TRESemme Dry Shampoo

I purchased this dry shampoo in a desperate moment of oily, flat hair and I was quite disappointed. My hair didn't feel very refreshed and it leaves white powdery residue in my hair. Won't be buying again.

I was expecting great things as i do like their shampoo and conditioners but i was disappointed. It does freshen up your hair and removes any oil but it comes out white, even in my light blonde hair this was an issue. It made it look slightly grey. It also showed up on my clothes and anywhere else it may have landed when i sprayed. I would not recommend this.

I had high hopes for this product. I followed the instructions but unfortunately it was not suitable for my hairstyle, I was left with greasy hair. The good points is that you get a lot of product for the price and it smells really lovely but it just wasn't suitable for my type of hair. You could also see the residue left in my hair...i actually think that it may work better for me if I had towel dried my hair first.

I'm not a believer in dry shampoo (shock horror, I know) but I bought this when I went away and was not sure I would have access to a shower to be able to wash my hair.

I wash my hair every day, as I do intense exercise frequently and my hair is already greasy feeling when I wake up. This does not soak up the morning grease very well, instead leaving my hair feeling gritty and sticky with a grey cast.

I would not use this again - my hair just felt limp and gross. This has put me off other dry shampoos - I just don't feel properly clean unless there is water involved.

We were going away on holiday and I thought it would be useful if time was short. It turned out to be a jolly headache as I ended up jumping into the shower and washing it out as my hair looked and felt chalky and dirtier than ever. I couldn't even get a hairdryer and brush to rectify the problem, so an old fashioned shampoo and conditioner under the shower was the only way out. It's a pity because Tresemme products are usually excellent.

I have used several different dry shampoo's and this one just doesnt cut it. It has a nice fragrance but thats about it. I found I had to use quite a lot to get rid of the 'greasy' look but it was quite heavy and stiff on my hair afterwards. I also found I needed to shampoo a couple of times in the shower to get rid of it.

This is the only dry shampoo I have ever used. It wasn't a success. The concept is good however it made my fine hair like wire and hard 2 style. It also took a bit of extra effort 2 remove when washing it out. It smelt ok not over powering but for me conventional washing is the way 2 go. Haven't been tempted 2 try another brand.

I don't know if it's just my two cans of dry shampoo, but with both of them, the nozzle always gets stuck and I'm unable to apply any dry shampoo. Only after a million attempts of trying to unstick the nozzle, the product just gushes out and leaves a huge mess on my roots and it's not easy to massage in or brush out properly. It just left my hair feeling dirty. And it didn't give my hair any volume like it claimed it would, I'm not a fan of this particular dry shampoo, which is the only one I've tried so far. So it's probably a good thing that the nozzles are completely stuffed now. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

I gave this product a second chance; I first tried it when I was brunette and what a let down! It leaves behind some pretty nasty grey residue despite combing it through. BUT, because I had some left, I thought I would try it now that I'm blonde. It was better because the residue isn't as noticeable but still not great. It's not something I'd happily recommend; sure, it works OK, but only briefly and after a while my hair looks and feels worse than that of what I was trying to avoid in the first place. The smell so intense and the mess it leaves on your comb and/or hairbrush is just.....ew! Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros for me and I feel like it would be less effort just to wash your hair than use this dry shampoo.
