L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

I found this shampoo pleasant to use. It smells great, and made my hair feel amazing. My hair didn't tangle as much as it usually does when I used this shampoo. I also noticed I didn't have as much hair on my hair brush after using this product, which indicates to me that the anti-fall does somewhat work! Overall I was pretty happy with this product!

I was lucky enough to trial this shampoo through beauty review, and have used other loreal shampoos before which I loved. This shampoo comes in a slim black, glossy bottle. I really like the slim tube and how the shampoo dispenses easily. The smell is pleasant, and there was a nice consistency. Comparing this to my other shampoo products, I really liked that there was next to no fall out when washing my hair. Usually I find that some shampoo products leave my hair feeling quite stiff or rough. The Loreal Arganine resist shampoo made my hair feel smooth, and I didn't need to use much product either. I like that this shampoo (along with the conditioner) keeps my hair feeling clean for longer, and find that I am washing my hair every 3 days compared to my usual every second day! I have oily, thick but fine hair, and for the affordable price I will definitely repurchase this shampoo again. I have noticed my hair fall out has literally stopped, and it feels very healthy and strong. I would reccomend this product to anyone who has quite a lot of hair fall or breakage, or is looking for something that will strengthen and nourish their hair.

I had never tried a L'oreal Paris shampoo before. I had always thought of L'oreal Paris as a make up brand to be honest so i was quite intrigued to find out how a shampoo by them would stand up. And it sure did! Firstly the smell of this shampoo is the most delicious thing i have ever smelt. Its kind of fruity, almost smells sort of peachy. I usually have quite a bad scalp and it can get quite itchy and dry whenever i change or try new shampoos and with his one, it didn't. My scalp felt nourished and looked after, unlike any shampoo has ever done for me before. I can get quite oily hair, with this shampoo i was able to go 2 days before needed to wash it again, which is no change from my usual wash cycle. I really liked the consistency of this shampoo as it was quite thick and it really felt as though it was washing my hair and doing its job. The only problem i have with this shampoo is that it promises less hair fall and stronger hair but it doesn't really deliver on this part. I haven't noticed any less hair fall, but i do feel like my hair is stronger somehow. It feels a lot thicker.Overall, i was pretty impressed by this product and i would certainly recommend it to my friends and family.

I have been salon colouring my hair for the past 18 years and I think in hindsight I should have asked to be selected for one of the colour specific product trials. I have significant hair fall but whether this is due to the fact that I have colored my hair for so long or because of a recently diagnosed thyroid issue I am unsure. I generally purchased salon only products so was keen to see if a supermarket product would give me similar results (who's not keen to spend less at the hairdresser?) Unfortunately after using the shampoo and conditioner for the last two weeks I have had to purchase a mask treatment as my ends are extremely dry and brittle. I had just had a keratin treatment done in salon a couple of weeks before starting the trial so my hair was in pretty good knick. I note that the proven results (as per the bottle) were evaluated by women who used a third step spay as well as the shampoo and conditioner. In summary I think I had slightly less hair fall but due to my hair becoming extremely dry I wouldn't purchase again.

I have been using the product for around 3 weeks now and the change has been dramatic. I have oily roots with dry ends, so finding products that can work with this is tricky, however this shampoo left my scalp feeling cleansed yet nourished which was a big plus.

After the first use, I didn't notice any change in my hair at all, however after the third use, I noticed my hair getting stronger and my hair was no longer coming out in clumps when I washed it.

3 weeks on and I'd say my hair fall has reduced by at least 50%. I've tried many products out their targeted at reducing hair breakage and none have come even close to the results I have received using this shampoo.

The scent is also pretty nice and I can still smell it after a day or two. The texture is also thick and doesn't feel "cheap" like some other shampoos can.

Overall, I think I will buy this again, perhaps alternating with another shampoo to avoid product buildup.

I love this the oil in my hair is not existant after usingthis. I only apply the product to my roots of my hair and I do I without water to begin with so it really soaks up all the debris and oil after adding water I get my claws in there and really rubb my scalp to get in deep. I like to leave it in for about 5 minutes. The clean up and end result is great, keeps the oil away for long periods xx

This is a toughy, I feel it did make a slight difference to my thin hair (which on a regular occasion is falling out everywhere I'm surprised I have any left). I shall continue to use it and will most probably buy it when I have run out of the sample.

It smells amazing and make your hair super smooth and clean for days. The texture of the product is really good and not to runny juat right (I hate it when shampoo is runny and you end up wasting half of it before it makes it to your hair).

I was really excited to try this shampoo out because I'm always malting everywhere, and the idea of a shampoo that would help stop that a little bit was a tempting one!

Over all I'm not too sure about this one. I think that I've noticed slightly less hair-fall than normal, but it's pretty difficult to judge. I definitely haven't noticed a dramatic reduction, although it might be something that takes a little while to work!

Other than that the shampoo is good, it has a nice subtle scent and leaves my hair feeling really nice and soft and not too squeaky clean (which isn't good for your hair says my hairdresser!). Definitely something I'm going to keep trying to see if I can see a better result on the hair-fall front!

Yes this product stood up to the anticipation. First shampoo lovely soft luxurious lather.Lovely smell fruity-floral not to overpowering after two weeks use definitely noticed less hair fall 60%-70%.I have long wavy hair that was left nice and soft, shiny a little bit fluffy flyaway though.Loved the packaging colours black, silver and pink.Nice product it did what it says I will continue to use.

I think that this is one of the better supermarket shampoos. Firstly, I liked the packaging. It was eye catching and easy to use. The texture of the shampoo was good, it was reasonably thick which helped it stay on your hair. However, I did not find that this shampoo reduced my hair fall at all. I found that my hair felt drier than normal, especially after 2 days. My hair did feel great at first, bu the moisture did not last. I had to use a serum to put the moisture back in my hair. However, I did not find that this shampoo made my hair overly greasy or dry like other supermarket shampoos, so I can conclude that is is 'the best of a bad bunch!' I think I will stay using my salon shampoo and conditioner, but if I had to use a supermarket brand, this would be the one!
