I received a bottle of this in a giveaway long ago. Unfortunately I didn't check the bottle and recently went I pulled it out to use it the dropper top at come apart and it was leaking. Luckily I had finished up another serum that comes in a dropper bottle so I managed to salvage what was left, about a third to a quarter of the bottle, and decant it into the other dropper bottle. I must've gotten a faulty bottle so I can't really comment on the packaging since I didn't use it. The rosehip and acai oil is really nice and light. Like the rosehip oils I have tried in the past this one sinks in and my skin drinks it up. I used to layer on my moisturizer straight after my facial oil but I am giving the oils more time to soak in these days. I haven't had any breakouts as a result of using this and my skin stays nicely moisturized and gets that glow that I get from facial oils. One thing that I do really like about this brand of rosehip oil is that to me it smells better than the bottle of plain Trilogy rosehip oil, but then this is mixed with acai oil so that probably takes away from the slightly fishy smell of just rosehip. That being said I haven't seen my skin get brighter from using this but then I only got one month's use out of what was salvaged, so it'd probably take longer to see results. But while I was using it did soften my fine lines like most facial oils will. It's a good rosehip oil it's just not outstanding because I've seen more facial brightening from other brands or other brands of facial oil have been absorbed my skin much quicker.

Tips: Although at full price this rosehip oil isn't much cheaper than Trilogy as you'd only save a few dollars, however Essano does go on sale more often than Trilogy, so this rosehip oil does become cheaper.
I really, really enjoy this product and I've noticed a dramatic difference in my skin since incorporating this product into my skin care regime.
If I have any noticeably large or irritated pimples I'll apply the oil directly onto them and I find that over a couple of days it reduces/removes the pimple. It's also great for applying to the scar of the pimple and I can see improvement within days.
If I'm not using if for spot treatment as such, I'll just apply a small amount all over the face. Now I actually have oily skin and a lot of people with oily skin wouldn't dream of putting an oil on their skin but it's a dream come true for oily skin!
Often, products that target oily skin strip a lot of the oil (which you'd think you want, right?) but that just mean your skin creates MORE oil to compensate. Therefore, by incorporating an oil into your skin care routine, your skin isn't having to create more oil and therefore, my skin has been LESS oily since using an oil in my skincare routine. (lol how many times can I say oil/oily in one review hahah)
I don't love the scent of this product, but that it my only downside!
I have combination skin, dry on the cheeks/chin and normal to oily everywhere else. The oil helps a lot on the normal/oily bits but I found it just sits on the dry skin and doesn't do much, even when I have exfoliated. My Dad loves this stuff, he uses it to treat his psoriasis.
I wish so badly that I could write a good review for this product! I've heard SO many stories about how rosehip oil is a miracle product and has saved so many women from issues ranging from wrinkles to acne scarring and everything in between. Well, I've gone through a whole bottle of the stuff and noticed zero difference in my sensitive-combination skin. It provided my skin with a good amount of moisture after cleansing, but other than that I saw no improvements in terms of my skin's redness, scarring, etc. The results I've had from this product have been the same as I'd get from any cheap moisturiser. Going back to my favourite moisturiser, Celestial by Lush, instead.
Firstly I love the brand Essano so of course I had no hesitation in buying their Rosehip Oil.
I love the packaging of this oil, as most oils a dropper is used to extract the oil from the bottle and squeeze onto your hand.
I really liked using this Rosehip Oil - I have dry skin and I like that Rosehip is a tad thicker than other oils. It gives my skin the hydration it needs and I found it gave the dewy look I needed under my foundation. It also made my skin feel smooth and soft. The only times I didn't find it necessary to wear this oil was in really warm weather and this would feel a bit heavy on my face under my foundation.
My only little niggle about this oil is the scent. It wasn't bad by all means, but when you first apply it, it reminds me of the scent of popcorn or a nutty scent. I also think for the price it would be nice if it came in a 30-50ml bottle. I found 20ml got used up really quickly.
Used this for a few days on my face but I stopped using it because it made my skin a little red. Feels heavy on the skin. Hard to blend in. Instead of throwing it out I have been using it on my stomach stretch marks for about a month and haven't noticed a difference.
I really wanted this product to work on my skin but I do find it too heavy. After a week of daily use I started to break out. I’ve still got the bottle and will use occasionally on a lazy night but I wouldn’t purchase again. I have used Evolu Rosehip oil in the past and found that both a better texture and smell.
I do use cleansing oils on my combination skin and have no problems with them.
A very accessible price however and available widely at the supermarket. I’m sure it does suit other skin types - just not mine.
I like this Rosehip oil, it is easy to purchase and has a good price point at the supermarket. I use it after derma-rolling, and in my opinion it helps to heal my old acne scars and reduce the redness of the derma-rolling.
I love Essano so I had high expectations for this product. The thing I first noticed is the smell - it's very overpowering and probably not for people who are sensitive to scents. This is especially surprising since the other Essano products that I've used have a gentle scent. While it's scent isn't "bad" it takes some getting used to, especially if the oil is applied on the face and around the nose.
The packaging is very convenient, and the dropper ensures a clean application (as opposed to normal bottle where the oil is poured straight from the bottle which is very messy and can get the product everywhere). However because the oil is not very thick it can drip from the dropper at random meaning the application process has to be fast and done somewhere you wouldn't mind getting a little messy (e.g. over the sink). The bottle is quite small and I find I go through a bottle relatively quickly and have to replace it often, however this isn't really an issue as it's a very affordable product.
Onto the product itself: I've been using it on my face over the dry flaky parts for a couple of months now (and sometimes use it on dry patches on my arms and legs, such as elbows and knees). I apply it every night before I go to sleep. I have noticed a big difference in my skin, and it is now a lot less dry and the dry flaky areas are almost completely gone. My face also suffers from lots of breakouts, and while I haven't found that the oil reduces the breakouts, the skin around the blemishes seems calmer and less red and irritated. My skin is very sensitive so when I first apply it my cheeks can go a little red, however it's gone within a couple of minutes and when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels very healthy and glowy and the redness around my breakouts has been minimised. A little of this oil can go a long way, and you only need a couple of drops for your whole face, as it is very moisturising and it takes a minute or so to absorb into your skin. A huge plus of this product is that it's not thick at all and once it is applied and absorbed I can't feel it on my skin.
Overall, I am a huge fan of this product (although the smell gets a major thumbs-down) and I would definitely repurchase this again.
Tips: - the oil tends to drip randomly from the dropper so the application process has to be quick - it's very moisturising so a little can go a long way
I thought I would tak a break from my super expensy trilogy face oil and see how this compared. (It's over half the price)! Sadly, I found it didn't absorb well and left my skin feeling greasy and coated. Also the scent was overpowering and not in the least light. I wouldn't purchase again
