Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

My skin type is combination, and I get oily around my T zone and have dry spots on my cheeks. I enjoyed this product and thought it went well with my skin type. I suffer from some redness which it says it reduces, but I didn't really see a difference apart from a little more even skin tone. I also own the BB cream by Maybelline and found it to be quite similar the only difference being that Garnier's BB Cream felt lighter on the face which I preferred a a lot more than Maybellines.

I would repurchase this item because its good for days when I don't want to wear to much or to little and has the right amount of coverage as well as a nice creamy smooth consistency which is easy and quick to apply. The product lasted the day which was amazing without me feeling gross by the end of it. I like that it is non fragranced because it feels more natural on the skin.

The packaging of the product is a plastic tube,which is hygienic and helps to squeeze out the required amount of product. The cream is lightly scented,which I found to be quite citrusy and awakening. The cream is light brownish in colour, and spreads evenly on the skin.It gives a very light coverage, and makes the scars on the face not so obvious.It is a great product if you have flawless skin and want a dewy finish or a fresh no make-up look I enjoy using this product because I am not a fan of foundation as I find them too heavy, and breakdown after few hours. Whereas this product is very easy to apply and won't look me wonky after a few hours. Although I use several layers of skin care before applying Garnier BB Cream, the finished look is still nice and fresh, and not all caked up. This is a must have.

This does everything it promises, evens skin tone, stays on and best of all for someone like me with sensitive skin I didn't end up with little bumps all over my face from it. I tried it for 5 days in a row, just in case. With other foundations/tinted moisturisers my skin has flared up after 2 hours, but with this nothing! It's a thick, creamy texture and while I didn't like the smell it only lasted a few minutes. Also I was surprised by how little I needed as a little goes a long way, this is going to last for ages and so definitely value for money. I'll definitely be buying this again.

I was nervous of using tinted moisturiser as I thought it looked quite dark and would not match my skin. But, it rubbed in well and did seem to hide some blemishes. The product doesn't really smell and the packaging is nothing exciting but I like that it is in a tube as you waste less than a pump bottle. I have dry sensitive skin and found it kept my face feeling well moisturised all day. As this trial was done in June I can't comment on the spf effectiveness other than to say it is an added bonus.

I am always very cautious with foundation due to my sensitive skin so don't often try anything new. Love the packaging, it reminded me of something fresh and summery. I would prefer it was in a pump bottle, however that is minor. When I first tried it I squeezed out to much so looked a little bit overdone, the texture is a light cream feel and it was more me not being used to a tube that caused my mishap,but on the second day I used a little and used a foundation brush. I love it. It gives good coverage without feeling like you have foundation on. I got medium and it blended perfectly, and easily without tide marks. I have not reacted to it at all, which is unusual for me! It is not really scented which appeals to me. I will be continuing to use this product for my daytime foundation and strongly recommend it for those of us with truely sensitive skin.

I'm a BB Cream freak - I've tried half a dozen of them in my quest for the ultimate "beauty balm" that can do everything that it claims to do.

Recently I found my "holy grail" BB cream and since then I haven't tried another. Until this little beauty showed up in my mail box! I chose the sensitive formula as I have very reactive skin and can develop rashes when I try new products that are overly perfumed or contain harsh ingredients. I'm also prone to breakouts and scarring so I wanted to choose a formula that wasn't going to aggravate my skin in any way.

First things first - the scent. This BB cream smells just like my Invisible Zinc tinted day cream sunblock. I'm assuming (I didn't read the ingredients on the box before I threw it away) that the sun protection in this product comes from zinc =) which is perfect as more often than not chemical sunscreens turn me into a rash covered swamp monster.

Seconly - the texture. This product is super smooth and creamy, it's not runny but it's not thick either. It's actually a beautiful consistency and it's very easy to spread and blend onto the skin. This is where the "I like it a lot but don't love it" comes into play for me. The fomula is a wee bit on the oily side. It doesn't feel oily but it can look oily on the skin. It is VERY moisturising and it doesn't absorb into my skin as much as I would like it to. It leaves a slight film on my face that doesn't disappear throughout the day which is very frustrating. In saying that though this doesn't mean that it's a bad product it just means that it's not suitable for my skin. I can imagine this being perfect for someone with dry skin who needs added moisture. It would be a great BB cream for winter especially if you're working outdoors as it has the benefits of moisture + sun protection!

It also doesn't cover as much as I would like it to, I have quite a bit of scarring around my mouth and along my jawline. I would put this in between a tinted moisturiser and a bb cream =) the colour match was also quite good, maybe a wee bit dark but it would be bang on if it was summer!

Garnier BB Cream. So i have dry/sensitive skin, with redness on my checks. Love the thick and creamy consistency of the BB Cream but down fall would be the smell. I didn't like the smell of the BB Cream i received but the smell went after 5 minutes. Application was so easy, it blending out so smoothly and effortlessly. I applied with a sponge and also with a flat top brush. The coverage is sheer but you can build up for a little more coverage. It did cover my redness on my checks and also evened out my skin tone. Down fall was that it start to irritate my eyes, not sure why though. For me this BB Cream gave a dewy finish (which i liked). This product with primer only last around 4 to 5 hours. Packaging is a bit boring. For the price i differently worth it. Overall i would recommend this BB Cream.

I must have one of those skin tones, one that is too dark for Pale coloured BB creams and too light for the Medium shades. This was no exception. It didn't really have much of a smell and it felt really nice, the coverage was great (even if it was too orange for my complexion). Packing was simple yet elegant. It didn't make skin react. If they had a couple of more shades (like one for us girls with cooler skin tones so we don't turn orange then I would be looking into a purchase). Even though I had to wipe most of it of my skin does feel nicer.

Oh my god I need to get myself some shares in Garnier! When I tore open my Beauty Review courier bag I was on the edge of my seat excited. The packaging is nice and simple but really informative! The tube is so cute and if you need to chuck it in your handbag it fits perfectly! Once I had the tube out of its box the challenge was on! I had to try it straight away so I raced to the bathroom and washed off my makeup so I could give it a go! I opened the tube and had a smell - and I was pleasantly surprised the smell was nice and light nothing in your face or overpowering ( unlike concealers which can smell strongly blurgh!) I put a small amount on my palm so I could distribute evenly over my face which was so amazingly easy! I found the best technique for the perfect even application was by using the spotting then rubbing technique! The texture was super light but man did it eliminate redness and my god it made my under eye circles disappear and it gave my skin a nice fresh glow! And there was no tingly feeling or reaction at all! YAY! I was over the moon impressed. Putting my foundation over the top became a breeze BB cream seems to make foundation application easier, faster and you end up with a more even tone! Believe me when I say using this cream cuts down the amount of foundation you need to use and your face and your wallet will thank you for it!!! It had a nice light weight feeling that lasted all day which was fantastic - there is nothing worse than feeling like you have a whole lot of heavy makeup on your face and like your facial skin cant breath during the day! I even did the drinks after work on Friday night and found I didn't need to reapply anything but lippie because this made my makeup last! What more could a girl ask for?! Since I've been wearing it I've had lots of people ask me what I was doing because I looked different - my first comment was good or bad different - everyone said good different woohoo!!!! Nothing nicer than people commenting on your appearance when it is just a simple cream. Like my heading says I am converted!!!!!!

As I do have really sensitive skin, I was extremely happy to be chosen for this trial. My skin is very pale, so I picked the light variant. One would think matching up skin tones to be hit and miss, but this product is spot on - once applied, it blends absolutely seamlessly. The formula is really light and easy to apply with your fingertips. I set mine with a bit of translucent powder, but you could skip this, as this BB Cream does not make your skin oily, nor dry it out. The product doesn't have too much of a scent, which I was pleased about. I've never had to reapply during the day. If you have fairly good skin, you could even skip foundation. Best part - no irritation of my skin and great coverage. And no waiting for anything to dry - I was able to apply my blush straight after. I look forward to many happy years ahead buying this product. The only thing I would ask Garnier to look at is the packaging, as it looks a little cheap. But on that note, the price point is incredibly reasonable.
