Valentines Day – Gifts For Him!

Blokes can be a bit hard to buy for at the best of times, but even more so on Valentine’s Day. Flowers? Nope. Too girly or they die so what’s the point. Chocolates? Only if they’re beer flavoured. A romantic movie? As long as it includes guns, explosions and multiple fatalities. It sure can be tempting to buy them a big box of nothing, but then we thought – what about beauty products? How often does the man in your life borrow something of yours? Bodywash, conditioner, shampoo… your razor! So if you’re stuck for a present idea, check out these blokey beauty Valentine’s Day gifty goodies.

Does your man step out of the shower smelling like a bag of candyfloss or a fresh spring day? Body wash could be in order. The Aromatherapy Co’s Therapy Man Hair & Body Wash, will solve three problems in one. 1) No more stealing your shampoo. 2) No more stealing your body wash. And 3) He’ll smell good enough to swoon over.

Tired of seeing your razor moved about the bathroom by a ghost aka your significant other? Show him how much you’d love him never to touch it again by purchasing a shaving kit, like the VS Sassoon Body Grooming System. Or really push the boat out and check out the fancy and fabulous range of razor shaving sets at www.mancave.co.nz.

If you happen to have a bearded man on your hands, spoil him with beard products! Bearded.co.nz has a cool collection of beard balms, conditioners and even oils! Bonus – once he starts using them he’ll have a chin full of hair you’ll always want to run your hands through.

For a man who’s serious about his beauty products you can’t go past the gorgeous Triumph & Disaster range. The Summer Tool Kit is an especially cool way to treat him on Valentine’s Day, containing Shearers Soap, Gameface Moisturiser and NO DICE Sunscreen.

So what are you getting your manly mate for Valentine’s Day? Could he do with beauty products? Would he appreciate them? Chat away…

That summer tool kit sounds cool. I ended up buying a tool box and some tools today for my man. Hopefully they are the right ones. I felt a bit out of place buying them and imagined it must be how a guy feels when looking at makeup!

I'm single this Valentine's but when I had a significant other we didn't really do anything really special or get gifts, we were poor! But we did try to spend some time together.

My puzzle piece is a mans man. He is a rugged farmer man and doesn't get in to beauty products. Although I have finally got him to start using cleanser and moisturiser woohoo! We don't celebrate valentines with bought gifts instead I am THAT cheesy girl who bakes heart shape cookies or cupcakes and writes him a poem. It gets me a melt worthy smile and that's all that I am after! :)

Beard oil is a great idea! Mine buys his own from his barber, but I might suprise him with a new one.

Great ideas! I did beauty products for his Birthday last month though... I'm thinking of some vouchers from me for me to do things for him for V day - I'm not big on Valentines to be honest but he loves it so I can't ignore it!

I might keep these in mind as some gift ideas.

My Brad doesnt like valentines day. Hes only celebrated our annivesaries and birthdays. Eleven years this year. Hes not a restaurant guy. His idea of romance consists of a drive thru followed by a hot spa lol He prefers doing things like going to Drags, fishing boat tours anything car related. Real petrol head lol

the man "doesn't do" valentines day, only cos our anniversary (5 years this year!) is a few days after. but for our anniversary i'm going to make him his favorite dinner and dessert and probably buy him a bag of RJ's liquorice ;-)
