Dove Summer Glow Review

Love this moisturizer/tanning lotion. Would highly recommend. Made my skin feel lovely and soft and also gave a nice light tan and it smells yummy. I use this all the time and the tan seems to last for ages

I really like this product, easy to use and hard to mess up! It does however take quite a while to dry and does have a bit of a funky smell, so my favourite way to use it is outside while sunbathing!

I love this product, being a pale Ginger the sun and I never agree so when I need a bit of a Glow and a pick me up I reach for this. Because it has a gradual build up of colour there is very little chance of turning orange. Application is as easy as moisturizing and dries fast. I found the light to medium too light for my liking so I use the Dark. The bottle is a great size so it really is value for money. The scent is nothing offensive. I find myself reaching for it in winter to just give a slight hint of colour to my skin.

I purchased this in the summer to help pro long my fake tan. I have dry skin and the consistency is that of a moisturiser (definitely thicker than a lotion) so it was enough to use as a moisturiser when I got out of the shower. I didn't mind the smell, even though I know some people hate it. To me it smelt like herbal essence shampoo. I am medium skin tone, and tan easily in the sun in summer but I avoid the sun baking because I'm now in my late 20's and already have dry skin so I am trying to take care of it as much as possible. I find it doesn't give great results on its own. But, if you get a fake tan and you use this in the mornings after a shower it will make the fake tan last that extra few days. It is definitely worth the price. The amount of product makes this last for quite awhile.

I found this product great, gave me the slightly sun kissed look I was going for, my legs are quite fear in the winter and using this gave me that slight tan look that did not look fake. Prolonged use gave the best results, My legs are quite dry and the dove summer glow gave a great moister to my legs. Great product for the price

I'm the type of person that does my best in the time I have and that just has to do! I used to apply this the same as a normal moisturizer, trying my best to get even coverage on my legs then going about with my day, well day one is great! I see a slight tan that gradually builds up each day with prolonged usage. Unfortunately for me, my knees are dryer than the rest of my legs so require more lotion so end up several shades darker, an almost orange colour. I try again, and end up with streaks on the back of my calves. This product has the potential to be fantastic , but I dont see it as user-friendly for busy ladies on the go.

I got some of this from the warehouse for $2 because the lid was broken, BARGAIN! I used it over summer and still have tonnes! I think it leaves a very nice finish, but you have to remember to wash your hands directly after applying and make sure you have applied evenly (just like any tanning lotion). I like the smell of it for some reason haha, the packaging (aside from my broken lid) is convenient. And this definitely leaves the skin feeling nourished and looking good

I purchased the Medium to Dark Skin formula even though I am fair skinned. It goes on easy and has a pleasant enough smell. The colour builds up after a few days and then I just used every third day or so to keep the colour even. I liked that it didn't go patchy throughout the week so it was never obvious that I was wearing a 'fake tan'. I did find that it didn't dry vey quickly which made it awkward to use at night time before bedtime, and you definitely need to wash your hands after using. A good product that does what it says it will but I probably wouldn't repurchase due to the drying time.

I use this moisturiser as a quick fix. I prefer to use self tanner in mousse form as there is a colour guard and I can see where the tan is appying. However I enjoy using this moisturiser as a quick fix as I can apply it for two or three days and I have a nice glow. I do use the darker tone moisturiser and I do enjoy using it as a quick and easy tan with zero effort as I moisturise my body after a shower anyway.
