My son and I use this regularly after brushing, and found that it works really well at leaving a fresh taste in your mouth. The sensitive one is good if you have sensitive teeth, we have used both the sensitive and the spearmint flavoured ones. It's alcohol free, too, and claims to last up to 12 hours of freshness, but it didn't last that long for me. It doesn't burn your mouth like some other mouth washes, the bottle lasts for ages too.

Tips: You can dilute it with a bit of water if you think it's too strong.
I have been using this mouth wash for a few months twice daily. It is reasonably priced and a bottle usually lasts a fortnight in our place with 2 adults using it.
This doesn't burn your mouth right off the bat but can if you swish it around for too long. This is also great for gargling when you have a sore throat of for general throat health. Left my mouth and gums feeling fresh - no weird after taste. I found less plaque and bleeding gums after a few weeks use. Would totally recommend this
Tips: Use after brushing and flossing for maximum effect
I purchased this a couple of times in minty flavours, and as much as I was always impressed by the great clean feeling they gave me, I never liked the tingly, burning-like sensation it would leave on my tongue. Bring in the 'Fresh Tea' flavour and problem solved! I love it!! It's actually sweet compared to regular mouth washes. It doesn't burn my tongue and it leaves my mouth feeling nice and clean with a pleasant but not over-powering scent.
Tips: I highly recommend trying the 'Fresh Tea' scent!
I used to avoid using mouthwash due to the burning sensation - I now buy the Colgate Plax in Fresh Tea and do not have this problem anymore. Its fresh, slightly sweet and pleasant to use. Used in conjunction with brushing & flossing, I find it leaves my mouth and breath fresh and clean.
The lasting impression of Colgate Plax mouth rinse is that it burns my mouth to the point of being unbearable. I really do like the clean fresh feeling it gives me but its hard to get past the burning feeling on my tongue. I like the flavour range it comes in and the fact that they leave my breath fresh which is gives great confidence. I team this with brushing and flossing and find that my teeth have strengthened up over the past few months and aren't as sensitive as they once were.
Tips: I use this first then brush to help get the burning out of my mouth faster.
Bleurgh!
I'm currently using the ice flavour of this and having serious buyers remorse and it's severely testing my project pan. I was using a different brand and loved it but was short on money at the supermarket so went for this at half the price thinking how different can it be? Very different apparently.
My main gripe is the awful taste. It's not too atrocious at first but the lingering aftertaste is truly revolting. It's so bad that the man of the house refuses to use it and I'm left to gag my way through the entire bottle before I can buy my nice brand. I can kind of get through it by rinsing with water after but that kind of defeats the purpose.
The results don't stack up to the previous mouthwash I was using either. I don't get the squeaky clean feeling that I had come to expect.
I guess it's better than nothing and if you can stand the strong artificial sweetener aftertaste then the reasonable price makes it a great option for those on a budget. I highly doubt I will repurchase though.
I normally find mouthwashes too harsh and overpowering and I can't handle the burning sensation in my mouth. But Colgate Plax is very gentle and mild, which makes it much easier to gargle it. It makes my mouth feel very clean and fresh, and even feel fresh the morning after.
I prefer the Fresh Tea version - it is very refreshing and has a sweet green tea taste. The spearmint one reminds me too much of being at the dentist (the smell and taste) - which brings up all sorts of anxieties.
A very good and affordable product in my oral care routine.
Tips: Try all the 'flavours' until you find one you like best
I have this in the light blue formulation (Peppermint) and I find the taste to be pleasant. It's refreshing but not overly sweet, which is how I prefer my mouthwash. Mouthwash that tastes sweet should be banned. I have also used the Fresh Mint, which is the green version. I also always ensure that they are alcohol free.
I gargle about half a capful of this for about 20-30 seconds - it does not sting or become unbearable like some mouthwashes do.
I use this every morning and night and it leaves my mouth feeling fresher than just brushing and flossing alone - it's an essential step in my routine.
As you age especially after kids and hit your 30 your teeth start giving you problems..... A staple in my bathroom and daily routine is mouthwash together with flossing. Although my dentist tells me that I can make my own I prefer just buying it affordable price I always buy spearmint the green one..... As it leaves the freshest after taste getting all the nasties out that the brush couldn't leaving me so fresh and clean.
Not a fan of this mouthwash. I felt like it was too weak, compared to other brands and that it wasn't very affective in keeping my mouth fresh and clean. Taste wise very pleasant and great selection of flavours.
