Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I really liked this BB cream! The cream itself was thicker and more heavier than I anticipated it to be, however when I had blended it into my skin, I really liked the finish - it was a dewy finish and the 'light' colour matched my natural colour well. I think with another layer it would start to look quite heavy on my skin.

It definitely does hydrate the skin like it claims to which is beneficial to me as I have dry skin. I have a spot on my chin currently but the BB cream didn't correct it like it claims to - I still had to put concealer over the top.

The product says that it is fragrance-free but there is still a slight smell to it. I didn't really notice any illuminating effect from the cream like it says there is. The longevity of the cream is really good - I went for a long walk while wearing it and it stayed on and didn't become patchy in placed. The cream did stay to the dray spots on my skin though.

All in all, this is a good drugstore BB cream that mostly claims to do what it says it does. I would consider using this instead of a sheer coverage foundation for work.

It does everything for me that they claim it will. I love how bright and fresh my skin looks after using this product, it does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin. The scent is light and pleasant. It's also moisturizing enough for the winter.

This is probably my top BB cream yet. I've found that it has enough coverage to hide my uneven skin tone, but doesn't require primer, and I applied it without my foundation brush. It was also gentle on my skin and I didn't come out in a rash which was a plus! I always tone and moisturise so I can't tell how hydrating the formula is. I found the formula quite thick and it did seem hard to blend if it got in my eyebrows. Overall I'm impressed

This BB Cream certainly stands out from the crowd, as I am naturally very fair skinned, this one suited me perfectly. It didn't make me look orange after one application (Like others tend to do), and I was able to add another layer just to further help with minimising redness.

I applied this with a standard application sponge (from the supermarket), then applied Thin Lizzy powder afterwards, though I really didn't need to at all!

When first applying the cream it was what I would deem to be a medium thickness, but also creamy, and easy to spread. This BB Cream did not have a fragrance which was nice, as I do find fragrances can irritate my skin. I liked this, as it meant that I was able to wear my own perfumes without having the smell of the cream being overpowering/clashing with what I normally wear.

This BB Cream definately does reduce redness, and is soothing to the skin. It did hydrate my skin, however did seem a little too moisturising in my problem (oily) zones. It minimised the scratch I had at the time, however I found that it didn't cover blemishes for me. I would still recommend a concealer should your skin not react with them (I haven't found one yet for me!)I noticed that my skin tone was far more even and I looked like I had a much brighter complexion!

Loved the BB Cream, and was so pleased I didn't look like I was Orange/severely discoloured, made me feel like it just gave me enough cover, without smothering my skin.

In finishing the Garnier Sensitive BB Cream is priced about the same (but slightly lower) than normal BB Creams, and is available in the Supermarkets with ease.

This BBcream has a lovely texture, blends well, smells fresh/maybe slightly like sunscreen (but not offensive at all), leaves skin soft and smooth feeling.

It does not have much coverage at all - and any coverage it does have pretty much disappeared within and hour or two on me.

Good for those with pretty perfect skin to start, but I would not recommend for someone that needs a little more help in the coverage area (unless you team it with concealer/powder also). Ideal for those days when you don't really need makeup.

My only gripe & its more of a personal one is that I am allergic to 'salicyclic acid' and the sensitive version of this BB cream has it.

I have the Anti-Ageing version of this BB Cream and from what I can see it doesn't include salicyclic acid.

I prefer the Anti-Ageing version, and will buy the Anti-Ageing one again as it does everything this one does but without the blemish fighting ingredient - which I personally don't need anyway.

I've got really sensitive skin, so I was pleased to discover that this product did not irritate my skin at all (I'm sure all you sensitive skinned girls know that feeling all too well!). I got the light one and it was a perfect match with my skin tone. It was easy to apply using my finger and I found that I didn't need to use too much to get an all over even finish. It looked good and gave a good smooth finish. I tried it underneath foundation as well and thought it was a bit too much, but it did make my foundation stay on longer. I'd use this product again for lazy Sundays at home when I don't want to put on a whole face of makeup but want nice smooth looking skin. I did try and use this product with blush and bronzer and I thought it looked a bit crazy - I think it is much better left on its own, with a touch of mascara and a smiley face! I'd definitely use this again!

I have very pale skin and upon application for this I had to only apply the smallest amount to ensure I did not turn orange. For a light colour its still quite dark. The scent of the BB cream was fresh and smelt nice. The full coverage lasted for only 2-3 hours and that was even with a powder over top.

My very first impression when squeezing this out was ........woah, very watery. Unlike other BB creams including the Anti Age range of Garnier, that are creamier, I wasnt expecting it to come out so fast. The application of it was much the same where it seemed watery on application also. Following on suit with the wateryness of the product, it was a very sheer cover. Very light but also very sheer. As this was so sheer it was hard to see if this lasted the distance of the day as it claims. Definetly parts of my face looked smoother but the spider veins definelty still showed through. I must admit I was quite impressed that something so light still had an SPF in it, which is a great feature for someone just wanting a very light touch of cover but with the added benefit of sunscreen. My personal preference is a slightly thicker cover but I would not hesitate to use this as a quick base before adding some mineral powder to it. But I have very small broken capillaries and this failed to cover these and I would prefer my BB cream to at least cover these. I dont this is the BB cream I would be buying in the future - I might recommend this to someone who wanted a very light cover

I was really excited to be part of the trial team for this wonderful product -I was sent out the Light / clair shade, I found as soon as I put it on my face both my cheeks went quite red, It showed no sign of change to my face so it del like I was just putting on a moisturiser, I however find it easy to apply but there was just no coverage, I feel the shade I have may have a lot to do with the fact I didn't notice anything different, I used it instead of my normal foundation and did my usual powder on top and it made me look quite fair, I would really like to give this product another go as it would be so neat to keep in my handbag for emergencies so I am going to try it in the next shade and see if that makes a difference.

This product worked awesomely well. I have pale skin and it is quite oily and sensitive. I often find that after wearing make up for a couple of days my skin drys out quite badly so I often don't wear any. This cream did not dry my skin out or cause an outbreak. It is so easy to apply and lasted well. The coverage was good but I needed two applications. It just lifted my skin tone enough so I didn't look pale. I break out often but my skin looked really great and did not break out while using this. Great everyday product that I would use again.
