Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I love using BB cream on days where I don't want a full face of foundation but want something to even out my skin tone. I loved this one, I thought it gave great coverage, doing a great job at hiding the redness on my cheeks. It also felt light on the skin which is something I look for in a BB cream and it also was hydrating without being too greasy. My sensitive skin didn't break out with this (which it has with similar products in the past) and there was no irritation, which is a huge positive for me. The price an packaging is great, I love the squeeze tube, keeps things hygienic and the price is pretty good for the product. Overall I loved this product!

I have not been a fan of tinted moisturisers but this one is different. Easy to apply and it blends in well. Feels light, definately evens out my skin tone, reduces redness and it is not greasy. My sensitive skin would normally break out after just a couple of days using other similar types of product so I was a little skeptical at first about trying this one. However, even with six consecutive days of use my skin remains blemish free. The only issue I have found is that though some areas of my skin feel soft and hydrated other areas have been dry and flaky. I love the fact I can wear this product daily without 'breaking out', so it is a 9/10 in my books.

Ugh this is my go to bb cream the texture is thick but goes onto your face so nice , it's not the best for full coverage but it's great for if you just want something light to put on , the retail price isn't to bad either I would pay that much for it , it lasts a while and it isn't harsh on my skin and I have very sensitive skin . Over all in love it :)

I only discovered BB cream late last year, I tried a few variations, from cheap cheap to the more higher end, this Garnier one is in my opinion, the best one out, it gives a lovely coverage and finish and a nice glow without looking like you rolled in doritos, its a great mid price of around $15 and lasts ages, I use almost daily.

I like the tube, smell and texture of this product but I found it gave me acne in my t-zone and cheeks after the first use, i tried it for a week and now ive got acne and am spending a week makeup-free to settle my skin down. I rubbed this product on like a moisturiser/sunscreen but found it sat on the skin and was very easily wiped off. Also if i had any products on under it (zoner, moisturiser) i found it clumped together and just slid off. When i did manage to put it on so it looked ok there was still redness showing through it which was a shame. But it did make my skin tone on the whole look more even. Unfortunatly i was also left with dry patches of skin on my cheeks and around my eyes after using this product. It feels like a cheap alternative to foundation/sunscreen and I felt that actually using the individual products this on claims to be would be more beneficial..

I have sensitive/combination skin which makes it hard to find the right face products. Garnier BB cream glided on my face - so smooth and the coverage was great although I had to reapply on my chin as it was starting to flake. BB cream did not feel as light as I wish a foundation to be but it was definitely not the worse either. It had no shocking smell :-) Thank goodness. The price and packaging is great - no complaints there :-). I do not wear make up every day therefore I would recommend it to people but for the long term use with the result of nourished skin with reduces redness and even skin tone, I can not comment.

Propylene glycol may cause eczema. Stearic acid may cause allergic reactions. Glyceryl stearate may also cause allergic reaction. Phenoxyethanol may cause mild irritation on sensitive skin. Methylparaben and Ethylparaben may cause irritation and dermatitis in some people. Aluminium hydroxidehas strong evidence of neuro toxicity and function alterations of the blood-brain barrier they also suspect respiratory toxicity. Disodium EDTA may cause allergic reactions.

Overall I was impressed by this product, the application easy to apply and smooth on your skin. The colour, after rubbing it in well, matched my fair skin, and it didn't irritated it like some other BB creams, so was ideal for my sensitive skin.

I was really looking forward to trying Garnier's BB cream for sensitive skin (light) however overall, i am not terribly impressed and would use/purchase a different BB cream brand in the future. This BB cream smells like sunscreen. I really like that it has a good spf rating to protect my skin during the day. I have tried applying it with a brush, which is probably better than fingertips which i opted for today. When using my fingertips the product didn't apply particularly well and i felt like it sat on top of my skin in some places rather than blending in well. It's a really creamy texture which is really nice and was suitable for sensitive skin. The packaging is nice, and handy to throw in your handbag. i could imagine it would be perfect for summer at the beach, etc. The downsides: I felt like this product was very shiny and needed powder to tone it down a bit. I also do no like the colour - the 'light' colour is the best match for me tone wise, but it was too ashy and left me a bit dead looking as opposed to bright and radiant which it promises. The ashy colour it gave me skin tone is he main reason i would not purchase this again. It might be better if you lay it down first with a foundation better suited to you tone on top of it? This morning i could not leave the ashy coloured BB cream on its own so i put some Benefit Big Easy cream on which is more pinky in tone, and it came out a lot nicer.

This product delivers on what it says it will do. It is a lovely creamy texture which does glide on to your skin in a nice way. It definitely provides moisture with a touch of colour, which is great for someone wanting a light coverage. No fragrance is a nice touch, for us sensitive skin types. I did find when I applied a little too much, it became dark quickly and a bit unnatural looking.

So in love with this product. I was always hesitant when it came to BB creams, just because i love the full coverage look that my foundation gives me. I tried using the cream in a few different ways, on its own as a light foundation. This was perfect for going to the shops or popping out for coffee with friends. It made my skin feel heavily moisturized which i love as my skin can sometimes appear rather dry. But for the evenings and at work i need more of a full coverage, so this BB cream worked perfectly as a primer or concealer before applying my foundation. I found that taking off my make up was easier as well. It really evened out my skin tone, as i suffer from very rosy red cheeks this was such a delight to see. I found that using this as a primer or a light coverage foundation just worked for me. My skin has cleared up and I no longer have as many dry patches! Yay to hydration! Would 100% purchase again and would recommend to everyone. Having sensitive skin makes me wary of trying to products but I have suffer no side effects. No burning and redness, No breakouts, no drying out of the skin. So in love with this product. Officially a makeup bag essential
