Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads

I absolutely LOVED these!

The packaging was a simple cardboard box containing three reusable pads. These pads supposedly last for up to 1,000 washes each so you have some serious value in this box!

The pads are gloriously soft and fluffy, without leaving any fluff on your skin when you use them.

I did notice that my mascara did start to mark the pad slightly but I was washing it thoroughly with soap and hot water after every use and it started to fade. I found that I did have to put some effort in with taking off my makeup, even though it claimed you simply swipe the pad across.

Combined with the micellar rose water, the pad did foam/bubble the micellar water up slightly so it felt like it was a cleanser. I also used the pad with my regular cleaner and loved it.

I will definitely keep using these!

Whoever thought of these are genius! I've been using micellar water for a long time now to remove my makeup and usually go through alot of makeup remover pads. The Micellar Reusable Eco Pads come in a pack of 3 they are so soft and gentle on my skin and very durable. At the start I found them a bit slippery to hold but did get used to them and now I love them. They are so easy to clean with just soap and water the makeup just washes off, you just leave them to dry and they are good to use the next day, infact up to 1000 washes which is so good on the environment! The only thing I found was I had to wash the foundation off the eco pad before removing my eye makeup cause it just got too dirty but having it a bit damp didn't matter when removing my eye makeup anyway. I'm really happy I got picked to trial this product and will definitely be purchasing these when I need more.

On opening the box my first thoughts were how soft, fluffy and what a great size these pads were, this also made me concerned that there would be a lot of product wastage from it soaking into the voluptuous pad. This was not the case at all, I only needed a small amount of product and it spread refreshingly over my skin without issue. Lastly, these are of course eco friendly, which is a huge tick.

They do exactly what the say they’ll do. They’re a good size so you can get in a few days before the washing machine, they rinse easily, and the make up comes off so easily. Great packaging, good there are three to manage the cycle while in the wash.

I really like the idea of this product and the fact that they are reusable which is more environmentally friendly. I used to use micellar water on a daily basis to remove my makeup, but I would use the disposable cotton pads. Due to the waste and impact on the environment I switched to using a face halo which is a micro fibre reusable cleansing pad.

I have these reusable eco pads ways to use and gentle on your skin. I use this in conjunction with garnier micellar water. I tip a small align I tot he pad and then swipe a few times over my face to remove my makeup. I then cleanse my face like normal in the shower. I find this works exactly like the disposable cotton pads. It removes my makeup in the same way. It’s actually better as I find these more gentle on my face. These pads are super soft and gentle.

There are two sides to the pad. I haven’t worked out what the difference is apart from the fact that one side is pink and one side is white. The pink side is ever so slightly softer but it still removes my makeup in the same way and I don’t notice any difference.

To clean my pad I use dove soap and run it under hot water. It cleans it pretty well. If there are stubborn stain I’ll just chuck this in the washing machine.

I’ve used this for waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick and it’s removed it without any trouble too. For a full face of makeup I find I need to use both side of the pad. There are three in the pack which lasts ages as I really only need one seeing as they are reusable and I wash mine daily.

Overall I’ve really enjoyed using these and they are a really affordable price too. I highly recommend these if you want to be more environmentally friendly

I love seeing mainstream brands ditching reusables and moving into more eco friendly products!

These pads works amazingly at removing all traces of makeup from the day including mascara and eyeliner.

It does say to use these with their micellar water, however my preference was to use this with water alone initially and go over any hard to remove spots with the micellar water afterwards and this left me feeling super fresh and clean.

The pads are super plush and soft and feeling amazing on the skin, they do not tug or feeling abrasive at all when being used. The only downside is that the 2 layers of plush material move around separately from each other so I felt like I had to fold it in half to get a really good grip and range of motion - not a biggy and didn't impact how well they worked.

They wash well, just chuck it in with a regular load and then they are good t go again - however my mascara did leave some slight black stains on the white

Overall I'm a big fan and think everyone should have these and ditch the single use make up pads and wipes! Better for your skin and better for the environment

These Eco pads are amazing, sustainable, and stylish. They are super soft, removes makeup effectively and very easy to use. I like that they are reusable and can be washed up to 1000 times. I used these pads with the Garnier Micellar Water and found them to be brilliant at removing makeup. The pad does not dry out or irritate my skin. I use one side of the pad for eye make-up, the other side for the rest of my face. They hold the liquid really well, so it needs a good amount of micellar water. It is super easy to wash the pad with water and a small amount of soap. Overall, they are brilliant for the skin and the environment. I am really impressed with the product and would recommend it.

I was so excited for these Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads, every time I use a cotton pad I'm thinking that I could be doing something better—however, I feel that these didn't live up to expectations...

First of all, when I took the pads out of the packaging they were really soft, I was excited to try them and really wanted to love them.

When using these to remove a full face of makeup, I felt it did not live up to their claims of removing makeup without rubbing/pulling, due to the way the fabric stretched and how they were constructed which caused each side to slide together making it frustratingly difficult, you need a very firm hand or even the use of two hands to get the job done.

Once I'd managed to get my makeup off, rinsing these out was nice and easy, of course, there will be residue left on the pad however, I'm sure with a deep clean it'll come out no problem.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend these as they stand today, however, if they made some changes to them (for example stitching the two sides together properly to prevent slipping) then for the price point I would definitely give them another go—but for now, it's a no from me.

These are definitely some of the cutest reusable pads I’ve seen, they’re white on one side and baby pink on the other. Also...VERY SOFT! I can’t really emphasize that enough, in fact, I was worried the washing machine would harden them up, but thankfully, they were just as soft coming out. They’re super handy for removing makeup, and given they’re so soft, I felt less stress with the dreaded rubbing motion on my face knowing that the pad was doing most of the work and not damaging my skin.

I don’t have anything to compare reusable pads to, but overall I’d say these are a great, affordable option for reusable makeup removers. You definitely need product with them, but I will keep using them and will likely purchase more so I have enough for an entire week.
