This is my HG makeup remover!!!

Ive been hooked on this product for at least the last 2 years. It is amazing!! I hate any trace of makeup left on my skin at night, I use this in the shower and it removes everything with ease. I can get sensitive skin but Clinique products never cause my any issues. No more tugging my eyes with the facecloth to remove my long wear makeup. Its expensive but lasts ages, and Im happy to pay that when something works!!

Tips: I also use the balm first then cleanse as normal. Rub the Balm all over the face, then add water to hands and rub over Balm to create a "oil" type liquid

Take The Day Off Instantly

I absolutely LOVE this product! With it, you are able to remove a full face of make up in no time, with only a small amount of product. The balm is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way, so its very much worth it. This feels much nicer on the skin than face wipes or other liquid removers. Like a mini spa treatment!

Luxury in a Pottle

This product certainly lives up to it's claims. It really does transform quickly from it's solid balm state to a silky fluid. It glides onto the skin & a little goes a long way, which is just as well as it comes with a "luxury" price tag. (my pottle was $64 not the $55 RRP; I guess I should've shopped around) Never the less this product is worth it's weight in gold as it effortlessly removes all makeup & doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy afterwards. It has a very mild scent & the packaging is classy. Clinique has come up with another winner in my books. It has been added to my wish list for when I run out.

A jar of gold

I had to try it to believe it. This stuff is legendary. I first heard about pre-cleansing balms from Caroline Hirons, UK beauty guru. I gave this a go as we can't get Liz Earle PreCleansing Balm here in NZ (which is what Caroline recommends). I rubbed this lard like substance all over my face and on my eyes. Everything came off - and I wear a full face all day, including waterproof mascara. I'm astonished. No more makeup wipes/makeup remover/cotton pads. This stuff takes the whole lot off, so when I move onto cleansing, I'm ready to go. My skin is the best it's been in years, in part, I know, to this product (I follow up with Cetaphil Cleanser FYI, which I also swear by!). I will never be without this product.

Tips: Ask for a teeny sample at Farmers, they'll give you one, so you can try before you buy! Apply half a teaspoon of this with DRY fingertips to a DRY face. Massage it in, rinse it off with warm water, and follow up with your usual cleansing routine. You'll love it!

Expensive but oh-so-worth it!

I believe you can't go back to any other makeup remover or method after this. It so so good. Takes off all makeup including waterproof stuff in one go. Clinique products are so worth that huge price tag. This one leaves my skin lovely, no dryness, no residue, no greasy feeling! How perfect can something be? I'll happily purchase it all my life!

I tried it and wouldn't use anything else! Removes all makeup including mascara. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Also I have really sensitive skin and this is so gentle it doesn't bother my skin at all like a lot of other makeup removers I've tried

Tips: a little goes a long way

HOLY GRAIL

This is hands down the BEST makeup remover out there. I would never go back to using anything else. It is worth its weight in gold. It removes everything, I wear a full face of make up including waterproof mascara everyday and its off in seconds.

Tips: Apply to a dry face with dry hands.

The Best

I am a very very picky consumer. I like to try all the new, bright, pretty products and am a sucker for lovely packaging but I am also easy to disappoint. I rarely repurchase unless the product proves itself and beyond. This cleansing balm from Clinique definitely lives up to its name.

The container is attractive and study, inside is a dense white solid oil which is in my opinion 'white gold'. Scoop out a tiny put to cover one finger tip (or two if you have particularly stubborn makeup) and rub onto your face concentrating on waterproof mascara etc. At this stage it will appear quite oily.

Run the warm water, wet your hands and rub onto your face and this products magically transforms into a creamy texture. Rinse face, use a face towel to dry and you will notice that your makeup is gone and your skin feels neither stripped of moisture or tight... Instead it should feel soft and clean.

I love this stuff, it is so gentle and even if you do get in your eyes it is easy to wash off and does not sting. I have repurchased this twice and though pricey, it is well worth it and the tub is huge!

AMAZING

This make up removing balm is honestly amazing. The consistency is obviously a balm, but when you warm it up by rubbing it between your fingers it turns into an oil. You just rub it onto the area and it gets everything off, just rinse or wipe the area with a wet cloth and it's all gone. So clean, and it doesn't sting when you open your eyes. I haven't noticed a smell or anything. Because it turns into an oil, it means that a little goes a very long way. This product will last a super long time, and it gets off even the most stubborn mascara. I even got foundation and bright red lip stain on white top, and I tried everything to get it out. The only thing that really worked, was this make up remover. It literally pulled it right out and you can't even tell there was anything on it. It may seem a bit pricey, but it will last such a long time, and it works 10x better than any other make up remover I've tried. So I think it's definitely worth it. The packaging makes it seem luxurious and fancy. It looks so clean and pretty. It doesn't dry out your skin and it feels very soft, and I think it would be fine on anyone with sensitive skin.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff.

Love this Balm

I adore this cleansing balm. You warm a little in your hands, massage it into your face and it takes all the makeup off quickly, easily with a minimum of fuss. The product isn't overly scented and doesn't irritate my eyes at all. This product irritates less than some specific eye makeup removers I have used. This is not cheap but does seem worth the price. I will probably repurchase.

Tips: use this as first step in a double cleanse.
