As a wickedly pale person I tend to be very hesitant when it comes to tanning lotions however going into the sun results in burning, freckling and peeling so I thought I would give this product a try. Having given it a read, what stood out to me was the idea of a gradual tan as it meant I wouldn't suddenly turn into a completely different colour and it seemed a bit more controlled. It takes a few days to really notice any result at all, which is a good thing and a bad thing. The formula itself is nice and spreads easily plus goes a loooong way. I was quite surprised when I realised the amount I intended for one leg could actually do both legs reasonably easy. I found the colour to be natural looking which was important. It does not last long and tends to wash out easily which I also liked as I wasn't stuck with it after my experimenting. I definitely think this is a good option for people not too keen on self tan but dont want to rush into the dangers of the sun all day. Great price too!

This seems to be the ONLY summer body cream with a hint of self tan that doesn't smell horrible. Really, it smells lovely! I would recommend this to anyone! A beautiful product, well done Dove! :)
Tips: Make sure you spread it evenly and ALWAYS wash your hands afterwards as your palms may be tanned :p
my favorite gradual tanner! so moisturizing and works gradually to give you a nice, natural tanned glow!! not good if you are looking for an instant tan and you have to make sure you apply evenly!
This is a great product when you want to gradually get a subtle tan, if you apply too much it will give you more of an orange look but if you slowly apply it over a few days you will achieve a nice even natural looking glow.
Tips: scrub your hands right after
Defs gives you a sunkissed look but not for already tanned skin lol. It gave me a tiny subtle colour but overall not for darkies.
Love this product, I do advice other friends to try this product, The only Issue I have ever had Is having to wait about 5-10 minutes for it to completely dry before putting clothing on or anything, It is very gradual as it states on the bottle, and You can go to any colour desired.
Tips: One tip I have done is even though I am extremely fair coloured, I recommend buying the darker shade bottle for a darker tan straight away rather then a gradual slow process of tanning
This is very moisturising and gives you a nice glowy gradual tan. Completely streak free too. It does have a strong smell like some kind of scent trying to disguise the smell of self tanner. But if you can get past that, then it's a great little product.
I love this moisturiser/tanner. If you use the lighter one it is great for building a gradual tan. It is not overly orange like other products. I like the golden look it gives me and it's great for summer. It's not too streaky as well which is also a bonus. I will be using this again over summer :-)
This moisturiser is awesome for someone who is a bit iffy about "going the whole hog" with something like a spray tan. Its light and non greasy and has a nice smell. I liked the golden tone it gave my skin and the fact that it gradually made my skin look tan, rather than going from "albino brown" to "oompa loompa orange" I love that it is a decent sized bottle and its reasonably priced, especially when its on sale. Will definitely be using again in summer. THUMBS UP!
I've never been good at fake-tanning, and I can honestly say there would be some pretty scary (think streaky, tiger-stripe tan!) looking photos of me out there on Facebook if I wasn't able to rely on this to get my tan on. I can always be confident that this will give me a nice tan, especially if I start a few days before I want the tan to really appear.
It's so easy to rub in evenly, and because it's gradual I never have to worry about streaks! I've had so many comments over the years too, saying what a nice natural tan I've got and asking if I've been out in the sun. When I tell people I did it myself they're always surprised!
Huge bonus too is how awesomely moisturising it is for my skin. Nice to be able to skip the extra step of body lotion in the morning. Improves my skin's appearance, and feeling! It feels nice after applying too, not too greasy like other lotions can.
Been using this for 3+ years now, and can't imagine stopping anytime soon!
Tips: It is gradual - like it says - so if you're wanting to be quite darker than you already are, definitely start as much in advance as possible. 3-4 days before a big event usually does it for me, but doesn't hurt to start earlier either!
Also remember to wash your hands after applying, even if it is just a gradual tanner. I learned this the hard way! You will still end up with those lovely orange tan-palms.
