L’Oreal Paris Laser x3  - Intensive Anti-Ageing

Laser x3 is an anti-ageing solution that visibly corrects wrinkles, re-densifies skin and re-supports contours.  This is L’Oreal Paris’ first anti-ageing skincare product to challenge a laser session.

Active ingredients Pro-Xylane (concentrated to 3%). Fragmented Hyaluronic Acid and LHA offer in-depth anti-ageing results.

AGE 35+ (to age 55).

Younger looking skin without a procedure.

Usage

STEP ONE – Serum.  Serum’s are formulated to provide additional care in conjunction with your day or night cream.  They generally contain a higher concentration of active ingredients to help give skin an added boost.  Use morning and night.
USAGE 1. Place two hazel-nut sized amounts of serum on the fingertips. 2. Dab the product over the entire face, neck and décolletage. 3. Spread on without rubbing or applying too much pressure. 4. Wait about one minute before applying day or night cream so that the serum has time to penetrate.
STEP TWO – Day Cream.  Day creams are designed to hydrate, nourish and protect the skin from everyday aggressors.
USAGE 1. Lightly apply day cream on your face. 2. Spread out the cream using sweeping motions with your fingers, lightly pressing down on your entire face to stimulate blood flow.
STEP THREE – Night Cream. Whilst you sleep, skin is renewed, nourished and repaired.  Night is therefore an ideal time to provide the skin with active ingredients to support this process.
USAGE 1. Lightly apply night cream on your face. 2. Spread out the cream using sweeping motions with your fingers, lightly pressing down on your entire face to stimulate blood flow.
STEP FOUR – Eye Cream. The skin around your eyes is more sensitive and delicate than the rest of your face.  That’s why you need a specially formulated product that targets your eye area.
USAGE. 1. Place a pea sized amount of the eye product on each temple.  2. Gently spread the product toward the eye area, going from the outer corner to the inner corner and moving your fingertip toward the upper part of the lid, tapping gently.

Loreal X3 - mostly a delight!

Loreal X3 set includes the: *Eye cream - genius applicator - recommended to all. **Serum - my favourite product in this set, fits so well with the eye cream & day cream - highly recommended to all. ***Day Cream - devine, such a lush product to use, no SPF is the only negative for me - recommended to all. ****Night Cream - is thinner than the day cream, seems like the day should be the night cream and the night be the day. Felt that the night cream stands out as the odd one out, its texture is different than the other three, colour is white and unfortunately the cream rubs off - not recommended to anyone.

I have used all 4 products for the past 4 weeks with a remarkable result. I have noticed reduced intensitiy of fine lines, noticable reduction with the intensity of my frown lines inbetween eye brows, much smoother & even complexion, long lasting moisture and reduction of red cheeks. I don't have Rosacea or anything nasty, just red cheeks, very annoying to me and I am so stoked they have reduced dramatically. This was a unexpected result.

With the exception of the night cream I would certainly recommend the system. Eye cream and Serum being used morning & evening would be a minimum. Don't forget SPF when using the day cream.

All products have a subtle fragrance & are easily absorbed. I have seen myself take a little more time and care using the products, they require a delicate touch and with the busy life we all lead rushing face care can be easy.

If you can't invest in all 4x products in range at one time my advice is Serum 1st, Day Cream 2nd then eye cream 3rd giving the night cream a miss.

I am rating 4.5/5. I don't think not using the night cream would make too much of a difference. The magic must have is the serum, that stuff is devine and in my opinion its done most of the work.

Loreal & BR, thank you so very much for the great trial. It really does remind me that using products designed to be used together can create amazing results.

Tips: Use the serum in place of primer, I have found this to be great for the lighter summer makeup

A great skincare system!

As a brand, L'oreal has been really competing against high end brands in it's offerings to us lucky consumers and this Revitalift range is no exception.

All of the products have wonderful active ingredients including hyaluronic acid which is my favourite ingredient of the moment! It also includes increased doses of Pro-Xylane to re-plump the skin and Adenosine for anti-ageing.

The packaging is all glass with the exception of the eye cream which comes in a plastic tube with a metal dispenser.

I was impressed with the whole system and have some standouts:

Serum - this is a great day-to-day serum that is smoothing and really easy to apply. It gives that extra oomph to the skin, preparing it for the daytime moisturiser.

Day Cream - This was the stand out product for me. It was a lovely gel-like cream that had a light fragrance. This felt delicious to apply and you could feel it adding moisture and plumpness to your skin immediately. Hydration lasted all day. It worked well with an SPF on top as well.

Night Cream - not an overly heavy night cream, this delivered hydration during the night and my skin looked great in the morning! It wasn't as rich as some that I have used, but I actually really like it.

Eye Cream - This was my least favourite product of the regime. Having said that, it's still a great daytime eye cream. It just didn't stand out among the heavy weigh products above. I usually like a heavier eye cream and found the metal dispenser a little gimmicky. BUT my makeup did go on smoothly over the top. It may just be that my under eye might need something a bit more powerful.

I had great results with this. I used all of the products the over summer holidays were I enjoyed lots of food and drink. This regime meant that my skin didn't get dehydrated and was lovely an moisturised during the summer!

The whole regime works so well together and can stand alongside some high end skincare systems with its head held high! I'd definitely recommend and as it's available in the supermarkets, you can get some great discounts on already accessible pricing.

Tips: If you're looking for a system that gives you lots of hydration, then give this a go. You'll be pleased with the results.

Revitalization x3 Intensive Anti-aging regime

I was lucky enough to trial these products, and have loved them! This is the best anti-aging regime I have found, and I have tried a lot of products in the hope of finding something new and improved. Serum - applied to face, neck and décolletage before applying moisturiser. Easy to use, not sticky. Eye cream - has definitely softened the crows feet and eye bags firmer. The applicator was a bit of a change for me instead of patting the cream in, but easy to use Day cream - is very moisturizing, delicate fragrance, lovely creamy consistency. Followed with a primer my foundation doesn't slip off my face during the day. Night cream - best ever, will not be giving this up in a hurry! Silky smooth, rich with a delicate fragrance, love it! My skin feels supple and looks good.

Overall, I have loved using these products and would highly recommend them.

Tips: Day and night cream - a little goes a long way, use sparingly at first until you figure out how much your skin needs.

impressed

Firstly a huge thank you BR for selecting me to trial this regime. I have loved it!

The packaging of this range is stunning, the day and night cream plus the serum all come in glass jars and the eye cream in a soft plastic tube. The dark red colour packaging is striking with the metallic grey lids. I also love how there is minimal writing on the packaging.

My skin type is dry and I can have sensitive eyes with some products. I am in my thirties and have a few lines on my face.

SERUM: I love this product a lot, from the packaging to the easy to dispense pump top. It has a silky smooth texture, it is easy to apply and sinks into your skin immediately. It has a floral scent that isn’t overpowering. I have noticed the red patches on my cheeks aren’t as noticeable anymore so I am excited to keep using this to see if they will disappear a bit more.

EYE CREAM: Again this comes in pretty and practical packaging. It is easy to apply and absorbs easily into the skin leaving your eyes looking bright and hydrated. I have noticed a reduction in the dark under eye circles. I can have sensitive eyes at times and sometimes products close to my eyes can make them sting and water like crazy, but this eye cream is super gentle and hasn’t aggravated them at all.

DAY CREAM: I love the pretty glass jar this cream comes in, although it is a ‘dip your fingers in jar’ this would have to be my least favourite product from the range. The consistency does seem normal in the jar but once on my face I felt like my skin couldn’t breathe and it kept flaking off, especially not ideal when you wear it under foundation. I am not sure what I was doing wrong I did try using only the smallest of amounts and it still happened.

NIGHT CREAM: this is another awesome product it comes in the same packaging as the day cream and only has the word NIGHT separating the two jars. I love this thick rich cream, but not heavy or greasy and even though it is thick it absorbs into the skin very quickly and leaves your skin looking hydrated even when you wake up my skin already looked half decent.

Overall I have found the serum, eye cream and night cream the best from the range and I am just hoping that I had a dud day cream. I would highly recommend the serum and the eye cream as they really stood out for me. I have used some very high end eye creams and I found this one was just as good minus the big price tag.

L’Oreal Revitalift Laser x3 Regime Review

Overall great skin care range.

Modern packaging makes product feel premium and is easily identifiable.

Active ingredients contained in these products which felt like they deliver, smoother skin which felt hydrated following use.

Do wish the day cream contained a suncreen for our harsh NZ sun and not a fan of the metal applicator on the eye cream but both surmountable issues and products are great value for the price point.

Would buy most of these products again (just not the day cream due to no SPF and therefore needing another product on top) and would happily recommend to others.

Tips: All products have great coverage so don't overdo the quantiy in application.

Amazing Regime

This regime has done absolute wonders for my skin, I have been using it for the past month and overall my skin looks clearer, softer and more youthful. Every one of these items has played a part, from the eye cream helping with the fine lines and bags around my eyes (thank you!) to the night cream working it's magic overnight. I would highly recommend this regime if it's in your price range as it really does help and it makes your skin feel amazing!

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 - Regime

I was honoured to trial the L’Oréal Intensive Anti-Ageing Regime. I was immediately impressed with the packaging which is very luxurious and high-end in appearance showcasing the products in silvery/purple metallic boxes, gold script and red. The actual product is equally luxe with the day and night cream being in heavy glass jars with silver/purple metallic lids. The serum is in a glass pump bottle and the eye cream in a tube. L'OREAL ANTI-AGING POWER SERUM The serum is silky in appearance and easy to apply requiring one or two drops depending on skin dryness. It promises to reduce wrinkles, tighten pores, even and firm skin. On first applying the serum I found the fragrance to be off putting, reminding me of aftershave. However, I like this product; my skin appears to have improved in evenness and looks firmer. L'OREAL INTENSIVE ANTI-AGING DAY MOISTURISER This moisturiser is very thick and heavy in appearance but light to touch. It promises to improve skin’s quality, fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet. It also promises to firm, increase denseness and give the face a redefined look. It states to massage for better absorption. When I first started using the day moisturiser I was impressed with the overall improvement in my skin however, as the days became hotter, I struggled to use this moisturiser let alone massage it in. It slides around my face and ‘sits’ on my skin. It has reduced the improvement I first experienced when using the range. This moisturiser maybe better suited to a drier skin rather than the normal to oily combination of my skin. L'OREAL INTENSIVE ANTI-AGING MASK-CREAM NIGHT Like the day moisturiser, the night cream is very thick and heavy with a smooth consistency, hence the ‘mask-cream’. It promises by morning your skin will look new, smoothed and tightened. It will visibly reduce wrinkles and repair, re-texturise and transform skin. It massages well and immediately leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. Until I started having problems with the day moisturiser, my skin did look great in the morning. L'OREAL ANTI-AGING EYE CREAM This is the star of the range! It is a lovely lightweight eye cream, easy to apply using the cooling metal doe foot applicator. It promises to smooth the skin around the eye area, reduce bags and refresh the look of eyes. It promises to reduce wrinkles, firm, tone and lift the eye contour area. My crow’s feet are definitely less defined and smoother looking and my eye area does seem firmer. I love this product and will be re-purchasing! Overall these products are a good skincare range for the mature skin. I have been using the range for four weeks and until compromised by the day moisturiser I experienced an improvement in my skin tone and smoothness. My skin felt plumper, firmer and looked brighter. The crow’s feet around my eyes are definitely less pronounced. Now if only it would fix the groves above my top lip!

Tips: Unless you have incredibly dry skin, less is more with this product. The day moisturiser is probably best suited to skin that is more on the dry side.

Huge Hits, Huge Misses

Review disclaimer: This was a BIG review and to be as fair as possible to the products, I shelved my regular routine and didn't add in any new products just so I could gauge the effectiveness of this line alone.

Serum Oh my gosh. My skin loved this. Two pumps, twice a day and my skin was just drinking it in. Doesn’t smell too bad, and does make my skin feel amazing straight after application. The texture of my skin did improve slightly, but I also starting breaking out.

Day Cream Not offensive and probably a bit heavier than I’d like from a day cream. No SPF which is disappointing as over the summer holidays, I gave my skin a break and didn’t wear any makeup. I would say that yes, my skin is firmer, but marginally so. A thick-ish cream too, so not my favourite as I like my creams to be super lightweight. Merely a personal preference kind of thing.

Night Cream For two weeks, when this cream went on, I wanted to claw my face off. Its not so much as a cream, but a moisture mask. I despise heavy moisturisers every night. The texture is kind of like a jelly/cream; smell not offensive, but its so thick and heavy. Every morning I woke up with the Exxon Oil Slick for a face. It is just too much moisture. It’ll have its place, like after an AHA peel where you want to get as much moisture in to settle the skin as possible, but every night, its a nope from me.

Eye Cream The bags under my eyes are Chanel. Or at least, I wish they were. This was the only product that gave me the most noticeable results. Whilst my wrinkles didn’t get zapped into history, they certainly were slightly less visible and my skin texture certainly improved. Even a wee dark spot beside one eye has started to go away as well. The applicator is bizarre and with my bad eyesight and a mirror far away, I got it in my eye once, so resorted to using my fingers for application.

My review was similar to yours except I didn't like the day cream but found the night cream to be ok. I liked the serum and loved the eye cream and the same as you feel, this is where I have the best results.

Overall a value for money skin care regime

Of all the products the only one I had issues with was the day cream which reacted badly on my skin. I proceeded with the regime without this cream. At 52 you have to be realistic. It was never going to make wrinkles disappear. Using the remaining products for over a month my skin did feel smoother and less dry. I liked the combination of serum and night cream as well as the eyecream. Overall I think this regime is good value for money and while it won't rid you of wrinkles it does have a positive effect . Whether it's just the sense that you're doing something to help I'm not sure but it's good enough for me to continue using it.

Anti aging serum

Was delighted to see L’Oreal products ,always my favourites . Came in a nice sized bottle ,easy to use ,at first I thought the pump wasn’t working well but realised you only use a small amount ..and that’s how it is meant to work

Felt lovely on my skin, made my skin feel nice ,however noticed later as I rubbed my face ,a rubbery like substance came off .

I didn’t really notice any benefits as such from the serum ,as much as it felt nice on . So I wouldn’t purchase as don’t find it necessary .

It is a good quality product ,just not for me .

Tips: Even though it might appear the pump isn’t working ,it is , distributes it in small amounts which is all you need .
