Do you want a more powerful Rosehip Oil experience?

“While a lone ingredient can be effective, compatible actives working in synergy can be even more so...”   Kati Kasza, Evolu.

The one thing me and The Husband have in common is we're 'blend' snobs.  I literally just asked him "single malt or blended?" and he replied 'That's a silly question.  Single malt for life'.  I feel the same way about oils.  I tend to go for a 'pure' oil, like Rosehip than a blend.  Or so I thought...

You see, rosehip oil is an amazing gift from nature.  Rosehip oil is the ultimate skin-rejuvenator due to its high content of Vitamin A, having the power to regenerate and restructure skin cells. It stimulates collagen production, which helps plump the skin up, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.  Rosehip oil fights sun spots and eventually makes them fade, helps heals wounds, fights rednes by shrinking the capillaries beneath the skin’s surface and makes skin supple and firm.  This oil is absorbed by skin extremely quickly, penetrating its deepest layers.

I honestly thought you couldn't get any better than pure Rosehip Oil.

And then.  We got our hands on the brand new to market release from Evolu.  Rosehip and Friends.  I stand corrected.  The Husband and I have nothing in common.

Wait til you hear about the benefits of this beautiful Rosehip blend.  In fact...wait until you try it!

This 100% natural formulation brings together the exceptional properties of Rosehip, Argan, Grapeseed, Pomegranate and Kiwifruit Seed oils. These five plant-oil ‘friends’ complement each other perfectly, to deliver an instant radiance boost, day after day.

  • Rosehip - softening, repairing multi-tasker
  • Argan - brightening/nourishing star active
  • Grapeseed - antioxidants, hydrating
  • Pomegranate - antioxidants, protective
  • Kiwifruit seed - vitamin C + omega-3

Working in sync, they help nourish, defend and repair while also brightening and vitalising the skin. True to Evolu’s technical craft, the product’s texture is lightweight, non-greasy, and soaks in quickly, so you can directly apply your make-up afterwards.

So - it sounds fabulous, and the crew are already in love with it, but what will our Expert Review Panel think of it?  25 reviewers will find out!

Why not tell us about your rosehip oil experiences?  Do you regularly use rosehip oil?  Do you usually use pure rosehip oil or a blend?  Or maybe you're not on board the rosehip train?  Why would you like to take Rosehip and Friends out for a spin?

I haven't used rosehip oil yet, even though I managed to grab one on the vault, I gave it to my mum. But I am curious about how well it will treat me skin, especially my acne and pimple scars on my face

I'd love to try this! As someone with (relatively, lol) mature skin, I have lines and sunspots that could do with a good blast!

I have been using Rosehip oil for several years now and also Argan oil, switching it up from time to time. I love how this one is the best of both worlds, as well as other natural extracts. I would love to give this a go, it sounds divine!

I've tried the rosehip oil from Essano before, and I used it until it turned thick and gluggy. It was good for my super sensitive skin! I really wanted to try it out because I'd read it was great for sebaceous filaments - something that I have on my nose. I didn't find great results, but I would need to test out more than one brand before making my mind up. Also, if this rosehip oil harnesses the power of argan, grapeseed, pomegranate, and kiwifruit, then all the better! Argan oil is amazing on my eczema ridden skin. It also helps to reduce scarring (from a bad bout of dry skin) so all the better!

I use Trilogy Rosehip oil, it's a great product but I would love to see if this is better, if it can improve my skin

Love using oils on my face, rap in winter!! I have never tried this brand before so would love to give this a go. I apply oil to my face every night in hopes to slow down the aging process haha and this formula sounds really lovely.

I love using rosehip oil during winter when my skin is in need of that hydration boost and my skin drinks it all up - leaving me with soft skin at the morning. This oil sounds really interesting as it combines a few other oils to make it a super oil! I love the idea of the argan giving you a brightening look for your skin as well as the pomegranate to protect which would be super handy for the winter or even working in aircon in the summer!

I have used A'kin and Trilogy rosehip oil. I haven't really seen too many benefits beyond what a moisturiser gives me. But would be keen to try this more powerful rosehip oil to see if there is a difference.

I have two rose hip oil products a moisturizer and an oil. Rose scent is nice the other oils might make the product more light weight or suited to others specific skin types or concerns

Well I guess I'm out on this product as allergic to Kiwifruit.. rats!

17th August, 2017

I love rosehip, the essano brand is what got me into face oil and from there I haven't looked back! Having dry and sensitive skin meant I was wasting money on moisturisers which just weren't working and making my skin a whole lot worse so finding rosehip oil was a bit of a miracle, my skin loves it so to be able to try another brand and see how this stacks up would be great!

i love face oils! and this sounds awesome, im always on the hunt for a new oil to try. I always use oils at night before bed and i dont limit to using just on the face, it goes on the hands, elbows and and any where else feeling a little bit dry.

I love rosehip oil, it makes my skin so soft and really helps with the wrinkles. I'd love to give the powered up version a try!

16th August, 2017

I have always been and still am such a big fan of rosehip oil - absolutely love what this does to my skin, curious to see how it could step up a level, however I am also a lover of argan oil so this does sound like a win to me! Would love to try :)

16th August, 2017

I have tried facial oil (a rosehip oil blend) but I find them not as comforting as cream. The current one I'm using contains kiwifruit seed oil but I don't like very much so very disappointed. Would love to try this one because I really like the Evolu brand, love their body scrub, body butter and my mum loves the day cream but haven't tried this one yet!
