Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I have very sensitive skin and as soon as I put something on it the skin goes red but does lessen after a while. so when I put the Garnier BB cream on my skin did go a little bit red but definitely not as bad as normal and even then it went away a lot quicker then usual. I liked how easy it was to apply, it has a creamy texture that spreads easily. I only used a light layer which I find works well for me as I don't like to cake makeup on. It provided a nice sheer coverage which seemed to even out my skin tone. I could make the whole day last with one application but I found it felt more comfortable to put a second application on in the middle of the day. I like that there's only a very light foundation smell so your not always reminded when you breath in that your wearing anything. the size of the tube is nice and compact so easy to fit in a small bag. As it claims I do feel like it has reduced my redness while I am wearing it. I will continue to use this product and look forward to future results. the cost is very good for the quality and quantity you receive and I will recommend this product to friends.

This product did exactly what is said it would. As a girl with naturally very red cheeks I saw a big difference within a few applications. It also blended nicely and hydrated my skin well. I would buy this again, no doubt.

I really liked this product, my skin very dry and I found that the formula was quite creamy and glided on to my face nicely. The week of the trial I had a small breakout around my chin so the coverage was good over most of my face but didn't cover up the pimples enough. I found it best with a bit of concealer underneath and a bit of bronzer on top. I found doing this ensured it lasted the whole day but in the weekend I dropped the bronzer and had enough coverage which is important to me as my face is quite red in places. I'm still not sure if it improved the dryness of my skin but you couldn't tell it was dry when I was wearing it compared to other brands. All in all this is a product I would definitely recommend.

When I first received this product, it says "Light", however when I squeezed a little out it appears much darker than the makeup I usually stick with, appearing more medium. So I was quite sceptical.

For my first application I followed my usual routine even though it said it was all-in-one. I used my light moisturiser, sunscreen, consealer, then this BB Cream. My skin looked heavy and it turned out very oily, and by the end of the day I broke out a little.

Day two I used no moisturiser and no sunscreen, I used my concealer only for under my eyes, then applied the Garnier BB cream - much better result! I did notice though on first application it made my skin look orange, though as it settled this disappeared.

It is a thick cream in texture & easy to apply, I used my fingers to massage it in which I found a better method for this product. The medium colour that I mentioned previously? On my skin it blended perfectly with my own light colour, not darkening it at all which surprised me due to the creams colour :-)

It definitely kept my skin hydrated all day, there is no need for any moisturising top ups throughout the day :-)

It seemed to smooth out my skin tone, nicely reducing the look of my blemishes and red patches on my nose, chin & cheeks, even half masking my previous pimples from my own faulted first attempt of this product.

After a week my skin was actually less dry when I removed my makeup at the end of the day, and other than my first use (which was my own fault not following what this product replaces), I have had no negative reaction.

Garnier BB cream did give my skin a glow, however in certain lights at work it almost looked like I had a little oil - therefore personally I've actually found that once you apply this and you give it a couple of minutes to settle on your skin, apply lightly a Neautralising powder with a brush as a finish. It works perfectly with the BB cream and still gives you a lovely glow, just not oily.

Overall, this product has been effective and I would actually buy this. It has cut back on what I use on my skin, which I believe has also helped condition it. The tube is mess free, product is easy-peasy to use :-)

I was so looking forward to trialling this product as I usually always wear full make up even if I am not going out anywhere and have often thought it would be nice to have something with a bit of light coverage for days when I don't really need to wear full make up. So, I tested this product on four occasions. I used the light shade which I thought might be too light for my skin but it wasn't. I was quite surprised that it did give a good even finish and a fair bit of coverage, had a very light feeling which felt nice. Once it was on, I went about my usual day. The first thing I noticed was that my skin felt really soft even after I removed it at the end of the day. It definitely lives up to its promise of 24hr hydration. It did cover the couple of little blemishes that I had at that time although by the end of the day they were a bit more noticeable. My skin can be dry in areas but it evened out my complexion and make it more youthful in appearance. As an added bonus it has a SP15 included. All in all, I liked this product and recommend people to give it a go as I'm sure they won't be disappointed.

I have mixed emotions about this bb cream. The consistency us quite thick which I like as it gives better coverage. As I tried the sensitive it didnt have any fragrance or smell which I like. It was ok to apply. I tried with a brush aswell as my hands and I felt that it worked better with my hands as they warm up the product better but I found that you have to rub it in more than other bb creams it leaves a streaky finish. Longevity wasn't up to my standard as I like something that last all day and with this I needed to reapply in the afternoon. I personally dont think its worth the price as there are better bb creams for the same price. Wouldnt recommend this product to people.

I tried this BB cream over the space of four days to find it's true potential. Packaging is eye catching and user friendly. Generous amount of product in tube.

Day one - on it's own - A little goes a long way, very sheer coverage, not build-able, moves around unevenly. Wears patchy as the day goes on.

Day 2 - with a concealer for troubled area's. Nice to use when skin is feeling flawless, but oily a small amount massaged well into skin, evens out skin tone so long as not too problematic. Co-operated with concealer well.

Day 3 - Under a foundation as a base, light coverage. Co-operated with other product, however I would reach for my normal primer as it didn't help hold well to skin for longevity throughout the day, and wore patchy.

Day 4 - On it's own, set with a powder. Did not work well with a translucent setting powder. It clung to area's and didn't wear well throughout the day.

I have extremely sensitive skin and until now I have been unable to use any other BB cream in offered in the supermarket.

The consistency of the product is thick creamy which means you only need a small amount when applying. This product is easy to apply I just used my hands to make sure I had blended it all in. I noticed no lingering fragrance. The coverage of the product is sheer with a matte finish and lasts most of the day. The price is pretty similar to other products and if you have sensitive skin it is really worth the money :). The packing works for the product, small and compact you can take it anywhere on the go. The squeeze bottle allows you to distribute the amount that is right for you. I think this product is great and performs what it says, sensitive skin consumers a must ! I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend.

I've never used a ‘BB’ cream before but I have used tinted moisturiser before so I was interested to see what the difference might be, if any. I think the main difference is in the name, and perhaps a little in the improved quality (but that could also be the development of cosmetics over time). Over all I was happy with the product but I would like to go into more detail about my experiences with it:

With my sensitive skin I have to be very careful about what I put on my skin and how often. I am often not able to wear make-up (depending what kind) 2 days in a row as it irritates my skin too much, however I was pleasantly surprised to see that after wearing the ‘Garnier BB Cream’ for several days in a row it wasn't flaring up my sensitive skin in the slightest. However the constant use (while cleansing morning and night) I did start to experience some break outs but this was easily maintained by the combination of an acne cream I use and refraining from the product quite so frequently. It is worth mentioning that along with sensitive skin I also have blemish prone skin so it’s likely others would not have this problem and that I'm still using the product and regularly without issue. As far as its longevity is concerned, it does promise long lasting hydration and light coverage which is does delivery on. The product does wear and perhaps if you were concerned about coverage you might apply a second time in the day, but I personally found this unnecessary. I did find that it sat lightly on my skin so I didn't actually feel as though I was wearing anything more than a moisturiser. I feel it delivered on what it said it would do on the packaging, however the product description above (which differs slightly from the packaging) claims to reduce redness, I don't believe that is does but it does cover redness. Over all I was happy with the product and I would (and will) use it again, I also would happily recommended it to other people with sensitive skin!
