Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel One of the greatest scents of the holiday season is that of sweet treats like cookies and candies that you just cannot get enough of. Imagine smelling that every day when you lather up to take a shower, and you have LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel. The gel comes in three different size bottles — 3.3, 8.4, and 16.9 ounces — and it smells of bubble gum, vanilla, and cotton candy. The LUSH Snow Fairy gel is also pink and sparkly which just adds to its appeal. LUSH only releases the gel around the holidays, but you can find it among the vast inventory on eBay any time of year. Best of all, all LUSH cosmetics are made with a conscience. The company is against animal testing, uses only organic and safe ingredients, uses only vegan and vegetarian ingredients, and tries to use as little packaging as possible to help keep the planet clean. You can also purchase a sparkly angel-shaped bar of soap in the Snow Fairy scent.

Bubble gum yum

This is a very cheerful shower gel. Smells like bubblegum. Pink with blue glitter - although fortunately I never saw any glitter left on my skin.

A little on a shower puff foamed up brilliantly & and I could easily wash myself with one application so this is good value.

Delightful gel to use.

Lush Pink Sparkly Shower Gel!

This product is a lot of fun. Rather like a pink snow globe, it has glitter that settles to the bottom, guaranteeing you countless wasted but satisfying hours shaking the bottle to mix up the glitter.

The scent is all things pink and girly - candy floss, bubble gum, etc. As someone who doesn't like pink (having used up 150% of my pink quota as a young child), the body wash was slightly alarming (so pink! So sweet!), but I couldn't deny the smell was yummy, rather than over-powering.

Other than the scent this is a fairly standard product to use. It is not particularly moisturising (nor does it pretend to be) so it may not be suitable for those with particularly dry skin.

Like all Lush products this product is ethically made and packaged in an environmentally friendly way. You are encouraged to recycle Lush packaging. I <3 the ethics of this company. Lush 4 president!

Tips: This is only released seasonally, so if you love it stock up at Christmas.

Macs, when it is next available go to your local Lush and ask for a sample. They are good like that. :)

It's Lush

Ah Snow Fairy, you should be called The Bubblegum Fairy.

The Snow Fairy shower gel is a bubblegum, vanilla and candyfloss scented shower gel. Personally I find it smells like bubblegum and general sweetness.

In terms of performance, it performs like a standard shower gel and leaves the skin with a slight snow fairy fragrance.

The shower gel is a hot pearly pink and packaged in a recyclable "non-vigin" plastic bottle. And I like how it says on the bottle about recycling bottle tops at your local lush store. Which also matches up nicely with the Lush ideals on the enviroment.

All in all it's a lovely girly shower gel. And I love the smell. I just wish it were a little cheaper.

Snow Fairy

Snow Fairy to me smells like happiness, something about the candy floss and bubble gum scent put together makes your skin smooth and leaves a sweet scent. Snow Fairy does contain glitter but don't worry, it's mess free and you won't walk out the shower looking like a sparkly vampire.

Tips: Snow Fairy is limited edition so you better stock up when it hits store this Christmas.

Sickly sweet!

I got a small bottle of Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel in a gift pack for Christmas and after reading so many good things about it, I really wanted to like this product.

Unfortunately, I found the smell of Snow Fairy Shower Gel to be sickly sweet and overpowering, especially in our enclosed shower (we have a shower dome, so the scent gets trapped in there with the steam and there's no airflow until you get out). The first time I'd used it, by the time I'd finished showering and climbed out, I felt like I'd showered with candyfloss and had seriously overdosed on sugar; the scent of this product left the same strange feeling in back of my mouth that I get when I eat too much of something sickly sweet and I couldn't wait to get out into some fresh air. Not a good first impression of a product!

It did leave the bathroom smelling nice, it lathers really well and the little bottle lasts a long time, as only a small amount is needed to get a rich lather.

I really wanted to like this Shower Gel, as I love the smell of Fairy Dust, but I just found Snow Fairy to be too overpoweringly strong. I don't know if the strength of the scent differs from batch to batch, but unfortunately, I won't be buying any more Snow Fairy Shower Gel.

Tips: If I had a bath, I would have tried to use it as a bubble bath instead of a shower gel.

Glittery candy shop explosion...

I was gifted this body wash before Christmas last year... and I really was not a fan!

First off as pretty much everyone knows this is a Limited Edition product sold by the company Lush, when I received it I was totally stoked as I know how much hype this product has everyone I know loves it, and repurchases it once its on sale near Christmas time. I just really don't get it? 1. It doesn't smell anything like Christmas holiday time to me, 2. It has chunks of glitter spread throughout the gel 3. It totally dried my skin out.

The packaging is easy to use, and simple and looks nice in the shower. Price point is more than I would like to spend on a body wash so I'm relieved I was gifted this rather than bought it and been disappointed.

It washes you well and leaves a slight scent behind, but when you pop it on the scrub ball/flannel the entire shower entraps the scent and its so sickly sweet, it put me off! I ended up using the rest of it as a shaving lotion.

I didn't find it moisturised my skin, in fact I feel that it actually made it drier maybe that was due to the glitter in the actual body wash, which also I was not a fan of, maybe if I was 12 or 13.

Sadly I won't be repurchasing this, but it has definitely not put me off Lush at all.

Tips: If you aren't a fan of sweet candy, girly girl scents and want to look like a glitter fairy maybe try a tester size first.

Unique, long-lasting scent & makes showers fun!

I repurchase Snow Fairy every year at Christmas because it's that good! Snow Fairy comes in a range of sizes but I like to stick to the 100g as it's the perfect size for travel yet still lasts me ages! The shower gel comes in a recycled plastic bottle and lid with the classic black and white Lush labelling. I like that the product is vegan and the packaging is all recycled and can be returned in store to be recycled again (I love a more eco-conscious shower gel!!). The shower gel is a gorgeous candy pink in colour with a glittery sheen. The scent is STRONG so a small amount goes a really long way; if you dislike strong scents, steer clear! This smells like a combo of vanilla, candy floss, cherry, and bubblegum and is very unique, and my all time favourite shower gel scent! This is gentle on my sensitive skin and the smell lingers all day, even in summer! If I shower with this in the morning, I can still smell this on my skin at night, which I love as I want my shower gels to keep me smelling good all day! This adds so much luxury to my shower experience and definitely makes it more fun because the fragrance is so delicious, I want to eat it! I recommend for any little kids who love candy, or adults who love sweet, sugary scents! This can be a polarising scent where you either love it or don't, but I definitely love this! I will happily use this again and keep repurchasing it!

Tips: Return the plastic bottle with lid instore to receive $1 off your purchase (or keep 5 empty Lush bottles or pottles and exchange for a free fresh face mask!)

smells like lollies

Snow fairy is a limited edition product that comes out for Christmas. The scent reminds me of bubblegum. It smells so delicious. It's not a shower gel that has any particular benefits. All it does is clean your body, make it smell nice and has a little bit of sparkles. All In all I do buy it every Christmas because I love the smell

Tips: Use a loofah to make it last.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel

This shower gel has got to be a Christmas highlight! I was gifted it a few years ago and have been back to buy it a couple of times since. It has the most beautiful sweet scent that definitely smells like pink bubblegum and candy (if you're into that kind of thing). For me a little goes a long way so it lasts me a while. I've never found the glitter to be too over the top and quite honestly don't notice it on my skin after but it's a nice addition to the bottle. It's one of those shower gels that makes me feel extra good when I use it because it fills your shower with its gorgeous scent! I definitely recommend trying this one out, it's delicious.

Tips: If there's any left in the new year Lush offer them on sale for 50% off.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel

I absolutely love Lush shower gels. I tend to stock up during their sales by purchasing a few of the gift boxes, so I usually get the shower gels in 100ml sizes. Lush products in general can be a little expensive, but I feel like the shower gels are great value for money and come in such a great range of scents. Since you only need a little bit to get a good amount of lathering and to experience the scent, they last a reasonable amount of time.

I love the scent of Snow Fairy - I also use the Bubblegum lipscrub which has a similar sweet scent, and I have the soap ready to try. Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming in the shower gel formula (I think it’s the pear notes), but if you enjoy sugary scents then this is perfect. I tended to use it every second day or so, as it’s quite strong and indulgent. It’s not overly creamy and moisturiser is still needed afterwards like with most shower gels, so it’s selling point is really the scent - I’d definitely try a sample or pick up the 100ml bottle to begin with.

The only disappointment came with the sparkle - I could see it in the bottle, but it all sunk to the bottom and I never actually saw it on my skin. Maybe this happened because I used the shower gel after it’s best before date (I had lots of other products to use up first!), but it was a bit of a let down since it looked so pretty in the bottle. I would definitely repurchase, although I’d probably pick up the 100ml bottle again as I love trying a range of shower gels.
