“While a lone ingredient can be effective, compatible actives working in synergy can be even more so...”   Kati Kasza, Evolu.

The one thing me and The Husband have in common is we're 'blend' snobs.  I literally just asked him "single malt or blended?" and he replied 'That's a silly question.  Single malt for life'.  I feel the same way about oils.  I tend to go for a 'pure' oil, like Rosehip than a blend.  Or so I thought...

You see, rosehip oil is an amazing gift from nature.  Rosehip oil is the ultimate skin-rejuvenator due to its high content of Vitamin A, having the power to regenerate and restructure skin cells. It stimulates collagen production, which helps plump the skin up, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.  Rosehip oil fights sun spots and eventually makes them fade, helps heals wounds, fights rednes by shrinking the capillaries beneath the skin’s surface and makes skin supple and firm.  This oil is absorbed by skin extremely quickly, penetrating its deepest layers.

I honestly thought you couldn't get any better than pure Rosehip Oil.

And then.  We got our hands on the brand new to market release from Evolu.  Rosehip and Friends.  I stand corrected.  The Husband and I have nothing in common.

Wait til you hear about the benefits of this beautiful Rosehip blend.  In fact...wait until you try it!

This 100% natural formulation brings together the exceptional properties of Rosehip, Argan, Grapeseed, Pomegranate and Kiwifruit Seed oils. These five plant-oil ‘friends’ complement each other perfectly, to deliver an instant radiance boost, day after day.

  • Rosehip - softening, repairing multi-tasker
  • Argan - brightening/nourishing star active
  • Grapeseed - antioxidants, hydrating
  • Pomegranate - antioxidants, protective
  • Kiwifruit seed - vitamin C + omega-3

Working in sync, they help nourish, defend and repair while also brightening and vitalising the skin. True to Evolu’s technical craft, the product’s texture is lightweight, non-greasy, and soaks in quickly, so you can directly apply your make-up afterwards.

So - it sounds fabulous, and the crew are already in love with it, but what will our Expert Review Panel think of it?  25 reviewers will find out!

Why not tell us about your rosehip oil experiences?  Do you regularly use rosehip oil?  Do you usually use pure rosehip oil or a blend?  Or maybe you're not on board the rosehip train?  Why would you like to take Rosehip and Friends out for a spin?

Ive tried a few different facial oils and i don't know if its me or my environment but i always seem to find the smell of them a little off putting? Im wondering if they go off quick or is it me I'm not sure. Maybe a blend would be the way to go for a better smell and then maybe id use it a bit more lol?

That sounds like a powerhouse of ingredients - kiwi especially is supposed to be excellent for fading sun spots. And I love Evolu....so of course would love to try this formula!

Love the "& friends" take - love a good blend. My skin is oily/combination, but I still use an oil serum every second night.

I've only tried one facial oil(The Body Shop Oils of Life Revitalising Facial Oil). I have not yet tried a Rosehip Oil, but am interesting that this one fights redness. May have to try this one, I think adding a Rosehip Oil to my routine could be quite beneficial.

I'm a huge fan of rosehip oil - and it was Evolu who started the love affair. However, I then switched to a Trilogy blend, wanting to get more good things on my skin in one step. I'd love to try this and see if I can return to my first love, Evolu!

Yes please! I would love to try out rosehip oil. I've been using several face oil because living here in New Zealand makes my face so dry whenever I go out.

I love Rosehip oil. It's saved my skin. I'd love to see what this one is like.

When I've used a single oil it's usually been rosehip oil, but I definitely prefer blends simply because certain ingredients bring different skincare benefits to the table and I like targeting more skin concerns in one skincare step. I have to say rosehip is and has been my current fave of skincare oil and has been featured in most blends I use. I would love to use this because I want to see how it compares in lightweightness and absorbtion speed to another beloved brand that make fabulous skincare oils. I don't think I've used kiwifruit seed oil either and I'd like to see what it results I can get with the vitamin C content.

I'm a massive lover of Rosehip Oils especially as I've had really good results with brands like Trilogy and Akin being the best I've tried so far and have given rave reviews. Would be great to see how this oil compares with them.

I've always liked the trilogy rosehip oil (it was the first one that I've tried after my mum introduced it to me). But the one thing out of the whole article that jumped out at me is KIWIFRUIT seed oil! Never heard of that but would you look at that! Vitamin C and omega 3!

If this doesn't contain any essential oils, I will be putting it on my purchase list!

This sounds really interesting -I am currently using rosehip and a serum which does help my skin -A blended product probably has a better scent as I do struggle with rosehip on it's own for the scent .As I have an older skin I am always looking for a product that has it all to make life easier and my skin brighter and younger of course.
