L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

About twice a year I seem to have a fhair fall out and regrowth session. I end up with tiny new sticking up hair around the parting and you can't get a hair straightener under those wee ones. I can't see the this shampoo would change nature. l'oreal shampoos and conditioners are always my favourites and I would buy the shampoo again, but at the moment I am hooked on the latest extra body range.

My 11yo daughter has the longest hair imaginable and we are forever battling the masses of hair strewn around the house. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner for her to try to see if it made any difference to the amount of hair breakage she had.

The packaging is really eye catching and pretty, which makes repeat purchases easy with it being so recognisable. The smell is absolutely devine, however no one in the house is sensitive to perfumed products which may be an issue for other people.

The shampoo lathers up beautifully, and for a reasonably priced supermarket product, you only need a small amount which makes it even more economical.

We've been using this product for a little over a month now and we have really noticed a reduction in hair breakage.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now, and I have been using it in conjunction with the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner. First Impression of the product: It has nice packaging and the bottle clearly says what the product is specialised to do. The Product is like any other shampoo, in that is is good consistency and isn't gunky. It smells fresh and clean. I have found that my hair has definitely decreased in fall out, and my hair feels stronger overall. I am happy with the outcomes after using this for a few weeks and will definitely e looking at using this again in the future. It also gives a good fresh clean to your hair and scalp, which is always expected from a shampoo I guess:)

Claims to ‘cleanse the scalp’, but after a few days of use I started getting an incredibly itchy scalp. Followed by the worst case of dandruff I’ve ever experienced (or witnessed!). I have dark black hair, so it’s really really obvious. For this reason alone, I wouldn’t repurchase.

As far as cleaning my hair, I had to massage in carefully as my usual method created lots of knots - Wet knots are not fun! 

As with the conditioner, I noticed no difference in strength of hair nor hair-fall.

I am pleasantly surprised with this fab product. In the last two weeks, I have washed my hair with Arginine Resist shampoo and conditioner 6 times. After the third wash, I really noticed alot less hair was coming out in the shower, just a few strands, compared to the usual big clump. Another fabulous Loreal Product!

Well where do I begin - firstly the classy and stylish packaging that WOWED me from the time I opened my parcel. I was very impressed with the lovely pink and black colours and think it likes lovely in my bathroom. Next the smell is lovely, you also don't need a lot to get a good lather which makes it very economical. I also like that fact that is easily able to be purchased at supermarkets etc so everyone can afford to buy it and have access to it. It took a bit longer to work than I expected as I had quite bad hair that used to fall out in handfuls but after about a week I started to notice a huge difference to the amount of hair that was in the plughole. My husband is very pleased with the result as it means he doesn't have to clear the drain as often. People are also noticing as they used to pick the hairs off my clothes all the time so it means I can a bit more adventurous with the colour of my top clothes now instead of wearing dark clothes as that hid the hair the most. I am so happy as this shampoo has also made my hair appear much more fuller and given it more volume and bounce so it looks a lot more healthier and shinier. This is a reasonable product for the price you pay for it and going by the price I certainly cannot complain.

It is just your standard supermarket Shampoo however it is amongst some of the 'best' supermarket Shampoo's I have purchased.

You don't need to use too much of the product and it seems to do a reasonably good job in cleaning your hair. However, I haven't noticed any difference in hair fall but in saying that I have only used the product for 2 weeks.

I will continue to use this Shampoo to see if it makes any changes in the strength of my hair.

On a side note, I love the packaging for this product! Sleek and sharp.

firstly I love the packaging, black with beautiful pink writing In a tall slender bottle.

- I've been using this product for a little over two week's now and the first thing I noticed within the first week was how soft and bouncy my hair became.

- The smell Is absolutely gorgeous, It was the first thing I noticed about this shampoo, It leave's my hair smelling beautiful day's after.

- My hair Is actually thick, But yet I get a lot of hair fall, Which can be so annoying when you have a head of hair. After the two week's of using the shampoo I haven't noticed a huge difference with the hair falling, But there Is definitely a notice In the amount. I also like that after washing out there seem's to be no residue left behind, and also doesn't leave my hair dry and straw like. I don't know If It's just me being hopeful, But In my opinion My hair has grown since using this product.

- I find the price tag to be reasonable and well worth It for this range, and would most definitely purchase this myself as well as recommend It to family and friend's.

This shampoo smells amazing. I really like the colorful packaging. after my first use of this shampoo along with the conditioner , I was like "where has this been all my life?"

My hair felt soft and silky and extremely easy to style. However after a few weeks worth of use I found my hair felt straw like. and didn't actually look that healthy. the shampoo didn't actually impress me all that much . the pros were it did reduce hair fall out. But I didn't like long term how it made my hair feel. so I used the conditioner and swapped the shampoo and found it really suited my hair better. then between washes went back to using this shampoo. I properly wouldn't repurchase this. It wasn't a bad product, just found it didn't really suit me.

I have been using this shampoo for just over 2 weeks with the conditioner from the same range. First id like to point out I have thick wavy/curly hair and it can get a bit out of control. The first week i loved this shampoo, it made my hair feel smooth and soft. The bottle says to massage it gently focusing on the scalp which is what i did. I find it very hard to get a good shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out. I used it every day but then when i got into the 2nd week it started to dry my hair out and just feel yuck and dry , so i cut back to using it every second day but even then it just kept feeling yuck and dry , i don't know if it was because my hair got used to it or what but it just wasn't a nice feeling. I love how the smell of this shampoo is a bit more stronger then the conditioner it keeps your hair smelling nice! The packaging stands out and states what the product is. I am yet to see less fall out which is what the product is aimed at which is a bit disappointing , so i will keep using it till it has finished and if there is any thing else to add, i will defiantly be adding it to my review. You get a lot of product for your money as you don't have to use a lot as it foams up quite nicely , in saying that if i was to buy it i would only buy it on special. I would still recommend it to a friend even though it hasn't done what it was ment to for me, you never know it might work for some one else.
