Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

Its been over a week now trialling this product and I love it!. It arrived on a Saturday so perfect timing for my less makeup weekend time. My box was crushed on arrival and I thought the packaging had a lot of writing on. The actual product tube was fine apart from stickers over it and the front one coming off that said it was for sensitive skin but underneath it had on the tube 'anti ageing' so not too sure if it was sensitive or anti ageing I was trialling BUT anyway it was lovely! I get quite a sensitive patch above my top lip up towards my nose, any new products usually aggravate it and turn red and owchy. This BB cream however did not. Lovely creamy texture that was easy to squeeze out and glides on easily to the skin, no scent and has great staying power. Not a really shiny finish and not matte either, just right! during the week I applied powder over top for more coverage for work and it was lovely. I didn't use a moisturiser a few times, just applied the BB straight away and it was great. I will keep using it and will more than likely buy more once I have ran out as it is the best BB I have used so far. I have tried a few now, even big brand labelled ones and this is far superior.

I received this to trial and really liked this product. I have sensitive skin but very oily so I was keen to try this as I usually use the oil free version. Its easy to apply, moisturising, and didn't make my skin break out. Even though I got the fair shade it still gave my face a bit of colour. I'm still trying to figure out what to use over top to keep my shine and redness under control as sadly the coverage for me isn't enough.

I am a big fan of BB creams and I do have my favourites, which means when trying anything new I am hard to convert. To me this is quite a thicker cream, but it feels nice, as most Garnier products do. I didn't feel I got a heap of amount of coverage - I like this in a BB cream, but it left a nice feel to the skin. Good for someone who maybe doesn't want to spend a heap on BB and wants it to last as I don't think you need to use heaps

I'm not a big fan of foundation or powder etc so I thought a BB cream would be a great alternative to try. My impression was that it would be more like a tinted moisturiser that I could wear every day. The packaging states that the cream provides hydrating care with a light touch of make-up. The product is actually quite thick, it does give great coverage, evens out skin tone etc. but for me it felt like I had a heavy mask on my face, and I felt very 'made-up'. I chose the light version as I have very fair skin however it was still a little to dark for me. I didn't find it particularly hydrating, and my skin has actually probably been drier this week than usual. I usually find that after I have used something a couple of times my skin starts to get irritated however this didn't irritate my skin at all so I would use it for that reason alone The smell is fairly neutral. Overall a good product but not something I would choose to wear everyday, I will continue to use it as a base for going out/special occasions.

Previously I tried the original formula which felt heavy and oily. The Garnier BB cream sensitive skin formula did feel a little thick, but after working it into the skin and allowing it to be absorbed, it no longer felt thick, mask-like or oily. Immediately my redness and light blemishes were covered. The BB cream lasted until it was wiped off my face at the end of the day. Light coverage with moisturising properties that lasted for hours!

I hate foundations at the best of times. They feel thick and clumpy! This is nothing like that! it goes on smoothly. I use it like my daycream. Amazing flawless finish! Absolutely fantastic.

I absolutely love this product. It is smooth and creamy and is easily applied with your fingers. The first time I used it I got out WAY too much so make sure you just get out a little at a time as you cant put any back in the tube. I applied it to half my face and found that it reduced the redness in my cheeks from sun damage and evened out my skin tone beautifully. I have extremely sensitive skin on my face and I am unable to use a lot of products. I found this BB cream to be fine on me and is a great replacement for sunscreen as that is something my skin reacts to. I found the box packaging to be quite busy looking with a lot of writing. I didnt think it was that attractive really but hey its what is on the inside that counts. The light colour tone suited my skin well ( I am quite pale) even though when you first squeeze it out it looks quite dark. It is a great base for your usual make up regime, but not really suitable to be worn by itself.

I have tried a few BB creams before, and they had left my skin very oily. I was very surprised that this cream did not leave my skin oily at all! I tried it over a few days and it left my skin looking even and glowing. It was not the most full coverage, however provided enough coverage over my red patch areas to leave my skin all evened out. It glided over my dry areas and lasted all day. I was left very impressed by this product and would purchase, and have recommend to others.

I received this product to trial from Beauty Review and I do not like this product. I have tried to use it various ways - with a brush, with a beauty blender and with my fingers. The best way to apply was with my fingers. I also tried it over primer by itself, over primer under foundation and finishing powder and by itself. I did not like it either way. I found the product to be too greasy for my skin and all three ways it was very patchy. Especially on and around my red nose, it did not blend well! The product promises to reduce redness, for me it definitly didn't . It did however even out most of the rest of my face and did illuminate, but i think that is only because it was quite greasy looking. The colour was a good match (light) and it smelled ok but i would not buy this product again.
