Palmolive Aroma Therapy Anti-Stress Shower Gel Review

So when I see the word anti-stress and aromatherapy my eyes bulge and I must have it! When reading it on a bottle of body wash it's a bit new and unseen at least by lil ole me. I of course smelt the body wash because unless it smells amazing it doesn't get a free ride in my supermarket trolley.

The purple bottle.....eye candy! Purple is my fave colour besides black so that's four boxes ticked so far: purple....tick, aromatherapy.....tick, anti-stress.....tick, smells divine.....BIG TICK! Get in my trolley! I couldn't wait to try this and get the results promised on the label. I am not a big fan of the shape of the bottle because it's hard to hold with soapy and slippery hands I can't count how many times I have dropped it and broke the cap!

I squirt a generous amount on to my loofah and loofah my body till I am soaped up. The smell that fills the bathroom is beyond heavenly. It certainly suits the aromatherapy label on it. After rinsing my skin felt hydrated and smooth and gave me a very clean feeling. The question which is wanted answered most of all. Do I feel de-stressed? Yes indeed I do after using this everytime. It excites the senses and clears a cloudy head even on the worst of days.

I love that the gel like liquid is purple which matched the bottle and gives me something pretty to see on my shower shelf. The smell on my skin lasts nearly all day even after a run or walk. I am hooked on this now but then my choice has always been Palmolive products when it comes to bodywash. A+ grade from me!

I found this for a few dollars and bought it only because it smelt nice. I did not except the anti stress to work

when I tried it I was blown away!!! it works and that's the honest truth. I believe the anti stress but have something to do with the smell but i honestly don't know for sure

the only thing i do know for sure is when i find it again i am buying in bulk!

I am a person who stresses ALOT and when I was pregnant with my son the stress only got worse, and the hardest part is trying not to stress because its not good for the baby. Now finding this was totally unexpected but when I saw the packaging of the shower gel that is what reeled me in! The purple bottle looks like it can promise things plus more and it advertised it being an anti-stress gel? I was sold! I am a sucker for purple and pretty things!

It lathers very well and a small amount of gel makes a big soapy lather, its fantastic for loofas as it makes a bubbly soapy mess. Im not a lavender type of person but the smell is very pleasant, its not too strong and it has a subtle smell of Vanilla in it, and I love Vanilla products in any shape and form.

I didn't think it had anything to do with de-stressing but it did make me feel more relaxed and calm compared to before hoping into the shower with this gel.

I love using this as a soap in my foot spa, only a few drops mixed with a little coconut oil and its the perfect foot spa treatment, not too much though or it can create a big bubble mess!

I have brought a few bottles of these and I highly recommend this shower gel, it will make you feel refreshed, relaxed and less stressed than before you used this.

A warm relaxing shower is extremely important to help me unwind and wash off a hard day at work or just a day in general. Theres nothing more satifying than standing under warm water running down yur body and the smell of floral aromas around the shower.

This shower gel is thick and smells amazing with lots of floral fragrances presents. I only need a small amount of this gel on a sponge and the foaming action is almost immediate. It feels gentle and soft on the skin whilst showering but even more amazing when get out of the shower.

My skin is left soft and rejuvenated so I dont even need to apply lotion to my skin which is especially helpful during winter when I just want to jump into my pjs as fast as I can.

Its a reasonable price for $500ml and between myself and my husband it lasts us a good month which a personally thick is excellent value for money.

I purchased this product for $6 at New World after wanting it for ages, having seen it advertised on television. As Palmolive is a reliable brand in New Zealand, I trusted that this product would be good.

Firstly it comes in a gorgeous attractive purple 500ml bottle, with the distinctive Palmolive logo. I find purple a relaxing colour without it having to do anything else.

I fumbled with the lid for a minute before figuring out how it opened. But once it opened I was greeted by a delicious aroma.

Now I know the bottle says shower gel, but for me relaxing equals bath, so this product in my household is a bath gel – sorry Palmolive! So after running some lovely hot baths, in goes a generous squirt (and by squirt I mean a big blob plops into the water, as it is a very gel-ly gel). The gorgeous scent immediately pervades the senses. The water softens and my muscles and bones feel like they soften with it. Very relaxing.

After leaving the bath my skin is lovely and clean and soft, and maintains the beautiful smell for some time afterwards. Likewise the bathroom and hallway also enjoy the lingering scent – beautiful!

The product claims to use the best ingredients from nature to leave skin clean and noticeably softer. Enriched with essential oil of almond and essence of vanilla to nourish and cleanse skin in one easy step. Well my skin always feels clean and soft afterwards and it seems likely this can be attributed to the almond oil and vanilla.

It always feels like a win when a product that is economical and easy to use does a better than anticipated job, and this product is certainly a winner. I say buy it for yourself and buy some to gift to family and friends – you won’t regret it.

Having fallen in love with this product, I have also added some of the other Palmolive shower products to my list of things I want.

I love a lot of the delicious Palmolive shower gels, but the often have something missing, this one ticks all my boxes. Aroma - love it, colour - My all time favourite, bottle - I can turn it upside down to get the last of it (FINALLY!!) The consistency is just right for me too, not too thick, not too runny. Lathers up well. Leaves my skin feeling nice, clean and nourished. All of these factors are the Anti-stress for me. I'll be purchasing it again.

I picked this up at countdown on special for $3! Great shower gel, smells lovely and lathers up nicely. The bottle is a generous size and I love how the smell lingers on my skin afterwards. This is definately one of my favourites from Palmolive and I would buy it again

When this product first came out I knew I had to try it out, at the time it was quite expensive, when I did get around to using the product, OMG i felt so lushious. It was like silk and just applied generously all on my body, the scent is so amazing which stuck to me all day, the product can be quite consuming as the product literately pours out of its bottle if not shut properly. Absolutely love the product though

One of my favourite body washes! It foams up really well and smells so nice, it really does relax me when I use this. I love that the smell stays on my skin for a long time after my shower. It comes in a decent size bottle and it is a great price so will always continue to buy it.

Not only do I love the scent of this body wash but it makes your skin soft and smell nice. I'd love to find a perfume with the exact same scent as this, it's my favourite.
