Love a good mist toner

Just spray, and walk away! Sort of. I've been using this mist toner for over a month now and I 'think' I love it? After I cleanse and dry my face I spritz it on and wait a few seconds before pressing it into my skin. It's light and refreshing, especially after a workout. I follow it up with whatever moisturiser I'm currently using and I'm good to go. I find it has helped my moisturiser sink in quicker and doesnt effect my skin type at all. Highly recommended.

I agree it is a light scent but very refreshing and theven sprayer itself is nice too

It's quite a light scent. But really refreshing. I do tend to use coconut oil on my lips at night too because I love the smell too!

How strong is the coconut scent hun? Is it a slight scent or strong? I really like the sound of this especially as I love coconut.

Woweeee

I got this amazing brow pomade from the BR beauty vault this time. I didn't really know what a brow pomade was, but considered it likely to be a product like a gel that hold brows in place. It is, but it's much more

The product comes firstly in a cool little black box, and inside it a gorgeous little glass pot with a black plastic screw top. It looks like a small solid perfume container.

The product shade that i got is caramel, and is a good shade to complement my dark eye brows. It is a darkish brown.

I've been applying it with various different brushes to try and get the width right, and I'm getting more adept at using it.After applying it a rub around the edges with tissue to remove any excess and it doesn't remove any more than I intend it to, so it works very well. I love the result. It looks the way my eye brows look when they are freshly dyed. It does last all day.

It washes off with whatever I'm cleaning my face with at the end of the day.

$19.50 seems like a good price considering you use so little of the product each time. I do recommend trying it.

I hope she loves it Keri :)

Good review I'm having to buy one for my daughter so based on your review I'm sure it'll be what needed and the price is fair.

I wouldn't have tried it if I hadn't have been lucky enough to get it from the beauty vault Macs, but I'm glad I did. You'd do well with it because you have great makeup skills. I'm a bit wobbly but I'm slowly getting better at it.

I've been waiting for a review to determine whether or not I should buy this. I haven't tried promade yet.

Only using on my face

While everyone seems to describe the scent differently to what I can smell to me this balm smells and feels like vaseline it had me a little stumped at first thinking what can this do that vaseline doesn't ? Well it surely showed me up I'm only using it on my face as a night balm once applying it I notice that it does melt & a little goes a long way for me it seems to liquify like an oil. It takes its time to absorb just like an oil aswell. However upon rising in the morning I notice my skin is supple & hydrated. There has been no break outs since it's an oil balm imo & can only say good things for what's it's done to my skin as a night time skincare routine. Since I've only been using it as a skincare treatment Id probably repurchase. I wouldn't have known about the product without BR & only reached for it as I ran out of my face oil. Its been a win win.

I'll give it a try on my face tonight then Keri. I love it on my feet!!!

Sounds nice

Great & affordable

This frosted glass bottle has eye appeal it has a white pincher lid that's a tincture dropper to disperse the product. The product itself is a amber coloured fluid that is am actual oil. The oil has a genuine roship fragrance & is oily but easily absorbs into your skin. A little goes a long way and there's no need to get a full tincture just one drop spreads ontoy entire face and neck & my face is quite big. The effects of use over 1 month saw my skin becoming softer, plump & hydrated. With less noticeable wrinkles & some light corrcion fo pigmentation. As I got to the end of the bottle in month 2 of daily use my skin appeared to be in even better condition. This sealed my decision that this affordable prodct needs to be in my routine. Although I'm a fan of dry oil & love the Estee lauder ANR serum this is a great counterpart for when my budget is unable to meet the highend product.

I need some new oil, this sounds lovely! Great review Keri x

Estee Lauder serum & another brand Sabore serum has an oily consistency but once it touches the skin it absorbs immediately & leaves no oily slickness which in my term is a dry oil the EL assistant also explained it as a dry oil

What's a dry oil Keri?

Trilogy

Does anyone remember Blackmore skincare range? I do it came in a mint blueish packaging I use to use it as a teenager it was my first skincare range ever. Why I mention this is because this product has the same scent as the range Balckmores, which had marshmallow in it aswell as ylang-ylang. The product had me sold on purchasing when seeing the word hyaloronic acid. It also has a very peculiar consistency it's gluggy slimey & thick not your normal fluid texture. Which is something to get use to however there's no wastage like a normal liquid toner which can absorb into your cotton pad this sits on the surface of the pad & absorbs into the skin once you've had time to apply it to your skin in sweeping motions. Now I've got the consistency out of the way & the scent being quite nice freshly fragrant & soothing to the senses time to get on with the performance and effects. Soothing to the skin it has a non intrusive feeling & so light once applied to my face even though it's slimy, thick & gluggy it's quite nice to apply. My skin seems to absorb the goodness of this toner & this toner even takes any residual grime on my skin after cleansing away from my skin. It leaves my skin hydrated & calm theres no tightening of my skin nor any stripping quite the reverse however the greatness of this toner it doesn't reduce the size of my pores, I'm putting my pore size down to lack of water in my diet & the fatty foods I eat. This actually leaves a layer on my skin if hydration especially at night I have sometimes not used a night serum & my skin will feel good still in the morning. I haent noticed some changes to my skin nothing radical but it is noticeable.

What I can also say is the consistency leaves you no room for wastING & with the bottle being a generous size there's alot of use in one bottle 1 months use 2x per day still sees me sitting 3/4 of a bottle fill. For an indication of how long this would last. would I repurchase yes I would.

If you look online they often have sales & gwp which I forgot to state I hope you enjoy it

This sounds amazing! I've been wanting to try more Trilogy products so I might start with this one :)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade Review

ABH dipbrow

I received as part of a swap I did this year. I find its so exspensive here although it's $18 USD that's exspensive to Americans. I have very defined brows naturally, there are some gaps that I've found this connects &joins; my whole brow look. It can get quite harsh fast so light hands with light strokes is best aswell as going over with a foundation brush or blender & dabbing to soften your brows. Packaging : a cute glass pottle with a black lid embellished with the Anastasia logo, almost represents a butterfly. Contents: compacted coloured cream substance. Very firm to touch but picks up easy with a brush that swatches pigmented & as if a cream to gel type formula.... Effects: it seems like there is only a little bit of product to the untrained brow pomade user. Luckily for me I'd used a sample of a brow butter & from experience I had a very little bit in a pottle however it turned out to be loads. Therefore this product being packed into a jar is suffice for more uses then indicated of the best by date. A little but goes a long way. I pick it up with a small angled stuff brush then sweep into my brows I like to go from the arch down to the tail & then hit the front of my brows this way the defined dark bit's are where should be with my first half of my brows have that subtle soft natural look. The pomade is like butter it spreads out & softens on the skin so softly however it gives the brows the definition they deserve tying in the brow look. I like to use this post the brow whiz and set it with a brow gel. After which I use a blender st the end of my foundation application & just dab it over my brows to soften any harshness.

Tips: Use combined with the brow whiz and set with a brow gel then soften it off with a foundation brush that has any left over foundation on it or blender. Tidy up outside of brows with concealer and brush. Keep lid tightly shut after each use. Go in light handed &try; to mimic your natural brow hairs. Maintain brows to make this whole thing easier.

Hi there I have brows to me I feel like they're black. The shade I have is ash brown and it's a good shade for for filling but when I overdraw my brows it's not quite right so dark brown or chocolate would suit me I feel.

Keri, can I ask what colour brows you have? Trying to figure out which colour will be the best match for me

Dark spots diminished

I have a deluxe size of this a little goes a long way & I need the full size maybe in future. For now the size I have is showing to work on two age spots I have literally they're reverting & I'm so happy. This little plastic bottle is blue not transperant so you don't know how much is inside , also has no applocator so you can pour too much thankfully it's not too runny that you can scoop the excess product back up if this isn't hygienic I apologize. It's a yellow creme that's thick not transparent but has some liquid fluidity to it. I apply onto my 2 spots dabbing it in then leaving it to absorb into my spots. I've seen my spots literally break down what were quite dark are becoming almost skin toned & are breaking up not so solid more patchy. Sorry about my description but it's what I see. A solid brown spot becoming skin tone & instead being soli it's breaking up. Anyone with age spots should give this product a go . I reccomend getting the deluxe size because a full size is quite pricey from using the deluxe size you can tell before the end if it's doing its thing or not. I don't apply any other product until at least 30 minutes post application of this product to reduce any interference to this product.

Yes this is good when using this you mist always use spf on your face otherwise you'll ruin what you're trying to achieve & make it worse then when you didn't use this. Also I did use this during winter.

Wow, this sounds like a bit of me! I am really keen to try this out, but am going to wait until winter time as I have heard that it can make the skin über sensitive to the sun.

ANR

This has been my favorite from the get go I first tried foil samples of the product, then received a 7ml bottle which is a deluxe size that has enough for a good trial of this amazing serum. Packaging : A little mini semi translucent brown plastic bottle that has a gold lid & gold branding & writing on it. Contents: A yellow almond gold fluid that isn't translucent but goes onto skin clear & absorbs almost instantly. A wet yet dry oil serum that has no slick residue & has a oily scent but nothing offensive or chemically at all almost a slight hint of wheatgerm (Almost). Effects: This is an amazing serum that my skin absorbs & locks in the goodness that this product has to offer. I just love looking at my skin once I've finished applying it because it gives my skin a glow. Then in the morning my skin shows signs of rejuvenation from the pore size to the healthy (again) glow.... I'm just loving the serum so much I use it in conjunction with the Estee lauder colour correct serum anti age spots in a blue bottle. The only down fall for me is the price for a 30ml which is 1 Oz is so fricken exspensive but since it's gives my skin the treatment it needs I'm going to grab me one & Estee lauder always have gwp it seems.

You need to give it a go I'm certain you'll be happy with this product...

Oooh I have a deluxe sample of this, was going to give it away but might have to use it now. I haven't really liked much from Estée Lauder but my skin needs some glow at the moment.

Soft supple skin

I received this in my March BRBB and I've been using it once a week for over almost 2 months.

It comes in simple white packaging with the green Skinfood logo. It's in a squeezable tube which is lovely because I don't enjoy dipping my fingers into pots of product.

I am in love with the scent. I believe my eyes almost popped out of their socket at just how delicious this smells - I can smell lavendar and zesty citrus notes.

When I squeeze out the product a lot does come out which had me worried but the instructions clearly state to "apply in a thick even layer" - woohoo. It's a dirty mousse colour with a thick but spreadable texture.

Everything was going well until I applied it. This stuff seriously stings my eyes. At first I thought I had applied too close to my eyes however there were perfect sugar skull outlines around my eye sockets so I just couldn't understand how something that smells so divine can be so potent.

Once my eyes adjusted I managed to cover my face and the masque started to harden. Your skin can still breathe but it definitely feels tight and the dry masque feels like clay.

I don't wipe off with a warm cloth I just use warm water to reveal lovely soft skin. I've never had a masque that leaves my face feeling supple and renewed so I'm looking forward to repurchasing this.

Tips: It's recommended to use this on cleansed face however I remove my makeup, apply the masque, thoroughly rinse with warm water and then I begin my cleasing routine.

I thought it was jst me but yes I agree this does sting the eyes I preserved thru it to so that I could experience the mask & I'm glad I did.

Dreamy

This is a lovely drugstore brand. I won this & am so happy about it. This is a good sized tube clear with brand logo writing on the outer the lid is black with it being also the applicator which is a doe foot. The applicator is also a longer then usual doe foot & slim. Making it easy to use for application. The lipstick is thick in consistency yet flowing but not too liquidy making it hard to manage. There is no scent that I can tell that is over powering in this product. The shade is a nude brown almost close dupe to serenity by Gerard Cosmetics. This goes on quite wet but dries as quick as it goes on & leaves the lips looking like matte leather that's what I reckon & is a bt tacky but not super tacky. It's quite pigmented & spreadable but not streaky which I like. I don't use a lipliner every time I use this & you really don't need to its doesn't bleed or feather. It's stay power is 6 hours with slight loss of pigmentation. It doesn't seem to dry my lips I like to use this for neutral looks or places where red lipstick is too bold lol. Overall the rave about these is well worth it the formulation of these are one of a kind they're not as good as my Gerard cosmetics formula they're more like a la splash but they don't flake off during wearing & the tacky feeling doesn't cause any stress during the day.
