Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

Applying this to clean skin, I found the first application of this didn't spread easily. The texture seemed thick and didn't have the glidability I was expecting.

The next day, thinking as it was winter time and my skin would be drier than normal, or that the product may be colder than desirable too, I applied a moisturiser first, and what a difference!. Smooth, even application, with a fabulous luminous glow to my skin. Great coverage, blending in freckles and age spots.

A little of the cream seemed to go a long way, and lasted all day too. The price is favourable, and the fact that it is on offer at the supermarket makes it easy to purchase.

One criticism though, all the information is on the packaging, in small text. If a target market for this product is the more mature skins, perhaps a folded information sheet inside the packet might be worth thinking about? Very easy to use and convenient tube size though.

Overall, yes, I would use it again, and would be interested to see if in the summer heat the consistency of the cream might soften.

Skin Type - My skin is normal to dry - especially during winter. Consistency - feels a bit thicker than the standard BB cream. It feels like there is a bit of substance. Application - it goes on well, and spreads evenly. Fragrance - I can't say I really noticed the smell, had to go back to the tube and smell it! very mild and not at all overpowering which is nice. Coverage - it is more a sheer coverage, and a great base, I use with a bit of powder over the top. It gives more of a matt finish. Longevity - a little bit seems to go quite a long way. Price - yes very well worth the money. Great product for the price. Packaging - the tube is a great little size and weight, could even throw in the handbag for a quick touch up later in the day if needed. Results - I would continue to use it, I find the fragance of the anti aging one nicer, it feels like there is a bit more coverage with it. I will likely swap to this one after using the standard one. Would you recommend it - yes I would recommend it to a friend.

ok so firstly I didn't like how all the information was on the box and not a lot on the actual product, I threw the box away after reading it then had nothing to refer back to! first impressions were nice packaging, nice smell but the first few times I used it I found it quite thick and slightly greasy! possibly using too much? I have quite pale skin so found I only had to use a tiny amount before I looked sunkissed but to get a more flawless effect, had to use more which in turn made me look like I was wearing a fake tan! :( so maybe an even lighter shade would have looked better? I think the "light" shade I had is the lightest though! For me personally I would have liked more coverage as my skin is often quite blemished so not suitable for a work day but possibly more for a weekend or day off when you just want a slight "glow!" I didn't notice any reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, but my skin did feel a little firmer and did have a healthy glow! I don't think I would buy it again as I have used other similar products I prefer.

Fabulous product. I have fine lines with a normal combination skin type. Some visible pigmentation on my cheek area. The product has a creamy consistency and is easy to apply. It blends in well with fingertips, provides a good and even coverage while hydrating and protecting the skin. One application lasts the entire day. Packaging is good in a tube so just enough to squeeze and use. The product is good value for the price and I would recommend this product to a friend and purchase for myself again.

I have fair, normal/sensitive skin so I chose the light option. I found the cream very thick and first reaction to the fragrance was that it was quite strong, I prefer unfragranced facial creams. I found the cream too heavy for my skin and stopped using it after a couple of days. I was lucky enough to also trial the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector for sensitive skin and love it and have been using it every day since I swapped from this one. So for me mypersonal preference is the lighter version so that is where my skin is at. For skin that is drier or prefers a heavier cream this may well be for you. I love that these creams are such good value and eaisly accessible at supermarkets.

I'd say worth a try if your skin needs that bit extra boost.

What an awesome product. As I do not like to wear foundation every day this is a great substitute covering blemishes and uneven skin tones. However I'm not so sure it reduces fine lines and wrinkles. The texture of the product was thick and creamy but at the same time felt light on your skin and had a lovely matte finish. The fragrance was very subtle and not at all overpowering and kept my skin hydrated all day. I think this product is certainly great value for money compared to other B B Creams I have used and will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Over the past few days I have been visiting someone in hospital and found useing Garnier BB cream very quick and easy as no waiting around for moisturiser to dry then applying my normal foundation. It went on very easily and I loved the texture, however I found it quite orange which was a shame ,would I use it on a daily basis ....No.. noticed it turning patchy around my nose and mouth area which wasn't a good look, but would definetly use it in summer on our boat as it has a sunscreen and also just the right amount of coverage for me.

I love it. First BB cream that I love to use without saying it does not match my skin tone because it does!!!. I was given medium shade. So if you are Indian fair than this cream is for you. The constancy of this cream is thick. Easy to apply on face, I dnt had any problem. Good to wear under your face powder or foundation. I have notice it wont cover my dark spot and perfume is quite strong for me and it last few hours. Overall I love this product and I will buy it as my BB Cream.

I opened it up and smelt it first.

I don't like the smell. I am not a fan of scented facial products. Especially ones with such a strong fragrance.

I then swatched it on my hand...

My first thought of the colour was 'oh I've been sent a medium'. Cause that is dark.

So I apply it like a moisturiser. With my fingers.

Product melted into my skin with ease, but that smell ugh!

Looked in the mirror and yeah it was definitely too dark for my skin colour.

It did not sting. Which was great.

BB Creams are very pigmented , I was expecting a lighter more sheer colour.

The texture of the BB Cream is thick and I like that alot. Better than runny.

It did slightly even out my skin tone, my skin appeared soft, smooth, brighter maybe?

Lasts well throughout the day, although the colour is still apparent it's too dark.

I even wore it with a light dusting of mineral powder. Looked ok. For a natural look. Still too dark... :(

All in all good product I just wish it was unscented and lighter in colour. Why would light be so beige looking??

My skins appearance seems better , slightly better.
