Dove Summer Glow Review

I really like this product. Its relatively easy to apply, and because its gradual it looks really natural as you don't get any streaks.

The products itself is a good consistency, its a cream which makes it easy to get out of the bottle and easy to apply.

It does however have a bit of an overpowering floral scent and once its on it gets that 'fake tan smell'.

It also feels very sticky once applied to the skin.

Once you have built the colour that you want, you can just apply it twice a week to maintain the colour.

I use gloves when using this as it will stain your hands.

It last quite a while, and is a good price compared to other products.

It gives a nice natural colour, only goes orange if you apply it too often.

The packaging it comes in is practical, easy to get every last drop out.

I have very pale, sensitive skin and it works great, and overall I love it :)

This is a good daily moisture that gives u a nice tan, that doesn't look fake, only problem is u have to wait abit for it to dry so u can put your clothes on

I really like the tanning properties. It doesnt look orange and looks natural. The only thing is that it takes forever to soak in so I have to wait a long time before I put any clothes on.

This product is amazing. I have skin so pale you could almost call it see-through. After using many different products, I finally came to this one, expecting to turn orange, like the others did, and I didn't. The tan it gave me was natural looking and it gradually built up and never got too dark. It never left my skin all flakey so I found it to be quite good.

Best moisturiser out. I love the smell and the gradual tan makes it easy to get perfect. I even use this after using other tanning product to ensure perfect tan.

I have fair skin, but I use the summer glow for medium to dark skin. I find that it is still gradual, but I don't need to do as many applications, so it saves time and product. It is easy to apply, not too thick so spreads on well, and as it is quite greasy you can tell where you have applied and don't miss any spots. I even find it easy to put on my own back. I find it works really well as a moisturiser too.It makes my skin soft, and I feel like it helps with break outs a little bit. I have sensitive skin, some moisturisers give me a rash, but not this one.

On the negative side, I don't like the smell and it leaves me feeling a bit slimy all day or night (I usually put it on at night so I can wash it off in the morning, and don't have to wear it around as I hate the feeling). Sometimes I have to shower twice to completely remove the smell and slimy feel.

In saying that, it is the best tanner I've used so far, and I love the results, so I continue to use it. A few improvements could help but otherwise, great product.

NB: When i have used the one for fair to medium skin in the past I haven't noticed much of a tan until I have applied it several times... So I'm not too impressed with the light shade, but I like the dark one!

It gave a light very nice tan after using it 2-3 times. Smells average but lovely for a tanning cream as these usually don't smell to pleasant. Would defiantly use it again, maybe with another tanning cream as well.

I have used this product over a number of years in the lead up to school balls in the middle of winter. It's great to gradually tan my pale skin and not have the 'oompa loompa' orange look. I usually buy fair-medium but have bought medium-dark in the past for a faster effect.

I love this, and buy it every summer, i love being able to build up a natural tan, i like the smell and i love the smooth feel of my legs afterwards. I have used this product for years and have not found one i have liked more than this.! No streaks, natural brownness.. Lovely. I cant wait for next summer!

I do quite like this product for a nice light natural tan, it does definitely give you a sun kissed look, I usually apply this two- three times over a week to get more of a tan, I like this for every day wear rather then night time. It also has a strong smell but I'm a fake tan fan so I don't mind it and doesn't stain your hands!
