I seriously heart Snow Fairy shower gel and hang out every year once my supply runs out until it comes back in stock again. When this soap was released I was so excited that I could have my favorite scent all year round. As with all Lush soaps this leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft and clean and I really enjoy using it.

Tips: I cut my lush bars of soap into a few bits when I get them home and have smaller ones in the shower so you don't get as much wastage from the water being on in the shower when you're not using it. One of the Lush staff recommended this to me and I've done it ever since.
I loooove Snow Fairy, but it's a seasonal product and finding a similar scented product any other time was a mission. Enter Godmother (anyone else finding these all very fairy tale-y as names? Love it!)
From the deep berry colour of the bar, to the floating purple iridescent sparklies, to the super sweet, super girly scent, this soap is luxurious and special.
As with many Lush soaps the lack of harsh chemical cleaners means that my hands aren't dried out and left feeling tight after washing with this soap (I only use soap for washing my hands, as a rule, because I'm a shower gel kinda girl at heart). The scent lingers beautifully on skin but isn't overpowering... and it makes the bathroom smell amazing!
As with all Lush soaps you can ask for a piece the price or size you like - and I'd ask them to cut that piece into chunks for you (or do it yourself at home) as smaller pieces are easier to handle, and dry out faster, meaning less waste.
Tips: I store 'spare' soaps among my towels in my linen cupboard and this one in particular leaves a lovely scent in the fabrics!
The first time I went into Lush I sniffed out this soap and went directly to it. I'm crazy about the smell, and all my friends and family know that this is the one they have to buy for me now. It's honestly delicious (the same as Snow Fairy evidently, but I've actually never used that). Fruity and spicy and brilliant. The soap itself moisturises quite well, and I don't find my hands dry or 'squeaky' after using it. I like to have this by my kitchen sink, and I frequently find myself running downstairs to wash my hands there rather than with the other soap in the bathroom. As with all Lush products, you'll have to decide for yourself whether you like the smell. But the soap itself is an excellent, effective product, and I couldn't recommend it more.
When I was first introduced to Lush, I had no idea what was good and what wasnāt, so when me and my friend did an online order together I was so amazed when the package arrived and I could smell this amazing sweet scent. I was so happy and excited to see where the scent was coming from, only to find it was a product my friend had ordered, not me. And surprise, it was a bar of soap? Not something that I was initially drawn to when I first started buying from lush, but after smelling it... I knew I needed it in my life.
I found this mound of heaven when I went to a physical lush store, and my gosh I canāt believe that even when I saw it, I underestimated it. Honestly, even though it is the most beautiful purple colour, with a slight ombre effect with a dark top to it, it didnāt draw my attention amongst all the other soap on the table such as honey I washed the kids which just had a more special spark about it. It wasnāt until my friend actually pointed it out, and I picked up a slab of soap and smelt it when I realised what it was. I obviously brought some, but donāt ask me why, it took my about 2 months after I brought it before I actually started using it.. Weird I know.
But when I started using, honestly guys! Love. Love at first touch, smell, and lather. If I knew how to write drooling in text without making it look like a typo I would! It smells ah-mazing! Seriously. And I feel like even that is an understatement. Its sweet, but not sickly sweet, it just has a nice depth to it which is warm, sweet, and comforting without smelling tacky and cheap.
In the shower, it lathers up not like a soapy immensely foamy lather, but more like a creamy lather. I donāt know if that makes sense, but thatās what it is and it not drying at all. If I scrape the soap when its wet, the soap has a jelly consistency to it, which could be why the lather is like that.
This item has gone from not even being on my radar, to becoming one of my favourite Lush products. And that is saying a lot because Lush has got some amazing goodies to share. If you like sweet smells, you need to try this! Also, if you donāt like sweet smells, you should still try this because Iām pretty sure it could convert you! Iāve heard this scent is the same as the snow fairy range, and if this is true, I will be stocking up on that when it comes out.
I was gifted a box of Lush goodies recently and I decided to try out the Godmother soap first. I looked it up on the Lush website and was stoked to see that it smells like Snow Fairy. I've never tried Snow Fairy before because I'm not a fan of shower gels so to see that the scent was now available in soap form made my day.
To me it smells like that wonderful creamy pink cough mixture I used to take over 20 years ago (boy that sounds like a galaxy away). Even though it looks like Tip Top's Jelly Tip I'm pretty sure it doesn't taste as good but it smells like it would hehe.
I prefer to use this as a hand soap as opposed to the body because the scent lingers much longer on me that way. I'm trying hard to refrain from unnecessary face touching so as soon as I smell the lovely scent I know I'm in dangerous territory haha.
It is quite slippery in comparison to other soaps but since I'm only using it as hand soap it's not a big deal. I don't notice any difference in the softness or smoothness in my hands other than it smells good and feels clean.
I received a bar the size of the rectangular Lush soap tin and with everyday use it'll probably last me 2-3 weeks (assuming I don't get carried away with lathering my hands). I would buy this myself!
Tips: I keep my soap in a water draining soap dish. Would love to find the soap dish that has a small spout to drain the water into the sink!!
The first soap I bought from Lush was this. It smelt like candy, sweet heavenly goodness and to this day it is my favourite. It moisturises and softens my skin like no other brand of soap has before and the smell makes me smell like a candy store, but not OVERLY sweet. It's great. Would buy this is a gift, would recommend, have bought copious amounts of it. Love it.
Tips: The smallest weight you can buy at Lush is 100g and if you venture forth and buy more than that, just use a butter knife at home and cut it up and gladwrap the left over to use another time. I find that 100g lasts me about 8 weeks at the least.
I went into Lush to buy a present for a friend, and walked out with some goodies for myself. I have always adored Snow Fairy, and I went in sniffing around the store to see what else smelt similar. Then I can across this gem. *swoons* It means I can smell Snow Fairy all year round!
Obviously with Lush soaps you can choose the amount you get, which is great. I usually just get the 100grams and work from there. This soap is moisturising, which I always find surprising from a soap, and I adore the bubble gum and candy floss scent. It makes the whole bathroom smell divine. I'm not the biggest fan of bar soap, and am going to experiment with turning this into a liquid soap. But if it doesn't work - I will make an exception for this!
Tips: Cut it into smaller pieces, they recommend it at the shop and it makes a lot of sense - less wastage. Keep some in your drawers. DIVINE!
The godmother is the soap form of snow fairy. It smells amazing. Use it like you would any other soap and it will have your skin feeling soft and smelling great. At lush you can choose the size of soap you want which is cool. At $6.90 per 100 grams it is quite expensive but it is worth it because the smell lasts all day
Tips: Put in your undie draw to make your undies smell great
I have been using Lush soap for many many years. I was told it's good for people with sensitive skin. I was really scared to try this so I would buy it just to put in my drawers and wardrobe. Then one day I thought so what if you react, I have to try it.
Off to the shower and I haven't looked back! Snow fairy is my favourite scent and this is a solid of it. I love how in the shop you can buy the size you want. I used to buy big blocks and come home and chop it up. Now I get the store to do it so every bit is wrapped in their paper.
In the shower I store it on a wire rack so it doesn't go mushy. This is firmer than alot of their other soaps so won't vanish as quick. I don't use it on my face as I'm more sensitive there. I do use on my body and use it to shave my legs as well.
Personally I like to mix up using this bar and another they have. I find my skin doesn't react with being switched up as well. I love how the fragrance wakes me up and makes me smile. I love how hours and hours later, I'll get a wee sniff of it off my skin. It's not over powering at all.
Tips: Put it in drawers, wardrobes, linen cupboards and hot water cylinders to make items smell divine and adds fragrance to your home
As an outdoors girl and with 4 kids running around I am forever washing hands wether it's mine or the kids so good soap is necessary!
The godmother soap is amazing. It smells like cherries it smells good enough to eat. (I have noticed teeth marks in it so 1 little person has tried) it is a very deep red colour and the texture isn't like your usual soap it is quite soft almost like butter. It doesn't lather up too much I do however find it hard to hold and get a decent grip on it as Its in a cube/square shape but I'm sure this will be less of a problem the more we use it.
This also needs to be stored on a rack to dry as I let it sit on the bathroom vanity for a couple of hours and it did go a bit mushy on the bottom where it sat. It does fill the whole bathroom with the amazing scent it is just delicious
This is such a lovely moisturising soap my hands haven't gone rough or dry since using it and once your hands are dry you get a lovely cherry slightly rose smell and they are lovely and soft. I Don't think I could ever go back to using regular soap after using this
