Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I really wanted to like this product, it is made for sensitive skin so I thought it was right up my alley but unfortunately it just really did not work with my skin.

When I first received and tried the product my skin was recovering from a massive break out so I thought it would be the perfect time to test a product made for sensitive skin. Within two hours of using the product my face was itchy and irritated and my blemishes were kind of burning so I removed the bb cream from my skin. I tried it again the next day and it did the same thing so my skin was obviously too sensitive to use this product (I had been able to use long wear foundation without any problem though). I let my skin settle for a few days and then tried again, this time it was much more successful, it blended much better into my skin and my skin was not itchy nor did it burn (thankfully!!).

The problem I have with this product however, is that it doesn't really set on my skin at all so it just feels oily. I also found it to be not as hydrating as it claims to be and really emphasized any dry/flaky skin (I have dry/combo skin). Ultimately though the colour is what did it for me. It is only available in two shades and as I have very very fair skin, the light shade is just way too dark on me!

On the positive side it had a really nice thick consistency and blended nicely into my skin once my skin settled down after my nasty break out. It had a faint sun block scent which went away after a while and really didn't bother me. It is fairly light on the skin and has very light coverage. It definitely covered up some of the redness on my face though and would suit those who don't need much coverage or for those who just want to throw something on and be out the door. If there was a shade that suited my fair skin then I would definitely continue to use this product.

All in all I have mixed feelings about the product because of the initial experience I had. The formula doesn't really seem to be for sensitive skin although it might just be that my skin is extra sensitive. It would be much better if there were more shade choices as I have never found a bb cream that is the right shade for my fair skin and the light shade was way too dark. It's not a bad product it just didn't really work for me unfortunately!

I first used the garnier BB cream when it came out but was not impressed with it.when I heard about the sensitive version I had to try it.i have to say I am impressed by this product.the product hydrates and evens skin tone.the coverage is not great but good for a BB cream.i would definitely recommend it for winter season as I think it might be a bit oily for warmer seasons.it lasts 4-5hours and then I have had to touch up with a powder.it is not thick in consistency so is easy to apply.i would definately be using this product in the future.

Ive never tried this products before, heard all about it but never got it for myself.... Now I think why didn't I buy this perfection in tube earlier?

Its amazing! I stopped wearing makeup a few months ago and probably wont again! Who needs makeup when you can have BB Cream! And what makes it even that little bit better is that it works well with my Sensitive skin. I didn't get a rash like I do sometimes with curtain products. My skin is not oily at the end of the day anymore, it evens my skin tone to a 'T'. and it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. My faces new best friend.

I have never used a BB cream before, i just use a little bit of mineral powder and a touch of bronzer. I have sensitive, fair, combination but clear skin. (no Blemishes) I found this BB cream to be quite thick and creamy in consistency, slightly a little heavy for my liking. I used my fingers to apply it and because i normally use a powder and brush i didn't particulary like this. One good thing is that it didn't have a smell which is great and i had no stinging or a reaction to it, so thats a plus! :) I used my mineral powder over the top of the cream as it had too much of a dewy finish for me. I did find it made my T zone slightly oily by the end of the day which i didn't like as i do prefer a slightly more matte finish. I think if i wanted something for a little cover with out a lot of other make up on it would be ok. I don't like the idea of having to add heaps of layers to get coverage as it feels more heavy on the skin. I think i'm sitting on the fence as to whether i would use again.

Honestly, how did I cope before this came into my life! It's quickly replaced my foundation for when I feel like a 'make-up' free day and looks so great, it does what it says it will do! It evens out colouring and is just enough coverage to make me feel confident when I step out.

I will definitely be using this again!

I've been using the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil- Free since I discovered it last year, however because I have dry, sensitive skin I thought it'd be great to try a version meant for my skin type. I was terribly disappointed, not only did it feel like a tinted moisturiser with a severe lack of coverage it was also extremely difficult to apply. I tried a variety of techniques for applying it, from a Beauty Blender to a stippling brush and even with my hands there was no technique I used which made it glide on and look flawless. From the moment I applied it, it started to gather all around the dry sections of my face, particularly around my mouth and eyes, looking so unappealing I removed it within 5 minutes and went back to my old favourite. I will not be touching this BB Cream again.

This is a fantastic bb cream. It's light weight with light to medium coverage. It worked well at evening out my skin and provided a great base for my foundation. I used a brush to apply it and it blended easily. I also found it helped my foundation last a lot longer and because it's good coverage I found I needed less foundation. It's also very moisturising and feels good on the skin. I wouldn't wear it without a powder though as it is very shiny and doesn't last as long on the face. Overall I really liked this bb cream, it's a fantastic product and as a bonus is sold in the supermarket for a decent price.

I've never been a big fan of Garnier and unfortunately this product didn't change my view. I have combination/oily skin which can easily flare up with the use of new products. The formula was light and silky with a nice moisturising feel. It applied like a moisturiser and glided on with little trouble. Unfortunately that is where the positives stop. The coverage wasn't great and it left my face shiny and greasy feeling. Considering I used the lightest shade I found the colour to be far too orangey and unnatutal. By the ens of the day my skin looked patchy and far from perfect. I don't think the product lived up to expectations and I certainly didn't see a miracle!

This product is really great. At first I was a little hesitant as the bottle said light and the colour of the cream looked quite dark for my skin tone, but it blended well and matched my skin tone perfectly. The coverage wasn't as good as a foundation on it's own, but is good for everyday coverage. The texture of the cream was quite oily, but provides a matte finish once applied to your skin. After a week of using the product, I found the condition of my skin to be softer, with less redness. Overall this is a great product for everyday use, and reduces the need for a separate moisturiser and foundation.

When I first opened it I noticed the BB Cream was very thick. It was in a cute easy bottle and smelt rather nice

The first Time I put it on, I found the thickness of it really had to blend in evenly, it ended up being blotchy (I used a flat top brush). I took it off before I left the house because It felt heavy and didn't look 'flawless'.

I tried it again, this time I used a primer underneath and it seemed to work better, I felt like it absorbed more into my skin rather than looking thick on top of my skin. So I left the house wearing it :P

I also noticed it did not correct my uneven skin tone, my redness was still very noticeable, and other BB Creams of similar price or even lower (MUA BB cream & Australis CC Cream) work much better than this as well as having the same results everytime.

For the sensitive part, I noticed it didn't affect my skin (which a lot of products do) so that was rather handy.

I think the colour and texture of it needs to be looked at again because it has potential to be a good product but for now I would not buy it, use it or recommend it at this stage.
