wasn't fond of the scent. It smelt greeny chemical. The product was thick and went on smoothly with no problems. I liked the thickness of the product. I used the light version and it blended well with my skin tone. I only used one coat of it on my skin. on the box it does say you can do two. I just used my fingers. I meant to try using a sponge as well but forgot to. It didn't seem to leave much product in the ridges of skin when wiped off with a tissue. Because the product was creamy, I followed up with Almay wake up powder, to keep it relatively matte and free from shine for most of the day. The one day I didn't powder by lunchtime my face was feeling a little greasy. It also seemed to cause a mini break out where I don't normally get pimples, 3 small ones on the cheeks and nose. I can't see any major change on my wrinkles but I will finish the tube as it does say on the box "Skin appears smoother for 86% of women" I figure for the tubes amount, I would like to use till finished and see if it does. I have only used for 9 days so far. Over all would I use it again? due to the scent more than likely no. If they change the scent likely yes ******************************** update 27/8/14 I have been using this one basically every day and I still have about 1/2 a tube to go, It feels never ending. Has there been any reduction in my wrinkles? well not noticeably so. I prefer using my fingers to apply this, I have used the sponge but I think it just uses more of it in the sponge than on my face and I don't feel I get the coverage with the sponge that I do with using my fingers. I have increase part of my rating by 1 point to 3 on "would I use it again". I still find the smell a little off putting.

Pleasant and not overbearing fragrance, blended easily with finger tips and got a better coverage first time with a makeup brush. Moisturising but however did find that it felt heavy after a couple hours. I think there also needs to be a light colour than the light.

Also used as a base coat with foundation and did help for a even coverage and took away the shininess of the cream when used on its own.

Could not tell if the anti-agiing properties worked as not enough time however it didn't crease where the wrinkles are.

I have never used a BB cream before so was very keen to see what it could do. As a mum of 2 young children, my morning beauty routine is minimal and has to be quick. My skin is slightly on the dry side and as an over 40 year old, the wrinkle lines are starting to appear around my mouth, eyes and forehead. I found the cream to be a slightly thick consistency, but it has a lovely floral smell. When I first applied it I just dotted it around my face and blended it in which took a while but I then knew the color was right for me. I did find it a little bit drying when I applied it by itself but I had been keen to try it as soon as it arrived! The next morning I applied my usual moisturiser and then the BB cream right after. This time I applied it just like my moisturiser, a small amount in the palm of my hand, rub together and apply all over. I found this perfect, it was easy and quick to blend in however gave me the feeling of having a light makeup coverage without being obvious. I love it only comes in 2 shades as I am rubbish at picking the right shade for my skin tone. I went for light and it was the right choice for my fair skin. I have been using this for a week now and think my skin is looking fresher and the lines aren't as prominent which is a huge bonus for me! Love the packaging, the squeezy bottle is easy to use and a little goes a long way. It gives me a lightly made up look for every day wear that I really like as I am not in to heavy make up daily. At the weekend I used it as a base under my powder foundation and it helped my make up stay in place all night. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and a will be buying more when I run out!
