L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

I have a habit of picking at my split ends while sitting through boring lectures, and since I've started using this shampoo, I've noticed that the strands of my hair are more resistant to breaking. My hair is elasticy rather than brittle, which means that it is less likely to fall out. On the outside, the packaging looks cute. Bright pink on black with matching conditioner bottle. It's enticing. But what is more enticing is the smell. This I noticed before I even opened the bottles. It smells fruity and delicious. Of course, opening it and using the shampoo, the smell is even more intense. It foams up nicely, and one wash is all my oily hair needs. It cleans like normal shampoo, there is nothing spectacular to the shampoo process. Over the past week or so, I've noticed less hair falling out when brushing it. I also have an extra layer of shine that my hair never had before. I would highly recommend this shampoo, just for the smell alone, but the shine and hair power make it amazing. Would definitely consider purchasing after it runs out, and it's great product for value also!

Nothing like leaving a review to the last minute but I wanted to give this product all the time I could because good results don't always happen on the first day!

Firstly the packaging is very appealing - the colour choice with the name makes you feel like you are buying one step up from a supermarket brand (even though you got it at the supermarket)

The feel of the shampoo is light even to the touch and the scent is lovely but not overpowering which is exactly what you want for something that close to your face.

Next test for me was if it would agree with my scalp - often my hair loves a shampoo but my scalp doesn't and no problems on this front, my scalp is still happy as.

Finally and probably the biggest test was would my hair get healthier! I have a thyroid problem and am currently experiencing high stress situations which are both not good for my hair. The thyroid particularly would cause small clumps of hair to come away at once (luckily I have a lot). Because of this I didn't hold out much hope but thought ..... why not?!

My results were not instant or dramatic but they are there. I still lose hair (don't we all - especially us long haired lasses) but not in the clumps I used to. My hair definitely is in better condition and knots less which I'm sure is a good thing when it comes to breakages.

Would I buy this the next time I am buying shampoo - definitely! I would rather have less dramatic but sure results as I feel that instead of a quick fix this is truly getting to the health of my hair.

The L'Oreal Paris Elvive Arginine Resist Shampoo was a good shampoo however it did not leave my hair more resistant to hair fall unfortunately. My hair is naturally quite weak and when washing, brushing and just running my hands through it strands easily fall out. However, in the shower it is worse. I was quite excited to try this product as this is a very annoying problem to have but found it made little to no difference. It was a nice every day shampoo, that had a plesant smell, but did not do what it offered.

I am very picky about my shampoo & conditioner but this combo was truly amazing - even my husband loved it! I have a lot of hair fall out and with this shampoo I have noticed less hair falling out. It also smells delicious and has a really nice texture. I also used to wash my hair everyday because I am paranoid about oil but while using this shampoo I have been able to skip a day of washing (which is so much healthier for my hair). Once hair was shampoo'd and conditioned (matching conditioner) my hair felt really nice and soft, I also used the shampoo alone on some days (with no conditioner) and it still felt amazing!. Would highly recommend to anyone who is paranoid about hair falling out or oily hair - this shampoo worked really well. Price is a little more than I expected - how ever I do think it is worth it as it actually performs in the way it advertises.

This shampoo smells so good! Its nice and fruity, but not too overpowering. This shampoo said that it would reduce my hair fall significantly, however, I found that it didn't reduce it as much as I was expecting it to. I definitely found a bit of a reduction, but it was more noticeable when I washed my hair every 2 days or so. Even though it didn't quite give me the results I was hoping for, I found that when used in conjunction with the ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner, my hair gets incredibly soft and stays cleaner for longer in comparison to other shampoo/conditioner combos.

I was so excited because I know L'Oreal is a good brand and was really hoping for good results but sadly not. Still had the same amount of hair fall out in the shower, didn't have a great smell and now its given me dandruff which I've never had before! Wouldn't recommend this product sorry

L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo claims to reduce hair fall so I was really excited to try this product. I used the shampoo (and conditioner) for two weeks, and did not see any noticeable reduction in hair fall. I wasn't a huge fan of the fragrance (fake passionfruit) but it did have staying power. The bottles are sleek and nice to look at, and the shampoo lathers well. My hair was a little dry after use. While this product didn't work that well for me, it didn't really make my hair any worse, so I guess that's a bonus.

Really nice foam and clean with shampoo lathers well and my scalp felt clean. I have very think hair so my hair fall out issue didn't work ad well as I hoped it would I would say I had a 20% reduction in fall out based on the amount of hair that came out during the washing process. Used product 6 times every 3 days.

I really like the design on the bottle. It's super easy to spot on the supermarket shelf! The smell is fantastic! I've noticed that the smell will linger on my hair for hours after which I love. During the three weeks of using this my hair fall and breakage has reduced by about 75% which is huge! The only problem I have with the shampoo is that my scalp is very dry and I get a small amount of dandruff. I'm definitely going to carry on using this!

I was quite pessimistic with this shampoo before I tried it. As I have tried many of shampoo that was suggesting it will help with reducing the hair falls. I have a thick dry hair, but as I'm getting older and after having kids, I'm having a serious hair fall problem to the point I had to cut my hair short. I've been trying this shampoo every day for three weeks and I am so amazed of how helpful is this shampoo in reducing my hair fall problem. I could see less hair on my bathroom floor after I had shower now. I feel that this shampoo helps strengthen my hair roots that resulted in less hair fall. In conclusion, this is so far the best hair fall shampoo I have ever tried.
