Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

Received this bb cream last week from BR (thanks ladies :D ) I was so excited i did a little dance, sadly the excitement was short lived.

Tried it on straight away, coverage was that of a tinted moisturizer, it isnt the amount of coverage that i would expect from a standard bb cream. The product moved around on my face and didnt sit nicely on the skin, instead it sunk into my pores and fine lines making them more obvious :( I have rosacea on my cheeks and jaw line and this bb cream did nothing to cover that as most tinted moisturizers wouldnt, but to give it a fair try i applied two layers hoping to build the coverage, sadly the coverage built in random areas of my face (around my nose, eyebrows, hairline, chin, and the outer corners of my eyes) And the previous layer i had applied to my cheeks had moved about and the product that was sitting in my pores and fine lines was even more obvious, and my rosacea was now showing through in patches.

determined to give it a fair go, i finished my makeup and went out to town (I didnt powder as i wanted to see how it lasted without powder) It was raining and as soon as i stepped out the door the test was all over. basically as soon as water touched my face, the bb cream washed off. it actually turned the water into a white murky mess and then dribbled off my face, the only reason i knew it was coming off was because all the water landed on my black shirt.... oops lol.

i gave this bb cream to my little sister who has reasonably good skin anyways and told her to set it with powder. lets hope she has a better experience with it.

I'd never even heard of BB creams before this trial - now I am hooked. I have sensitive skin - which is sometimes red around my chin and flaky around my nose. This Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Sensitive was amazing - much better than any of my existing tinted moisterisers or foundations. It provided excellent coverage and didn't irritate my skin, in fact it has made it better since using it!

Is a great cream. Goes on smoothly. Isn't sticky or messy. I recommend it too others. I'm not much of a makeup kind of girl but I would wear it maybe once a week. It looks and feels like you having nothing on your face at all. People couldn't even tell I makeup on. Great for people with senstive skin.

I really enjoyed this product but my skin has been having a "good" phase at the moment, the coverage is light enough for work that I don't feel caked up all day. The colour is perfect on my skin tone but I can see how it could be too orange for others. I have been applying this with my fingers as it seemed to go onto my skin more evenly than with a brush. I don't know if illuminates the skin, but I am happy that is SPF and it will be good for my holiday, where I want light coverage.

It doesn't hide blemishes but for a light coverage BB cream I wouldn't expect that. For the price it does ok.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product - it was the first BB cream I have tried and was excited to see if BB creams were as great as they have been made out to be. I have sensitive skin and some products react and make my skin go red. I found this cream didn't make my skin react at all! It has a nice creamy consistency that is easy to spread across your skin and left my skin feeling hydrated without being oily. After a few days of using this cream my skin tone became more even,had a lovely glow and my blemishes started to reduce.

My only complaints about this cream was it gave minimal/sheer coverage - this is fine for me in the weekends, however I prefer more coverage for work. I also found this product did not last long on my skin. When applied in the morning by lunchtime most of it had worn off. Using foundation over the top or setting powder helped but still did not last all day. I like my moisturisers to have some SPF in them to protect my skin against sun damage and this cream had an SPF15 which is great - however the cream did have a faint scent of sunblock to it, but it did fade shortly after it was applied to my skin. My last complaint was the colour - I tried the light colour as I have fair skin (often use nude/ natural beige foundation colours) and found it bordered on too light for my skin tone. Using a bit of foundation/powder over the top did help correct this.

Overall for the price I think this is a good product to replace normal moisturisers and made my skin look more radiant and evened my skin tone more than a normal moisturiser would. I would recommend this product to someone who wants a BB cream that works without having to spend a fortune on it.

First of all I would like to thank BR and Garnier for allowing me to trial this product!

I used this BB cream for four days. It goes on very easily. The first day I wore it just over primer and with concealer on top, no powder. I put on two layers and waited around five minutes between layering. It feels nice on the skin and doesn't dry to be tacky. It evened out my skintone however the coverage is very sheer, great for those just wanting minimal coverage. However by lunchtime my face looked like I hadn't applied anything to my face at all and all my redness was showing through. With powder the weartime is increased, however not by much (day two). My skin did feel a bit more hydrated but sunk into my dry patches (under eyes and chin) and completely melted away.

Day three I tried it as a primer for my foundation, and it worked great. I will keep trialing it as a primer because on it's own it doesn't last. But as a primer it evened out my skintone and reduced the redness so I didn't need to conceal after applying my foundation!

The great thing is that it did not break me out like a lot of products do, in regards to the sensitive aspect it does very well. The packaging is great, I love the flip cap and it is very easy to control the amount that comes out. I also love the fact that it has SPF protection.

Would I buy this product again? I would buy it only to use as a primer under my foundation. At the price, it is still a cheap primer! It gives my foundation a dewy finish and makes my skin look really hydrated :)

Would I recommend? Absolutely as a primer to give foundation a dewy finish, however if you are looking for a full coverage or long lasting BB cream then I do think there are better BB creams on the market. Prior to this trial I didn't think very much of Garnier's cosmetic range, however this BB cream has surprised me in a positive way and I am really keen to try out other products from them.

I have yet to jump on the BB cream trend, I like quite a full coverage foundation so BB creams don't really interest me to much. This is the second BB cream I have tried and I do prefer it to the other BB cream I tried (maybelline dream fresh bb cream) as it had a bit more coverage. I tried this product alone and as a base underneath my foundation kinda like a primer. The formula was easy to put on and did not bother my sensitive skin. I did find that by the end of the day my skin looked a bit oily and as I usually have dry skin this was unusual for me. If you are oily at all I would definitely suggest using the one for oily skin! Overall I found it ok but It still hasn't converted me to using BB cream for day to day wear. I think I will save it for 'make-up free' days around the house

I was thrilled to receive my trial of Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream: Sensitive (Light). I have skin that can be very sensitive to new products, brands and fragrances, so even though I had been sent the 'sensitive' BB cream to trial, I was still a little nervous. Having trialled this cream for over a week, I can honestly say that I would happily keep using it. The packaging of the product makes it very easy to use and apply the amount you would like, and the consistency is creamy and glides onto your skin. I applied the BB cream using my fingertips, and found it was easy to blend and didn't leave any hint of a make-up line. 1 application gave sheer coverage: giving a make-up free look, while also smoothing skin tone and reducing the appearance of blemishes or freckles. A second application gave a more 'made-up' look, although still subtle in the appearance of make-up. Generally, when applied in the morning, the BB cream lasted a whole day. During the trial, I had a cold and was impressed at how it did not seem to enhance the look of dry skin. When wearing the BB cream for work, I also applied a little foundation over top, and a hint of cream blusher to complete the look. This seemed to enhance the longevity of the cream. The only difficulty I found was that when applied over moisturiser, the BB cream sometimes had the tendency to rub and clump when I was applying it. I was a little sceptical about the product's claim to smooth skin tone and reduce appearance of blemishes over time, BUT having now trialled it, I have noticed an improvement in my skin. My skin is softer, more hydrated, and does appear more even (even when not wearing any make up). I would definitely buy Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for myself, and recommend it to a friend, particularly if they like a more natural make-up look.

I have the shade Light/Clair. This BB cream has its highs and lows; Great feel, Light and easy to put on minimal coverage, gets oily after a while and slides around on my face.

I used the Garnier BB cream regularly over the last week. I found the BB cream suited my sensitive skin. It has a good light, non oily, moisturising texture. The BB cream is excellant if you want very little coverage and if your skin is already close to perfect. I found when I tried to layer the BB cream it flaked off very easily. So the third time I wanted to test the two layer coverage I waited for 2 hours before I touched my skin. Yet I found the BB just flaked off. I would not recommend this product if you want full coverage but if you want a light tint to your sensitive skin, this is the product for you
