Dove Summer Glow Review

I've used many tanning products, this was one of the first products i tried.. Its defintley nowhere near as good as the foam tan "loving tan" which is my go to when i can afford it, but for its price i think its great, it does tan you but i find when i use it on my overall body it doesnt seem to go on well, when i use it on my cleanly shaved legs tho it works great. its a good tan if you are planning to go out in a short dress and just want to slap some quick cheap tan on.

I have used this product on and off for over 5 years. I seem to always buy it on sale and forget why I don't use it. Don't get me wrong it does what it says (by giving you a gradual tan) but putting it on alone is a mission. Rubbing it in then waiting for it to dry is worse than watching paint dry because depending on where you've applied it (usually everywhere) you have to stand around naked waiting too. And forget trying to wear tight fitting clothes or white clothes either.i can tell when you have applied it and its not dry yet as its tacky feeling on my skin. And even after its dried and 'soaked in' I still find it being sticky feeling. ld much rather use a spray on or go get it done professionally.

I do like this product, and it is one I have been using for many years now. I used to use it all the time when I was at high school, to give me a natural looking glow during the summer when we had to wear skirts. However, I did feel that this could often go quite yellowish on my legs and around my ankles and feet. I suppose I could have been using it too much or something, but it was quite ugly. I still use this product every once and a while. I also do not love the smell, but it is not too overly pungent.

This moisture was great at first but after a week of use my legs turned a weird orange colour and had a strange smell which took forever to get off my sheets.

As a pale-skinned girl who legit does not tan in summer (like, ever!) I lovvvvvvve this product! It smells good, it feels good, and it works good, too. For me, I only need one or two applications for a nicely tanned result. I would recommend maybe trialling this product before debuting your glowing tan though :)

Ok I first purchased this in the darker shade expecting that it wouldnt have much colour to it! Wrong!

I slathered it on hoping for some colour before braving a dress the next day and colour I got! Too much actually... I must have used too much, it was orange and streaky! I totally underestimated the tanning power!

I purchased the lighter shade and applied it sparingly, over a few days I built up a nice colour. Much better!

it is hands down the best, most easiest tanning product i have used. i never go over orange or streaky which is great. I know its a gradual tan product, but with such white skin like mine, i don't want to look ridiculously over tanned. love it!

I use this when I want to achieve a nice natural summer glow. Its easy to pick up when I go shopping at the supermarket and its in expensive. Its easy to apply and it lasts for days. It gives my skin a healthy glow that I have been longing for. Its easy to remove unlike other fake tanning products. I will be constantly reaching for this every time I want a tan. I recommend to try this. It comes in 2 shades and is build able.

Summer Glow hydrates my skin while helping build up a natural looking glow. This product is amazing for me since I'm so pale and tend to get dry skin in the colder months so this product helps my skin stay soft and also helps me look less like the walking dead. This product can really be worn all year round as even though I tend to get a bit of a tan in summer this product is great as a base, giving that extra glow and hydrating skin after spending hours in the sun, water or sand.

I like this product. Gives you a nice, brown glow gradually and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. I would use this again, just put a little on, sparingly, a day.
