Trilogy Age Proof CoQ10 Booster Oil

I was excited to try this product, and have used it faithfully, twice daily for over a week, and sadly have to report that I can see no difference whatsoever.

Was excited to try this one but have to say not to impressed. The smell of this product was a real put off for me, and it kind of left my skin feeling greasy, and took a while to absord. Didn't really notice any great change in my skin either.

I really wasn't impressed with this product because I found it too greasy and I really didn't enjoy the smell either. I didn't find that it absorbed easily into my skin like it said it would. It felt nice on the backs of my hands but that's about it, couldn't stand the feel on my face or palms of my hands.

I may recommend to others if they have dry/aging skin - I don't and that could most probably be my problem, but I got given a small sample of it and thought why not try it :)

This has come to be my favorite product in the ‘It’s all about you’ BBBE. After three days of applying this serum morning and night, I felt that my skin was looking so much more radiant and brighter than usual. So much so that I asked someone near and dear to me if they agreed, to which they replied “Yeah, I was actually thinking that earlier today.”

This serum comes in a teeny 20ml bottle with a dropper dispenser. It has a very herbal scent, kinda reminds me of tea-tree oil, but not as strong as.

It’s a very oily oil, so you need to give it a good amount of time to soak into your skin before applying anything over top of it. Because of this it’s extremely hydrating, as hydrating as it gets. So it may be a little heavy for day-time wear if you intend to wear a full face of makeup over top, and stay matte.

Personally I don’t mind all that oiliness during the day if i’m going makeup free, as it has such a brightening, smoothing and soothing effect, that it makes my skin look really youthful.

I’m really loving this serum, however I’d ordinarily feel very reluctant to spend close to $50 on such a little bottle of product. I will probably seek out something similar that’s a bit lower cost... But if I couldn’t find something comparable at the right price, I just might consider splashing out on this serum in future, or if I happen to come across a good offer on it.

I thought the smell was pleasent but a bit strong. I got this as part of the BBBE All About You Box. I really like this product as it absorbs into your skin really well but doesnt leave it feeling oily. It is great if you have dry skin like me. However this product is really expensive so unfortunatly i will be struggling to buy it again once i have run out. You also may need more than 2 or 3 drops for both face and neck if you have dry skin like me. I use 4 drops and that just covers my face.

I have a high opinion of Trilogy so was happy to try the serum. It comes in a brown, standard dropper bottle - pretty ordinary but effective.

The serum is golden and exactly like all of the oils I've tried in the past few years. It is soft and shiny on my skin and moderately hydrating. It is full of beautiful oils.

I can't say I noticed an immediate difference, but I've been using it every day for a while now and I like how lovely and smooth it makes my skin feel.

I would give it a higher score if it weren't for the smell. For me it is just a little 'herby' - not my favourite kind of scent.

Luckily I have purchased a second "It's all About You" BBBE so I have a second bottle and can give it a very long trial to see how much difference it makes long term. I'm certainly happy to use it! At $48.90 I'm not sure that I would purchase it, but may change my mind by the time I've finished my second bottle, as I have to say, so far it's one of those products that I like more and more the longer I use it.

I got this in a set that Trilogy has as minis which had this mini 5mls a cleanser & face cream all from the Age Proof range. Rrp was $17.99 on sale. I'M reviewing the serum. A little brown/frosted bottle with a pinter tincture lid. Grey label covers the bottle with product information. I found the scent to be bearable & smelling like something natural. The fluid is an amber liquid which is typical of most if not all serums I've come across this far. Consistency is oily but not sticky slimy oil just a fluid that has an oily texture. Effects when using this I find it absorbs quickly not instantly but it does absorb in good time. I noticed it rehydrate my face using it combined with the range of Trilogy age proof products. My skin showed signs of rejuvenation & the 5mls lasted me a month of using night only because I use foundation daily I tend not to use serums during the day in fear of the makeup slip sliding. My skin enjoyed this product there signs if hydration & smoothness to my skins appearance & texture. With no breakouts. I'd happily repurchase before other brands that are more exspensive but to my liking because it's results however I have found a serum in a more affordable price range that does wonders for my skin. Although if Trilogy online was having their sales with this as an sales item Id be sure to purchase it that way.

I have oily - combination skin and have been using this serum every second night. Every night is a bit too much for my skin. Just a few drops after double cleansing my skin works wonders! I don't put on anything else before bed. Smell is mild and pleasant, colour is like most other serums out there.

Full of great oils, and Trilogy is a brand I have found be able to trust!

With my skin type, using it without anything else has been beneficial. If I used it more often or with additional moisturisers I would probably break out. (yes even in my 40s!)

I do love a great Trilogy product and this is a great one to be sure. While it is not on the cheap side I feel with the results you get it is really value for money. It comes in a wee glass bottle with an eye dropper type applicator. The product is a beautiful amber colour with a scent of natural oil, not offensive at all. I use a couple of drops on my face and one for my decollatge each evening, and I have seen such awesome results. My skin looks and feels soft and smooth and fine lines are not as noticeable. The Age Proof range is designed for older skin and has particular products in them for this particular age group. I would not recommend this for a younger persons skin as they may not get the results intended.

I’m usually a regular user of Trilogy’s Rosehip range but when my skin took a dive recently with the stresses of life and lockdown I decided to try this oil and see if it could bring back my glow and fade the wrinkles a little.

I’ve always loveD the packaging of Trilogy, and Age Proof follows the same packaging but is grey/silver/purple packaging to standout from the other ranges. While I’m still reluctant to admit I fit in the age range Targeted for the Age Proof products, I can’t deny my skin definitely loves and gets the nourishment this Age Proof oil promises.

I use this oil morning and night after a hyaluronic acid product and my skin feels amazing. As the advertising States, after the first use my skin felt hydrated, plumped up and the wrinkles that were prominent had taken a back seat to my healthy glowing skin. It only takes a couple of drops to get coverage for face and neck, so like the other Trilogy oils, this product lasts well.

I followed application with a moisturiser and then a bb cream and my skin stayed hydrated all day. At night using this oil I found my skin felt hydrated and clear the next morning. It’s brilliant and very quickly turned my skin around to a healthier and happier place. I love their Rosehip oils but I really love the extras this oil delivers

I will definitely keep this product in my routine as I really like the results and also that it’s a product that longer term targets the challenges with skin in my fabulous forties, like collagen production and skin repair .....and I love the glow and boost it gives my skin on a daily basis - it just gets me. The added bonus is that I’m also supporting a Kiwi brand still making their products in NZ too!
