Thanks for the suggestions team! I will try the lemon and chamomile. Purple toner shampoo kind of stuff makes my hair go darker overtime as it's my natural colour (learnt that the hard way). Any tricks to cover up the vinegar smell post-shower? I've been using ACV but maybe that's worst than white vinegar.
For those of you with dirty blonde natural hair, and exercise most mornings - how do you keep your hair looking clean?
I do HITT class or run most mornings, so I sweat a lot. My hair is quite oily anyway, and this darkens the colour of my hair (so much so that an old flatmate used to ask if I'd dyed my hair every other week when I was only washing 2 x a week).
I want to wash it everyday because of the sweat but I know that's bad. Rinsing with water only makes it feel cleaner but still looks dark. A hairdresser suggested ACV rinses which make my hair soft but then I smell subtly like vinegar all day. Dry shampoo is OK during the day but irritates my eyes if I sleep with it still in.
Is there a secret I don't know about or do I just need to get over my hair looking darker 5 days a week?!
