Do You Regularly Use a Serum?

I remember when serums were an extra step in my skin care routine that required remembering and effort.  Now, they're THE step in my skin care routine.  If I could only buy one product for the rest of my life it would be a serum.

Thicker than a liquid but thinner than a cream, a serum doesn't replace a product in your skincare routine - you introduce a serum to take advantage of the highly concentrated active ingredients and deep penetrating formula.

Serums are often introduced as a 'cure' or 'rescue' when your skin is already showing the signs of ageing, but they can be used earlier to help prevent the signs too.  Regular use of the right serum can prove invaluable in the fight against lines, wrinkles and age spots.  They can also help reduce the appearance of scarring and even skin tone.  Serums can also be really impactful at targeting specific skin issues such a dull skin, rosecea, or acne.

And wouldn't you know it we have ourselves a serum going out for review!

Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Serum is enriched with [3.5%] Vitamin C*, Niacinamide & Salicylic Acid and promises to reduce the appearance of dark spots and enhance glow.  It also contains Lemon Extract, a powerful superfood known for its brightening properties.

The formula has been carefully blended to provide dark-spot action without being heavy or greasy on the skin and has been scientifically proven to reduce dark spots and acne mark appearance.  It is formulated to suit all skin types and tones, and is dermatologically tested.

Oh and all Garnier products are officially approved by Cruelty Free International - so it's kind to the fluffies too!

So if you'd like to put your hands up for this trial team (if we can keep them away from the Beauty Crew!) why not get chatting to us about your serum experience.  Do you regularly use a serum?  For what problem and what results have you seen?  If you don't use a serum, why not?

This sounds like everything I could want in one serum! I have a few different serums I use to try and help with lines, dull skin, but most especially my stubborn acne scars/marks. I haven’t found anything that works especially well In that department but my skin does love a vitamin c serum and seems brighter after use. Would absolutely love to try this!

I don't use serums but I do have dark spots, would like to try this serum to see any improvements.

Yes! I love. Good serum and anything anti-aging in my books is a win! I would love to give this a go specially if it brightens the skin with winter coming around the corner very soon.

This sounds like an absolute gem, all the absolute game changer products in a bottle. I'd love to try this product and avoid the need to hide my skin with makeup

Would love to try this as I have hyperpigmentation on one side of my face under my eye and it’s only getting worse,Very uneven skin tone aswell as a lot of scarring,be interesting to see if it actually works.

I sometimes use one but haven't found one that has made a real difference.

I have been using Paulas Choice vitamin C and love it. My age spots are diminishing and there is a nice glow to my skin. I would like to try something g less expensive.

I've recently started using Dr Lewinn's Intensive Action Caviar Eye Serum which has been a revelation and I'm a convert! I haven't found a great facial serum yet. The one I have been using is Sence Beauty's anti-aging serum for the face and it is sticky and doesn't absorb well. I love the idea of Vitamin C in a brightening serum and would adore the opportunity to trial it and report back.

I have used a serum in the past but I didn't think it was all that but I've always been a fan of vitamin c infused skin care so if love to try this. Please pick me so my skin can be brightened and those pesky sun (age) spots that are starting to appear may be kept at bay.

I don't regularly use a serum as I don't know which one to try! I have always been interested in adding a serum to my daily skincare routine, so would love to give Garnier a test to see how it works. I have noticed small lines and wrinkles to form in my skin so I would love to see if this product helps reduce or even prevent them from being more defined.
